It is a very good fone but the only 2 problems are that it doesnt hav night mode and no zoom at 2 or 1mp but the best part is the xenon flash.

hello i got k550i its good phone but keypad is problem and zoom is problem
but in ten thousand is good phone i must say sony spftware is too quick
and its battery time is excllent and mind blowing
so got he phone
and its is too loose in the casing
any body tells why the sony phones are not durable

I'm encouraged to visit the features of Sony Ericson(K550i). I'll be happy when I know its price. If I bougt it from Bangladesh then I get only 1 year warranty and from Saudi Arabia I'll get 3 years guarrantee. I know it is join venture company of Japan and America. But the product is fitting in China. Please assure me about that.

Except mega-brass, night mode camera quality & keypad it beats K750i in all other department. Battery backup is same for both. Dont forget to download tons of free Themes from lasyk.net .

Hey guys, just got new camdriver for K550 here. it ca now zoom at 2Mp resolution, saturates color better than the stock camdriver and allow 5cm MACRO!!! :) other features also include 20Fps in video recording. download it here :)

Great cellphone!!
Nice sound, nice design, nice camera... but u cant zoom in 1MP or 2MP mode, in VGA (640*480) mode u can.
I think the Nokia 5300 is better, have the same things, but 256 MB (MSD included, ok, u can buy a bigger one... but i dont have enough money), and u can zoom in all modes 2MP, 1MP and VGA mode!!

i got it.. yep it zooms in vga mode only & while taking videos.. not in 1mp or 2mp mode :(

Hi Stacey,...I exactly did what u just updated...But my battery is coming only for max 26-27 hrs. All the other features are excellent and i'm happy with that. I think i've take my mobile to service center within a month of purchase...That's too bad.
Everyone is saying "i'm charging my battery for every 4th or 5th day" but i hardly listen to music or take pictures

hey gus plz tell me if u use a 1gb memory stick do u face any problem, coz i got one card corrupted and when i replaced it the new one is also not functioning well, can anyone suggest a solution or atleast diagnose the problem

can anyone explain me FLASHING BIOS. is it recommended if yes then which bios, should i update my phone using update service of the phone, does it help.

yes the phone has night mode still the picture quality is not super fine.
and for imaaz the mobile sounds really good and if u can buy walkman earphones its awsome.

1. no u cant put passwords for the files
2. its always recommended to charge any appliance using battery when it discharges, but the point is with a mobile phone u can need it any time and since k550 has a single slot for charger and earphones u really nee to charge it anytime u dont need the mobile
3. buy the m2 memory stick from any shop but plz buy a one with warrantee as it might just get corrupted
