giving up? people can be a bit stupid really, but hey we wouldnt be people if we werent stupid. this phone is the bollox. No question - a quality phone.
people will always moan - as you said, i dont buy a phone to play mp3's on it all day - for a start the battery will drain by the 3rd hour. this phone has good memory, quality cam, radio, bluetooth, and just about every feature that youll ever need on a phone and its a SONY. what more you want?

For those who think K700i have too little memory for your mp3, get an Ipod. It's a pity if u people are giving up the K700i just because of mp3.

I am so happy with this phone, I went to teh shop with my sister to print pic from our cell phone, she got nokia 7610 and when we print the pics in 4R the results is much better in K700. I am so happy I bought this unit!

I don't want that my phone is a whole night MP3 player, and it is simple, if phone has a MMC card it is very slow.

I like the k700 but it has to little momory, if it had a MMC slot it would be the best.. but what is the reason to buy a phone with mp3 if the memory runs out... I prepoase NOKIA 6230 because it has MMC slot and it runs over the larger dicplay and flash light..

Can u use the mp3 adaptor on this fone like on the t68i n t610? using the external memory card u cn av all da tracks u want withe a big enuff card! =) cus thos b possible?

I have the K700i and I am totally in love with my phone! I thought NOKIA was the ultimate phone but this K 700i proved me wrong!

yeah dude ..i think you got ripped off....anyways i love to screen on this phone....the colours are just beautiful . i was using the 6600 previously and appriciate what a phone of this size can do. sorry to say this..i only like mitsu cars...i dont really trust their electronics as i had bad encounter with thier tvs and audio players

I took to the digital print shop to print my pic from K700 and from my nokia 7610, apparently when they printed in 2R the result is the same but...when they did it in size 4R the pic from Nokia 7610 was not very good, K700 was better when they showed me the pic in 4R. But actually the pics for those 2 phones maximum size is only 2R.
So I guess why I spend too much money on Nokia 7610 if for the same size pic K700 is good enough or similar result with Nokia 7610?

Yeah i agree wif unknown... do u think ppl are forking out the money juz to buy those stupid concepts? Wat dual front, connecting ppl, those are just gimmicks tt cheat customers of their money. The gimmcks are crazy also, obviously out to earn extra $$. Mitsubishi, on the other hand has no gimmicks. They win over their customers by providing quality after-services(nokia sucks)and quality goods wif no bugs at all. So Kel, u think SE is better juz becos it has a gimmick such as 'dual front'? haha I'm now trying to contain my laughter man. I think u will really keep your mouth shut when u see a REAL Mitsubishi in action, and not by hearing rumors abt how exoctic or bad Mitsubishi is.

mitsubishi will soon be gaining some market if it continues to make good fones such as M900. rite now the M350 is slowly gaining popularity... due to its userfreindly ness and cheaper price than nokia and se.... se got alot of bugs and slow interface, so how can u say mitusbishi can't fight? think b4 u say, i think its bcos u've never seen a mitsubishi phone in action b4... my friends who are using samsung and nokias were all marvelling at my M350 when i took it out... for mitsubishi, the design is oso not bad. user interface is also superb, and there's absolutely no software laggin. if coupled wif mp3, bluetooth, 2mp camera, i c no reason y M900 can fight. So, think b4 u say such comments, kel.

somehow i dont get the problem you seem to have , i dont know why and i recommennd XP is a better program to sync with this phone

Hi,
I switched over to K700i just 2 weeks back after happily using Nokia 6600 for more than a year.Now i am facing a lot of problems with the K700i and service from Sony. My Problems:
1) On the third day of my purchase the set suddenly started showing "Searching" continously, i contacted the retailer and he took away the set saying "its a manufacturing defect". I got another set after 10 days(dont know whether its a reconditioned one or a new one (looks new atleast) but definitly the EMI no. has changed), the new IMEI No. is 35400800-037487-1. Its only few days i am using the set, my set frequently shows "SOS calls only" while i am sitting in my office, but my Dad who sits adjacent to me in my office and has the same service provider never faces a problem. So many people tell me that you where out of range and its pretty difficult to get your number(while i am in office), but never ever i faced this problem with Nokia 6600.
2) Some problem in the PC suite also, as no icon appears in windows for File Manager, so any images i have to download from the mobile to PC,i have to send them one by one manually to the PC. I have windows 2000 sp4 and IRDA
3)The screen saver in the phone does not work if set to show Images(the image never appear in screen saver mode).
4)There is no way i can put the screen saver off, either the screen goes blank , or it shows time, there is no option to keep it showing wallpaper, signal strength etc.
5) Ocassionally some icons in the menu disappear and then i have to restart the phone to correct the problem.
All in all i feel this set has so many bugs.
If sony can provide me a solution for these i shall be grateful, otherwise i would not be able to use Sony for another 100 years.
