Definitely get the K600. The 3230 is bulky and slow. While u may have expansion memory slot, the software is laggy and buggy.

I agree about the ringtone volume - it is almost inaudible in anything other than a home or office environment - the joke is that it warns "loud ringtones could damage your hearing" and then is barely loud enough to hear in the street!!!

I found K600i is having very low ringtone quality,check yourself. Select any ringtone and change the volume, you will find that ringtone volume remains the same.Anyone knows how to increase the ringtone volume for file type as mp3, aac, amr, wave, midi.

I think 33Mb is enought for this phone, it's not an mp3 player or digital camera, if you like to listen music RDS radio is perfect for that, 3G and other function makes it very nice and kind a cheap phone for me...

Yes Sony Ericsson K600i has 33 MB and doesn't have memory card slot!!!

Yes K600 uses Mp3 as message alert ring tones and for the other query about 3G its the next generation of data transfer over mobile phones like GPRS (2.5G) , provides video call, video and audio streaming and a very fast speed of upto 384Kbps.

friendly tip for those having trouble with ringer volume. try downloading audio editors in the web (e.g. wavepad) and have your mp3 ringtones amplified its volume then try it in your phone. it is as loud as a noisy mono-tone cellphone. :-)

im just curious... is the operating system for k600i available? because I had my k600i repaired due to bugs in its OS. After one call it suddenly shuts off and wouldn't turn on. the cell shop said that they're still reformating its old OS to a new one. I hope they know what they're doing.

to nick..i dont know if its ok to tell u , asus v66 has the mp3 used as ringing tone..and the best stereo mp3 so far.. i tried most ericssons cell has great ringtones sounds..mp3 as well keep up..
