How can I activate voice dialling and hear caller's name. Each time i try to recort my voice, aim told record in quite environment.

1) go to Contacts, choose the post u want to edit, click on More--->Edit contact, now u use right navigation key(2 steps),
scroll down to Voice command, Add, Wait for the tone(u CAN hear it without headset, but use the headset anyways!!!), then u save it.
NOTE: when u wanna use voice command to call u must press a volume key til it says "Plz say the name after the tone", unless u use Magic Word function

i just buy only,Rm730.
i bought by trade in (k700i-rm200) and buy M2 512mb togethermjust pay rm650.M2 stick rm120,this phone so nice ,so good!but don buy white colour,will so dirty later,coz this model cant to change cover casing,somebody tell me why calling record no record?maybe is me wrongly setting!!!!plsss tell me why ????10s

Jezus Afaque...OK i usually dont get upset over opinions, but i have to reply to this one. My advice to u Xan is this...go to the store and test the phones for yourself for an hour or so :)
1- Is the sound quality really very bad?
Ans-- K550 and W810 is basically THE SAME phone, the fact that its not a W series just means theres differences in color sets etc.+ u have direct access to player, which u have anyways once u started it on the K550.
2- How is the camera quality compared to W810
Ans--Same answer here, if anything K550 is better than W810 , its got lens cover and blog function. wtf u want to zoom for, if u do zoom, u zoom DIGITALLY and worsen the picture...for Gods sake its a phone not a digcam.
3- Can we make video while flash light is on? YES it can, just tried it...but...still not a digcam.
4- How's the performance?
Ans--Well, K750 is a fine phone, better camera(focal length-hence thicker), but that joystick is shit, K550 is a modern phone, i suggest u go to the store and test the differences.
5- Is every K550 have that creaky back cover?
Ans-- Mine isnt creaky at all, and ez to remove/reattach. Ive read that the W810 has "creak" problems too btw...

Thank you very much for your valuable input everybody. Due to your negative views I no longer wish to purchase this phone... But again i need a new phone and I will go for SE... So can any of you suggest me a SE phone which has a good camera (as good as w810), good design and ok sound (my w810 is supposed to be a walkman phone but it is not as good as new walkman series I think esp compared to walkman 2.0)and also one with track id feature

Answers to your q's

Ans-- Yet it is, nothing comprated to a W810, especially when this is not a W series !!
2- How is the camera quality compared to W810
Ans-- Horrible again, W810 lets you zoom in 2meag pixel mode, K550 desnt.
3- Can we make video while flash light is on? This is one thing you can do in W810 and thats a great featuer.
Ans-- Its does not makes video in 2 mega pixel mode.
4- How's the performance?
Ans-- Couldnt risk the money, hence didnt buy it. From what all seen, K750 much better.
5- Is every K550 have that creaky back cover?
Ans-- Mine did have, not easily movable.

Ayman --- This phone does have auto focus, but unlike your 810 yo cannot zoom in or zoom out in 2 mega oixel mode. Trust me that is very annoying. I let go of SE for that, its cheap but not good enough.. You need to try the Moto roker. Its Pretty cool.

I have SE W810i and thinking of giving it to my brother as birthday present therefore i am eyeing a new Sony Ericsson... The design of this phone looks nice but do you guys think this phone is any better than w810? i read one person's post who complained about the camera quality? cmon guys help me out...

Well, thats ez as apple-pie! Just connect phone to your comp with the USB cable, press OK for "file transfer", when u do that your comp will identify the phone as another storage unit, so normally a popup will show where u get choices of wat to do: copy content, show content, do nothing etc. If u dont get this dialogue box, just treat it as another hard drive and paste the picture files from phone unit -----> comp

Well,i bought this phone a week ago. At first the keys seemed awkward, but they really aint.
Phone feels really solid, not that plastic feeling u get in low end phones. Id say u get very good value for money. TrackID is so cool :)

Its a horrible phone, trust me i have been the biggest SE phone fan, but this is dissappointing. I know the prce is less, but the phone is not good enough for anything. The sound is not clear, you cant zoom in 2mp mode, not worth it at all. Keys not comfy either. I think K750 is way way better then k550.

cool set.good camera,music,style.button is nt user frndly specially for chatting, writing fast is a problem.the speaker is behind the phn wich reduce the sound when u put it normally.also the zoom isnt enough.but after taking a pic u can zoom quiet a bit.all in all good. but nt best.

Can anyone tell me wheather k550 is a EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps compatible set.The specification doesn't mention it in here.I need the information asap to buy the set.Please help me out.

The choice is very clear, go for the k550...
It has 2MP Cam, Slim design, no extra mechanicals like slider, has good music abilities... GO for the K550i

the design of phone is very good and brillant.
photo camera is very usefull but sometimes has a some unexpected zoom disadvantages.
phone has a good performance when connect to the pc, if you connect to pc, phone start to charging.
web browser of the phone could be more good but it is funcitional.
i bought this phone 4 weeks ago and i put the charge only two times, in this 4 weeks i took 36 photo with this phone and play many müsic if you buy the phone it will work the last power of his battery.
menü is good and very usefull. k550i has not different melody type for different profiles.
it is absolutly good and usefull phone for your budget...

but how do you get pics off your fone on to the comp ....
