    TWANG

just go to downloads.com and search for wavepad audio editor. after downloading and installing it in your PC, plug your K600i using the free USB cable, search for the mp3 file in the phone memory, copy it into your desktop, right-click on the file you've copied into your desktop, click edit with wavepad. if you want to amplify the mp3 output just click in the wavepad program "edit" in the menubar and click "amplify". then select either 300 or 600 percent. after editing the mp3 file save it then go back to the desktop where the file has been saved. right click and copy it back to your k600i. its very simple actualy and the wavepad program has plenty of benefits like morphing and editing different audio formats.

          mp3 and bad volume tips:

i figure out how to increase the volume of K600i by amplifying each mp3 clips using wavepad audio editor program. you can download it for free at www.downloads.com

by doing this your mp3 clips or full mp3 music can be heard very clear. my ringing volume before was level 8 and it seems like in level 4 even if i adjust it at level 1 still thesame output. until i made an experiment by increasing the amplify gain percentage by 300 upto 600 using wavepad audio editor, my phone screams like my old K750i. you should try it cuz it helps hearing your phone rings louder.

          I LOVE SE

Depend on the users.if users said can buy in RM1000 in malaysia with SE K600i is very ok mean this 3G phone is quite good cos just buy for the 3G service and not for the MP3 player.if want buy the mp3 player phone better buy SE W800i.If want the 3G phone with memory card just buy nokia 6680 a bigger size phone.

This phone this one of the best for it's price, it has everything and only a quarter of the price. It's stupid buying a $1000 phone and worry about every time you take it out. The 2 main flaws in this phone are the memory which is small so the mp3 player dosn't come in handy, 2ndly the key pad design look pretty bad but hey it's a awsome phone all round 8/10

A good and effective strategy of Sony Ericsson.

they didn't include memory slots because it would increase it's value. SE's strategy is to penetrate the market with state of the art phones like K608, k600i, etc. that is affordable to everyone. it would beat Nokia's 6680 and N70 because it is sold at a higher price. Like K750i it is sold cheaper compared to N90's or other 2.0 megapixels by NOKIA. SE is not dumb. they're aware of the lack of memory slots, that's why they provided free USB cables enabling users to transfer photos to PC with ease thus compensating the memory of the phone.

How do I increase the volume of the ringtone? Even when set at the maximum, the ringing is barely audible! As a result, I've got lots of missed calls!

Sony Ericsson is a very cool manufacturer of mobile phones. very innovative, trendy, funky, and conservative as well. I bought my K600i last Friday and it's an awesome phone... its my 35th phone by the way. from philips...motorola...nokia...ericsson...eten...samsung...and finally back to sony ercisson. yup! my last sony ericsson phones are SE T68i, P900, P910i,and K750i. i sold my K750i because the value is so high that i can still buy the new K600i and saving $150 (Php 8,000) to my pocket. yup it was worth it. ehhehehe. don't have to brag about K600i's specs cuz you all know about it. just wana share to you my experience with sony ercisson.

i don't know if i did well, but i just bought a se k600i and sold my k700i which was an excelent phone...well i did that change because of the 1.3 megapixels, umts and the better screen quality...but i'm having doubts now, the k600i internal speaker isn't as loud as the k700i and i can't find an update service for my k600i anywhere...does anyone know if sony ericsson is going to provaid that service??????
well on the other hand, the k600i desing and camera feature are awsome and the display is very bright and clear...also the 5-way joystick is very precise...the phone feels very solid...for a very good price...us$224

                                to aurash,

the video recorder is probably set to 'for picture message' in which case it takes short cideo clips (for sending via picture message). To change it, when in video recorder go to 'settings' then 'shoot mode' then select 'high quality video' then you should be able to take videos for as long as the available memory permits.
