to Ryan - the loudspeaker is sufficient but cannot be compared with the loudspeakers in the walkman-series.

to theshark - in Sweden it does not come with a memory card at all. You have to buy that seperately.

      Hi All,

What is the loudspeaker like on this phone?

I like to use my current phone (6230i) as a radio sometimes, is this phone going to be as loud? I've noticed SE's are generally quieter but i've also heard this ones quite loud.

      So, anyone have any ideas?

These are the exact words used on the detailed review of the K550i on gsmarena.com.
"Then we noticed the fine print, the camera designation that’s it. It says the focal length is 3.8mm, while the focal length of the older models is 4.8mm. It seems that in order to fit in the thinner body, K550 has a smaller sensor, which is expected to produce lower quality pictures.".
Live photos of the phone on this site also show the focal length as 3.8mm.

However, when i read another review of the same phone on mobile-review.com, the live photos of the same phone clearly show a focal length of 4.8mm...which leaves me wondering which the correct focal length according to those who have already bought the fon....over to you.

Well...for all those who might have a problem with the w610, k550, w810 for lack of a flash and only the two LEDs that cannot take good pictures in low light conditions, you can buy the MXE-60 flash accesory. This gadget can be plugged into the charger port and the phone recognises it as a flash, and gives you the option to use it.

The K550 most definitely has everything one can ask for. The looks, the features and the price.
I think this is also what they felt at SonyEricsson, which is why they couldn't let the phone be too perfect. That *must* be the reason why they decided to ruin the keypad, because I cannot see any other reason. Or was the cost of the plastic too high to make larger keys?
The keypads for the new W&K series are for me the biggest mystery in long time. I hope the heads at the design department will roll.

                      InNoCeNt^DeViL:
i have seen the K550 pictures and i can say you're right, it's very sharp and natural. and even in ISO 200 the pictures show only small dots of noise as compared to the K750 pictures seen at esato.com

SE does it's job very well, hope to see the autofocus being standardized at all series=D.

                        To Putte

                        Ohhhh !!! Come on !!!!

I said b4 and i ll say it again....Camera is betta than k750i..... i have taken the pics in sunlight,in cloudy weather inside the house etc etc........Hmmmmm!!! i have noiced one thin that its night mode is not that goood.........i mean if u r taking pics outside ur house ,even if u r using the night mode function then still the pics will irritate u a little bit........honestly speakin k750i and w700i both of them were also not good at this ......only w810i is good if compared to these in takin pics at night outside..........

Heyyy !!! i dont have much xtra tym to prove any thin.......But beleive me its much betta than k750i........Hmmmmm!!! 1 reason is may b its screen has a very good and sharp resolution than k750i so may b thats why i feel that it is taking good pics .......and it also has some xtra options in camera mode such as twilight landscape etc etc ........

now if ur really very touchy for camera then pls go 4 N-73 or k800i

Camera is not only the only thin .......

i told u that its shape is really impressive....

k750i has a smaller screen.....while it has a bigger one........k750i i think is a little bit heavier than this.......its screen is not as sharp as k550i......its slimmer.......and afta all k750i is a very very common set.......its position is almost like 6600.....its very very common...even my guard is havin it.........lolx.....pls don mind......

                        its my advice 2 u that u should go 4 either w810i or k550i not 4 k750i or w700i.......

                        wait a minute.....

i have just transferred ma pics to my pc......

hey they r great .......clear...sharp ......giv me ur e-mail i ll send some pics if i ll get tym

                        ok???????

                            Here's my question

                            1) Is the phone call volume loud enough to be heard in busy streets ? I don't mean loudspeaker, i mean the speaker which is just on top of that "Sony Ericsson" word.

                            2) Is the keypad hard to press ?

I've been using this phone for a week and must say that reception is not as great as w810i,why? i dont know. reception goes from 1 to 5 bars back and forth all the time in places where w810 gives you steady 5 bars.
Battery is very good, everything else is fine.

I found a 3GP converter (from 3GP to avi) at www.myk550.lasyk.net. Works fine. If you want to make your own themes then there is S
E:s own theme creator on the same site.

The whole purpose of a cybershot phone is to have the xenon flash. Reason why I upgrade from w810 to k800

To Putte - gsmarena used a beta version of the phone in their test. That is probably why I for instance think that my phone takes better pics than in the review.

How can the gsmarena say that the camera is worse than the K750i and you say its better. I would like to trust you then you have had a K750i. The K750i taks really good pictures and you mean that this one takes even better. Do you have any pictures taken in sunlight?

How can you prove that the camera is that good as you say?

Finally you really think that K550i is much better mobile than K750i?
