Many of them told that keypad is difficult to operate.Yes i accept it.But when you use crystal case with keypad(silicon cover),then it very easy to use the keys.Crystal case with silicon keypad is available in the market.Then why are you waiting?

SE K550i is better than K750i.Since it has no joystick.But K750i had always problem with joystick.Moreover K550i looks great when compared to K750i.My sugesstion is to better go with K550i.

Simply superb
The phone is very slim.When compared to the features of this phone with W810i,it is more or less similar.There are only two functions are missing,one is night mode(camera) another one is megabass.But it is worth for money.

Those who are using K550i. Has your phone ever hung up? And does it support word and exel and pdf files? Please comment.

oh and by the way, this phone does heat up at the top when making long calls. it's not REALLY hot, but definately very noticable.
i also reccomend that you flash the bios with the w610i's software as it really increases the functionality of the phone. (i

I think this is a great phone for its price. K750i is a good phone too, with better cameras, but everyone I know who uses it develops a joystick problem after a year or so. Otherwise I would have gone for k750 too, why buy a phone with a known defect?
K550 is sleeker, faster, and the keypad is not bad at all. I have dropped the phone several times and so far, no scratches. The battery is great! It lasts me almost a week.
Everything is a personal choice. Neither k750 or k550 are bad phones. It just depends on you which one you like better.

dear SIJO!
Ur screen goes all black after about 30 sec. to save energy, theres nothing strange about that.
I miss a "restmode" clock too, but if u press any of the volume buttons a clock will show up.

My K550 got nothing written about the made in country. Why it is like that. Is it duplicate ?. I bought it from a small shop. Not an authorised dealer. Is it a problem ?.
I got a warrenty card though.
As I said earlier its performance is not good too. The persons who replied for my earlier opinion has not mentioned their names. I too getting the alerts, but I am talking about the point when the screen goes dark, not when the wallpaper is visible. I tried to update my software over the air. After downloading is complete when verification of downloaded package start it says verification failed.
And what mode you select when update over internet. Is it phone mode or file transfer mode? Any body please explain the step by step procedure to update the software over internet please...

i got this fone a few days ago, and i think its fab
only problem is that i am used to big and bulky fones and im scared of having it in my poket in case it snaps or sumthing.
can sumone please tell me if it is solid, or do you have to take extra special care of it???

this is a great phone for it's price. when the screen cracked on my w850i i wanted another SE phone and this one turned out to be better than i thought...
i missed the walkman feature of the w850i and looked about on the net for any modifications i could make to it. turns out it's inner workings are almost exactly the same as the w660i which means that you can flash the phone with the w660i's software enabling the internet button to activate the walkman 2.0 software. the only disadvantage of this is that opening the lens cover no longer activates the camera but that's fine as there's a camera button on the side. i bought a 1gb sd card and now i have a cybershot walkman phone!

k750 takes alot better pics than k550
