i have this fone for a week now, and all i can say is WOW! this fone is the best that i've had. for the price and features alone, this fone is truly a winner. the screen has the best resolution i've seen. as for the battery life, it usually lasts for 2 days (with extensive use of the multimedia) which is ok with me since my nokia fone has the same battery life. if i have to buy another fone, it will surely be this one!

The Phone is marvelous and deserves any compliment y compare it with nokia 6600 LOL it ily records 9 secs of video but the k700i records upto 50 minutes and has more iternal memory and longer voice recording> But I have question to the users oif that phone,
I tried trasnfering MP3's and for some reason it doesn't transfer it takes about 30 mins and than just stops how can i fix the probem I am using PL-2303 USB

LoL ;) ur so funny man. well its been 1-month 4 me while using k700 so i dont know whats gona happen in the next mont but my friend if ur not satisfied with this battery as no one is :) then u can buy 110mAh battery for ur fone i know that will help so take care and bye

Had dis phone for almost 2 weeks.Da moment i bought dis phone, i knew it was worth every penny.Dis phone has great features at an optimum size.It has a great camera for a VGA of course.Somehow i disagree wif wat ppl say about da battery.Dis phone could last longer than my old E365 wif heavy usage of Bluetooth,MP3 n Radio.But da best of all is its user friendly almost rivalled to Nokia phones

i have had this phone 3 months now and biggest problem is the fact that the battery could not hold a charge for more than few hours after using for 2 months it dies constantly and i am not only 1 with this fault i know 2 other people with same phone and same fault. sony said and i quote i should only use offical sony ericsson products to charge their phone well duh wot the hell did they think i was charging it with for god sake did they think i was using a set of jump leads or wot.

i am use k700i phone i think on of the best phone i like his shap and his comera rssult and unlimited movie function is very good and his ring tons very good befor his phone i am use 6600 and 6230 but i like of lot

hia GILANG well its like this if u r not satisfied with ur battery u can replace it with the 110mAh and it will solve ur battery problem so check it out buddy, and yea abt the mp3 song files well hehe u can compress ur mp3s by using a good compressor otherwise jetaudio 5.0 will help ( i have been able to compress a 5mb mp3 to 986kb) and now my cell is having almost 25 mp3 songs using upto 37mb space and 5 themes, 7games, 98pics, 1video and 68ringtones. so what else do u need cam pics? then u can delete any of ur file to make space for that but still its more than enoughso tc all and bye see u

I just purchased this phone on valentine day, replaced my old n6610, it has everything, almost perfect, my biggest dissapointments are 1)No expansion memory card, the memory size very small for me coz i like to transfer mp3 files and videos into the phone 2)Very poor battery life, mine only can work for one day for mostly using mp3 and radio 3)Average video quality and noisy shutter camera 4)my pc suite software can't connect my phone from my laptop by using bluetooth but can using it for transfer files manually without pc suite software 5)Sometimes i feel, the phone operation is slow and the button is hard to press, but this is my subjective problems. Dun think about it 6)Can't using mp3 for messages tone. I Hate it. Stuck by available tones.
However, despite these problems, the other features are awesome such as mp3 player and mp3 ringtones, bluetooth and infrared, good camera, simple, solid look and elegan design, bright and crisp display, good and loud speaker, small and compact design, etc. So, overall, i am satisfied with this phone. I reccomended it to u who boring with other phones. The best phone i ever had.

Heya Peeps!
Newo from Australia here. I have had my K700 for quite a few months, and am very impressed with it. Makes a great buy, great features, shop around for a good price.
I've noticed a few questions, some relating to the battery. Sana is right; you should charge the phone fully before use as it lets it gain its proper charge. You should also let it run down to minimal charge before recharging, as it aids in battery longevity. I know if the battery is a Ni-Cad, they should ALWAYS be fully discharged before being recharged, but with Lithium-Ion's I am not too sure if they suffer the memory effect like Ni-Cad's.
Also, when you normally charge, it is also a good idea to turn the phone right off. If that is an absolute 'no no' then do that once a week if at all possible.
I dunno about Bluetooth headset for radio, but if you can get hold of an old PHF, try playing around with it so it can be plugged in but not have a whole lot of cord so you can listen to the radio.
To my knowledge, only stock standard SE tones can be used for messages, which kinda sucks. I also tried a WAV file which didn't work, but it was directly ripped from media Player, so maybe that is why.
Yes the k700 is a speakerphone, just have to activate the function during a call.
I think that was about it.

I really like the K700i, although the battery doesn't last as long as Nokia (which I had previously), also I think the fascias are harder to change, but apart from that, the features are great!

hiya guys... if the battery isnt good, it all depends on how the fone was charged up when u first get it.. if it was charged off for the first howeva many hours, u should never have a problem with it.. if u have problems with the battery, run the battery propa down so u cant even switch it on, then charge it fully for atleast 10 hours off... see if that makes any difference to the battery life.. if not try it a couple of times, and u should have ur full battery life back...
