I own a K700i about 2 weeks. I have never bought a phone before from S.E. I have always had phones from Nokia and Siemens.
I spend 350 euro for this device (Greece) and i am glad i did. It's the best phone around.I done my homework pretty well before buying it.I read many user opinions and reviews, but you can never be sure of something unless you see it with your own eyes. 41MB of free memory, camera works at 160x120, 320x240, 640x480, 1280x960. 1280x960 isn't that clear but good enought. button and joystick respond is very quick. Also has very good loudspeaker and you can't miss a call except if you are in a club or something. Very Stylish phone with a lot of functions. I thing it's the Best phone at the market today

WEEZER, yes you can replace the ringtones and download new ones or transfer mp3s from your pc to the phone. To transfer from the pc you will need a cable, or you can buy a bluetooth adapter for your pc which allows to wirelessly transfer files. There is a really cheap bluetooth adapter at this link:

The web link below stated it, "The K700 supports 40 polyphonic voices"

but can anyone tell me whether all the preset ringtones in the phone can be replaced with the one I like(download, mp3, etc).

u cant use home theater when u r walking on the street !!! jesus !!!
SE k700 cant make zoom at 640X480, but i dont care that much about vga camera.
I wanted a phone with integrated mp3 player and, believe me, the quality of mp3's in moto earplugs is amazing.

I agree there is lot of phones on market but you have to consider each one of them has some faulty thing.

to be honest...you cant enjoy music or sound on earplugs..if u want nice sound..at least use a headphone...u want bass ? use speakers or home teather systems...

                                Actually i do :)
And i bought Motorola E398 and im good with it. Sound quality is very good, vga camera doest its job and the rest of the phone is actually surprinsingly nice.
I dont wanna carry with me both a phone and an mp3 player.
I tried listen to mp3 player on my ex nokia 3650, but sound quality was pretty bad, no bass.

                                  To Maical,
If u want a good mp3 player then get an ipod or somethin. or just delete photos or whatever. i know that for an mp3 player 41mb aint that much, but u dont buy a phone for its mp3 player do u?

                                    alex33... r u talking about ringtone volumes
i think its very loud when i use mp3 ringtones especially when i choose metal riffs.
max volume level is 8. But i cann't choose more than 4. Otherwise poeple start staring at me on bus or train when phone rings.
                                    cheers

Well I was just telling that in quotes, I can hear well T610 but if you are on the street and it is heavy traffic than you can't hear it. Some melodies are fine, they can be pretty loud, but some melodies are soft. Anyway, I think it is bad idea if phone has exchange memory, I had a SL45i and it was always slow when using MMC

K700 have 40 Poly ringtones, right? Can all of them being replaced by new/user-customised?

what is the space taken for call recoding(say about 5 minutes?)
