for "unknown" who replied to me, out of interest, i would just like to know what, in your opinion made the k700 a better phone and i will see if i can persuade you to favour in the nokia 7610, and for whoever said that the k700 is smaller and lighter than the 7610 its beacause the nokia 7610 has a mega pixel camera so requires more space, has symbian which can download proper computer programs and everything and can even play N-GAGE games on it, and the symbian and series 60 programs would take up some room so that is why. the k700 may be smaller, but the N7610 is better

I must admit, I was a SE Fan boy before I bought a Nokia 7610. I've had the T68i and T610 and throughly loved them. But I found them to be lacking in application support amongst other things.
I have bought a Nokia 7610 over the k700 and don't regret the decision one bit. The picture quality is superb and of digital camera quality on the screen. Application support is exceptional - with over 2 years releases of Symbian software (As opposed to SE going from mophun to java etc etc - i.e. not making their mind up). I can even run ngage games on it!
I find it much more versatile and the size - small enough to consider. The design is pretty nifty too.
So.. if a SE fan boy prefers the 7610 over the K700 - what's the verdict?

7610 is huge ..people would be saying i have a refrigerator in my pocket...the K700 is smaller...and about video all those crap..please..use a proper device..the quality of vids and pics on phone are nonsence...utterly rubbish...i've had a nokia and i think its a overpriced piece of plastic...only people that have used a SE would know the beauty of a SE .

More...i can store more than 10 songs in my k700i...i just encode them to mp4 (aac) 80kb, and they occupy less than 2 mb each, with good STEREO quality. Very simple, it´s enough to use in the gym or in the street, when i need more i use my yepp mp3 player.

Does the 7610 have STEREO SOUND???? Is the 7610 available to conect to the pc only with the dongle software, without needing any stupid blokia software??? no Is the 7610 bigger and heavier than te k700??? yes Does de 7610 have radio??? no So you see blokiafanboy, it isn´t perfect and there are people that don´t give a s.... about it :)

i agree with "unknown" , the message below this, the nokia 7610 is much better, it looks so much better in real life and the phone is very stylish and if you look at the grid menu on the N7610 and compare it to a SE K700 menu, the K700 looks like a menu for babies, very undetailed, the nokia 7610 is much better and the battery life is MUCH longer than the k700 and the k700 doesnt have a memory slot so u cant store that much stuff on it and if u brag about the k700 to video capture until memory runs out, WHO CARES !? because who would record something that long anyway ??? im not dissing the k700 but im just sayin the nokia 7610 is better, but people are entitled to their own opinions, but for someone who wants to buy a SE K700, just look at the nokia 7610 in real life and read some reviews, not opinions, PROPER REVIEWS and u should definately go for a nokia 7610.

"Look at Nokia 7610.. is damn awful! " - it seems that N7610 is like a real nightmare for you - you know that N7610 is simply far better than k700 and you just can't stand it

I agree with blake...he knows wat's going on in the phone industry....I personally have used quite a number of phones..different brands, Nokia picked up No:1 spot when phones were made affordable, especially when they have games in it. They bought them cos of the games. But for technology ericsson/SE still leads. Look at Nokia 7610.. is damn awful!

to Armi... i guess u haven't seen this great phone k700i with ur our own eyes, how pitty. I aways hang my k700i around my neck. Guess how did i do that?
i think i have done pretty much research before i bought this phone.
for those guys if u want ur phone for just mp3 then get moto398, but if u want ur mobile to do much more things get this baby , it's a killer.
GX32 i guess only good thing about it is only the cam quality. U can only use bluetooth for its handset. What is that??
nokia 7210 - well here is the story. one of my collegue bought yesterday n brought today at the office. This damm thing is so much user unfreindly he was so much bg whole day working out with his new phone. mp3 is not that good and i think u can't use mp3 as ringtone

Sharp GX30 don't have bluetooth and you can't attach MP3 to profile, Nokia has some really bad quality (if you make more phones, you need to do something to lower quality)

to all you guys out there who are thinking of buying the k700i i have just one thing to say ,,, " GET IT " its the best phone in its class... the memory is enough the camera is great and its easy to operate,,, you cant go wrong. i have personally always liked SE since they have come out,,, i think nokias are throwaway phones,,, being a phone dealer myself i know howmany come back for repairs ,,, nokias are loosing the plot ,, they were great when the mobile phone industry was just pickin up but at the moment they are freaking bad. .. we have reps from every comp come in to introduce new phones to us ,,, and i can assure you nokia is playing catch up to the SE technology.. apart from that their phones are ugly.
so for yous who think nokias are better think again ,,, SE i here to stay and will keep kickin ass ..
cheers
take care
