Does anyone know how you can use different providers. When i select for example vodafone and want to use optus to send an mms but the setting in the message server don't change and still have vodafone settings. Can someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!11

steppe eagle; in my opinion, it was just your luck to own defective units.. i own a K700i and there has not been a single problem with it... Perhaps we should check out the supplier...

I had problem with my phonebook when it dissapeared, but after I took it to Sony center they upgraded the software and its fine now. They only drawback after they upgrade the software is cant silence the click sound when taking pic unless I am in silent profile.

does the latest firmware R2L001 (smth like that) has also that problem, that phonebook numbers are disappearing when inserting a new one???

i and my friend have used 3 old SE 65, and all of them suffer from defective loudspeaker and buggy software..from the feedback on this site it seems that SE handphones still suffer from the same problems..i like the k700's front design, but its a little thick and the joystck cumbersome, the memory is limited, bla bla bla....in comparison all the nokia phones i have used suffer from none of the above problems...its very frustrating when an expensive and supposely state-of-the-art handphone hangs frequently

I have recently bought k 700i the problem I am facing is that the battery is not that great and secondly the phone hangs up right in the middle of conversation and I have to remove the battery to activate the service. Anybody know any remedy for this?

i just brought the phone 2day its a great piece of technology got to tell u that the in built fm is not that loud its not even louder then the N6230 and mp3 player also the same not very loud but louder then the fm the camera unbeatable just very good the video recording is fantastic the video doesn't break when playing the recorded file the phone looks much much smaller then the pic in the site i would tell people to go for the sx 1 its a phone to have i have both the k700i but i regret for buying it but its good phone with camera that can't be beaten thats all i would like to receive information reagarding the sx1 how loud is the mp3 player while listening on the eraphone and how is the firmware is it stable at firm ware 13 doesn't it shut down often at firm 13 just let me me know guys my email is le_cutte@hotmail.com

The first color mobile phone I've ever had.
Have been using it for about 2 weeks.
Really like its design and features.
But the video camera is not so good.
Overall, I like this phone so muuuccchhh!! :)

use to have a cell phone like this and i Me Also have a problem with phone books. When i tried to View n Edit new numbers in phone book some of old numbers get lost.....Any solution?

had some problems with bluetooth.. while trying to send some things to antoher bluetooh phone.. Sometimes the phones get a black out.. you only see a white screen..thats really annoying...you got to restart youre phone..Also the phone can me really slow sometimes..

Yeah-not too happy with this phone at all....
I had a nokia 6230 handset previously- a much better phone.
Problems: The in call volume is far too low, if I am outside I can hardly hear the caller.
The video camera 'picures per second' (or whatever!!) is much less than the nokis meaning that the videos are jerky and the video volume is non existent.. hello silent videos!
Limited memory- the 6230 takes SD memory cards meaning really scalable... sony is limited to 40 meg..
Menus can be jerky too...and the joystick is a pain.
The camera cuts off the screen, and the pictures cant be rotated until they are moved..
Battery life is terrible..
Screen is nice though.

Anyone else have any problem using the zoom on this phone's camera?
I've only just opened it so it might just need a charge.
