7610 supporters,
Dun bring the K700 and 7610 together, they are targeting on different consumers, the price of 7610 and K700 is also a great difference. How about comparing the 6230 with SE S710? The S710 is going to give a hard kick to 6230.

I dun think comparing a BMW 3 series to Benz E-class is fair.

why is tat you guys keep using the 7610 and compare with this phone ? you should be using the 6230.....unless....the 6230 is really crap that you've gotta use a diffrent range phone to compare with it...

you cannot compare the k700 to the 7610 they are a diff class of fones, but then you need to look at the home page here SE kicked Nokia's ass when comparing the S700 to the n7610 what a shame!!!! ha ha yet another quality fone from SE well done

                        7610 points...
1/ Symbian software - great - but you'd buy a P900 if you wanted something comparable
2/ 1 Meg camera - if you don't think that - at least at this stage of development - that all phone cameras are mearly toys for teens - then you've got no idea what 'quality' is.
                        3/ Games on a phone - get a life...
4/ Classy design - well, that's your opinion of course....
5/ oh, and the small fact that the 7610 is at least 50% more expensive than the K700
6/ the 6230 is really the logical competitor to the K700, as the price point is similar - shame about the crap screen, REALLY crap camera quality (as opposed to the K700's mearly crap camera quailty)
7/ sure the K700's battery life is crap, but I'm always near a charger at the end of the day, so it doesn't annoy me tooo much
8/ K700's memory is dissappointing, but 6230's MMC is not really easy to use, and if you've ever tried using Nokia PC Suite you'd know what a waste of time that is

If I had the extra money to blow on a 7610, I might buy one, but as it is so much more expensive it doesn't really get considered for buyers of the K700. It's no use comparing an expensive car against a cheaper model - they're for different buyers with different considerations, and for me the K700 is superior to the 6230 at the same price.

So what if one is symbian and one is not? Why does that automatically mean that they can't be compared?
I think what decides if they are comparable is the fact that they are both geared towards the same kinds of people. They features that can be directly compared - mp3/video/photos/games.

Ok, my last point - I think the 7610 is superior to the k700 becauase of:
1)2 years worth of releases of symbian software to customise it.
2)1 Megapixel camera (yes I really think the quality is superb)
3)Nokia Ngage games are playable (I would compare these to Gameboy Advance quality an d speed.
                            4)Classy design (debatable, I know)

I believe the customisation aspect makes up for any negatives, as if you don't like how the built in 'realplayer' - you can get something else to play media. The phone certainly has a fast enough processor (130Mhz?) to run video/music well. Same applies to alarm etc.

Those are my reasons anyway. I'm not interested in mp3 playability - as I don't think that is a real issue in any case - how many mp3's can you put on the k700? Even if you put the '10' that someone said they could - you don't have much space for anything else! (photos, themes, games etc!)
So I think that is a irrelevant aspect of the K700.

I'm sure you'll beg to differ, but you must agree that the reasons above are good enough to choose the 7610 over the k700.

I am willing to debate anything!

More bad things in review who Blokia guys don't know about it?

Nokia still does not accept the fact that the alarm clock is the most important feature of the organizer. Hence it's the only part of the Clock application in the Extras folder. Still it is not repetitional and single days when it should alarm you can not be set.

Voice recorder can make up to 1 minute long records. You can listen them, send them via Bluetooth, e-mail or MMS. File manager is very simple, it does not display system files. I recommend you to download some freeware programs, e. g. FExplorer. By the way, there are no games installed in the phone.

Nokia 7610 still supports GPRS class 6 only and 3/2 timeslots. Nokia is presently the slowest from all top-class phones and with its GPRS speed it can be compared to the cheapest handsets.

                                    – No radio
                                    – Mono audio player
                                    – Slow GPRS
                                    – Nonstandard memory card

I think FireFly don't know about some Nokia 7610 better features like a "good quality" MP3 and crushing system.

I think Blokia guys don't know to read, it is written in this site on review

The Real Player application plays MP3 files in a very poor quality and skips sound almost every second. The integrated speaker has no bass and the headphones can't be connected to the phone. The sound quality can be improved by using some special programs, e.g. Ultra MP3, but Nokia 7610 is almost useless as a MP3 player without the headphones. Tough luck - many people are waiting for this feature.
