Im gonna buy this fone. Culd any one tell mei hows this fone? is da camera gud? and the sound quality is good. best or bad??

The message alert tones for Nokia phones are not restricted to only 9sec. Infact it will played the entire music.. i used to have N6230 it will played the whole song.
Maybe SE shld consider to be more user-friendly and allows user to defined time for their message alert.

im sure every mobile phone like SE has a shop which sells the coating part, the keypad... all the front and back part which is scratched or so.. u can buy a new cover and stuff =)go to a phone shop then!

yes, i think you should return to the shop where you bought it. You have the warranty for that phone they should replace it with new one( or at least have it repair) but since you just bought it a week ago they should replace it.

Hello guys!Can someone answer me re k550i?I just bought the phone about 3 days ago. I charged it the same day I bought and and the next day about 7 hours from the time I charged it, the battery was drained.Is it normal? I have to return it back where I bought it coz the volume key in the side part of the phone got stuck and doesn't function properly. I do hope you can help me. Thanks a lot

message alert tones are supposed to be shorter than ringtones, which is why it only goes for 9 seconds.

why sms ringtone in my K550i is very short? it's only taking 9 second, i've also changed sms tone using mp3 but it's the same ONLY TAKES 9 SECOND and the song stops!!! can anybody help me?

Yes! you can buy this phone in Shanghai. I bought mine here and it really works perfect. I can rate this phone 10/10.

just bought a white version, and all i can say is WOW.. overall very good phone, except for the keypad which takes time to get used to.. 10/10

check this video you'll understand what is flash menu theme... since k550i cant support flash file (.swf) so there is no way to change the menu like w610 did, unless u flash it to w610 (high risk).

for the k550i review ,gsm areana said the web browser did not live up to the challenge ,there I relized that their beta version was an (i-mode)so should i buy yet

I just owned this phone for one week. Before bought it, i have considered so many things, including the design (keypad, camera lens cover), features (sound, flash), and performances as compare to other SE phones.
In my opinion, it is a great value phone. It has all the features you want. I don't think 3G is a necessary feature. In fact, its internet connection boost by Edge. Very fast.
The phone itself come with 75mb internal (new phone without useless items).
Well, the sound quality not as good as walkman, but i'm satisfy with it.
Display - vivid 262k color and cool. It is TFD technology, save power. Battery can long lasting more than 50 hours; including listen to radio, music, capture picture with flash on, sms, few calls, games, bluetooth for sending media, watch video, and surf internet. One thing i'm very dissapointed is this phone doesnt support flash (.swf) menu theme (flash it to w610 could be risky for me).
Cyber-shot - wow it sounds very nice trademark. However, it lack of image stabilizer, else it would be perfect. The photo u took u'll notice blur if ur phone shake a little bit. Overall the camera is great but not the best 2.0 mp class camera. It has night mode (switch to twilight scene), i wonder why people here say it doesn't offer night mode. When capture picture at night, not that bad with dual LED flash + night mode on.
Keypad. At first, i thought this keypad very lousy and ugly design. But when stick to this phone few days, feel like very nice design and the keypad not a big problem. Although play game and sms are a bit trouble.
In summary, this phone is value to buy with such cool features packed all together although is not 100% perfect. In fact, things wont get 10/10 perfect.

Currently, SE has their own cyber-shot, walkman series phone... hopefully, one day they also manage to design psp (tradmark) series phone (for games purpose, haha).
