hi everybody.recently i changed my samsung e700 to sonyericsson k 700i.i found that the k700 is the best phone i ever used.with the high quality ringtone, screen resolution, the fm stereo,mp3 player i think k700i are the 2004 best and affordable phone and u cannot get all the functions from another brands.you should try sonyericsson products.!!

I think the phone is great. The 41MB Memory makes the phone cool. But you guys should try and improve on ur battery strenght.

to Dominic; Hi, I want to correct your phone listing since you wanted to list really good phones, and i'll pick only E1000 and 6630 from your list. Here is the list;Moto E1000,A780,E680,A1000,MPx,SE S700,V800,P910,P900, Nokia 6630,6670,7610,6260,Sharp 902,Mits. M900.

Even though quite alot of people like the K700, I don't think that its very trustworthy as a great phone. I mean, the battery is so bad, and when I looked at the size in magazines it looked really big but when I saw it in real life well it was much smaller thank goodness which is good. It feel horrible too, too plasticy, and 41 mb isn't alot to store mp3s (up to 10 with no more memory to do anything) and other things. And have you noticed that Sony Ericsson's phones aren't compatible with other Nokia phones? Nokia can download more games, ringtones, graphics, etc. and don't hold a good reputation. And who cares about Quickshare? Its almost useless, and the joystick feels like its going to break and has a mind on its own. The only thing good about this game is probably 3D games. If you want an all-round great phone, go for the Nokia 6230, 6600, 6630, Samsung D500, Motorola E1000 or V3. Take my advice for it!

Over a year now I have been looking for the perfect phone for me. Last week I got my... SE K700i Before I even put on the phon, the look, the feel it was Luv. All that aside the battery life really suck 1 dy max! and I have been reading this review for months now... so I did not use it at once and for a week and let it run down and charge it for noless than 8 hrs each... I am thinking about upgrading the sofeware from sonyerricson websit (but I don have the cable) or sourcing a 110mAh battery.. any suggestions

I red your solution you gave for compressing mp3 files by using jetaudio 5.0. I found downloaded the 6.1.3 version and did not find the way to compress mp3s to a smaller size format. Can you help by and tell me how do you compress mp3.

I was a great fan of SE until I bought this phone. Everything disappointed me, starting with the poor quality plastic case and ending with the battery life. The signal even if it showed full, the conversation was often interrupted. After 1 month the joystick failed ans the SE service can't repair it. The battery if reaches the half indicator means that you must charge it immediatly. The specifications are cool but the real product is as lausy as possible.
