Hey ppl! Can anyone suggest me on deciding whether to buy a k750 or k550 when my prime concern is the 2 mp camera?

Screen Resoloution 176*220 at 256k colours and 1.9 inches that many pixels in 1.9 inches it will be very clear 240*320 pixels 256k colours but at 2.3 inches bill also be clear

i dont think u can compare these 2, k530 is a 3g phone, k550 isnt.

Recently bought this and it is a really great phone.
Pros - Great Camera (Nearly as good as K750) with lots of photo editing features such as cartoon mode, good looking phone/slim, very fast, brilliant screen (far better than 6300)
Cons - D-Pad is SHARP, be warned!!!, Feels likely to scratch easily, camera cover doesnt feel that durable and will probably wear out after much use (Test models in shops are pretty loose)
The keys really aren't that bead, in fact since they are spread out it is easier than most phones to hit the right keys. As I said, its the D-Pad that is the problem.
All in all Id recommend the phone for its features although the design won't be too everyones's tastes. In heinsight I wouldve probably bought a W810i as Id be less worried about scratches and problems with the lens cover breaking.

Main disadvantages:
* Low resolution display
* Camera not as good as the Cyber-shot brand suggests
* Records video in ancient QCIF resolution only
i dont understand how it has a low resolution display since it has such high colors

theres something wrong with my fone,,
after much care for only 6 days, my camera wont work anymore..:( it just dsplays the message that another application should be closed before i use the cam, but no applications were on..:P sigh.. its so disappointing.. i dont know wat to do... i tried to let the store that i bought it from do something, after 2 days, they said i should just wait for the upgrade..
then i had it upgraded in an SE shop, and the prob was still ther..:( waaaahhh!!!:((

If your deciding between the K550 and the K750, I would definitely go for the K550. Why? It is much more newer, slimmer and much improved look, and better resell value. Although the camera on the K750 may be better, the K550 is definitely worth it. Also look at the W610, around same camera as K550 and has the Walkman 2.0, different look but slightly more expensive.

has anybody bought this phone from the carphone warehouse on pay as you go. if yes does it come with a memory card cause i read somewhere that it does but others say it doesnt.
Also what is phone like compared to the w810i?

Hey neetu i would choose k550 instead of k750. I'm using this phone & i'm very happy with it. The difference between those phone is one of them has more features for k550 one. It has track ID which means it can record few sec of music from sources such as a radio. Then it transfer through the internet to the music database and returns to you with an artist, album & song name.
The other feature it has a flight mode function which limits the functionality for use in place where mobile transmitter must be turned off, e.g. airplane, hospital.
Also the style is more appealing than the k750 one. The k550 is thinner aswell.
The camera is 2mp resolution which shares the same resolution as the k750 one.
Overall if i were you i would definetly go for k550 one.

which Hnadset is better. Sony Ericsson k 750i or K550i in terms of camera ,functions and looks...... plz tell me fast . just have 1 week to decide

i would suggest the k550i or w810i, because of the joystick. i had a k750i and the joystick gets stuck. if it has a flat button joystick then its fine. otherwise the features are the same.
