Great phone with loads of great stuff. Had a few problems, now on 4th k700i. but all sorted now. battery is a joke, meant to last 350hrs, the most i got out of it is 30hrs with hardly any calls.

Hi, got my k700i and a dcu-11 cable i can send pics in my phone but wodering wat software do i use to send mp3s and is it sound editor but tell me how to use it thanks sfa safe sfae safe!!!!

I have just bought dis phone, and as far as i have seen, it's the BEST!!!!!.
one thing i'm however missing out in dis fone is that i don't know how to load music into the mp3 stuff. CAN SOME PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DO DIS USING INFRARED OR BLUETOOTH BCOS I DO NOT HAVE A CABLE WITH MY FONE. thx in advance

The Competitor Motorola E398 sounds better, This phones audio quality is low!!!
Moto E398 is better!!

I'm sure if someone has that much money to buy K700 would have chance not to drink juice and rather buy Bt, I bought it for cheap price

k700i wow! mint phone i love it recomend it to everyone,the picture quality is brill and you can video for ages i was testing it out it recorded for 1 min 10 secs and i ended up stopping it i thought it was going to record for ever and crystal clear loads of effects with the camera ime buzzin with this phone, i bought the o2 x3 had it a week and sold it bog standard cheap crap and a pain in the ass to get around(do not buy the nasty o2 x3) i just wish i bought the k700i first

have been reading this forum for days, trying to find the answer to the question: nokia 7610 or se k700i.
Read all the reviews I could find and then went to the shop and played with both phones. The final decision was based solely on price. I have to note here that I still posses n7650 and although it's rather old and rather big, I still very much like that phone.
Playing with phones made me realise that although much improved, n7610 is not really that different to my n7650 to justify spending yet another 300 pounds for it.
So, I decided to bite the bullet and buy k700 after only ever owning nokia phones before, and...
I didn't regret it :-)
I had a chance to play with t68i before and although I loved it back then, it being the first colour phone and all, I didn't like the fact that some of the most common telephony-related functions, such as texting were way to slow.
Well, those days are gone now! The firmware is snappy, the user interface is logical and very nice to the eye, especially when viewed on the k700's phantastic display.Texting is a breeze (although the keyboard is a bit on a small size and the individual keys feel a bit stiff at times).I particularly like the feature where the caller photo ID not only pops up on the screen when there's a call, but also when the same people send you a text message!
MP3 and radio are just great - I have about 8-9 songs on it and I change them every couple of days, but since radio is really good, I actually use those songs as ringtones and people in caffee bars certainly give you looks of admiration when your mobile rings blasting some latest charts songs!
The reception is very good - everyway: on the telephone, the wired headset, as well as on my BT headset.
Had no problems whatsoever transferring pictures, ringtones, songs between my mac and k700. The OSX iSync application is not the brightest star in the sky when it comes to synchronising contacts, but I still need to try doing it on a Windows box, using the SE's native sync application.
My firmware is older R2A something, something, so I did encounter the problem discussed in the forums that the phone complained that I needed to erase text messages, since there was 'no available memory' to receive more, although I still had about 3MB left. Nothing that upgrading to the latest firmware version shouldn't resolve. I just need to force myself to go back to the store to have them do it for me, but honestly I'm still enjoying playing with the phone so much that I almost never not have it in my hands :-)
Another funky feature is using the phone as a remote control for my mac - the cursor is guided by the phone's joystick when controlling desktop and I can even use it with iTunes when playing songs.
Some themes are very cool, especially the animated ones, but even the still ones look excellent due to the phones's high resolution settings and beautiful screen.
Sadly, the camera (and video recorder), although rich in features (frames, night mode, flash light, effects) is still not as good as the camera on my nokia 7650, which is now something like a three years old phone, but comes near it when the pictures are taken outdoors, in bright light.
Personally, I cheated a bit :-) - I used pictures taken with a 4 megapixel camera, and downsized and resized them to be suitable for caller photo IDs, thereby preserving the clarity and richness of detail offered by megapixel cameras as opposed to VGA ones.
Downloaded a number of java games, transferred them using BT and opened and used them on the phone without much trouble. I especially like Hugo series of games, since they're kind of rich in movement and colourful graphics.
My only gripe with this beauty is the battery life - I sometimes need to recharge it twice in 24hrs, but then again, I do play with it now all day long. As far as I understand, the firmware upgrade should also partially deal with this issue too.
Conclusion-highly recommended (as long as your phone charger is not much further from you) :-)

i pitty you all, my friend who has a k700 rellies on me to get new wallpapers and new mp3 to download on his phone ,while i use a moto e398 with data cable dont you'll think S.E are taking u for a ride
