First of all, in doing anything, camera, video camera capturing, playing games, the K700i drains the battery quickly.. Please visit the mobileburn.com website and read the K700i review okay about the battery problems? Can anyone even admit to me that about the poor quality of the 4x digital zoom the fone gives?? It can be done only by lowering the pixels? Well whats the use of the digital zoom then? To make things sound better, K700i is an old product and the K750i which i have to admit is a better version.. So for those owning the K700i, up to you to trade it now or for buyers, get the K750i than this one as its an outdated fone..

    Hey,former k700i user.it's a good thing that we have this so-called freedom of speech in this independent country of ours bcoz the sound of you in your opinion made me think that you were annoyed w/ this product.why?bcoz of the many features that gives you inconvenience?the irritating sound when taking pix?the not so clear image of the pix?what else?So,you are a nokia user now!N-Gage QD in particular,ryt?Oh,i figured it out now,you were annoyed not bcoz of the reasons mentioned above but i guess bcozz of the price difference,ryt?Oh,do i pity you.But wait,maybe you just have to wait for the auction coming and buy yourself more of the nokia fones.What do you think?

      I made a mistake bout da QD nd it not having MP3 player it does, however that still dosen't make it better than the K700i,the k700i has all those features (apart from expandeble memory) plus more , and it will last longer than the QD, if used appropriatly, so 4 doez Nokia Lovers dat keep cumming and dissing SE, ur all rong, Nokia come up with their cheap crap fones, not knowing what to do next they make different looking fones with the same features, SE IS BETA DAN NOKIA! :)

        hey,people out there concerned.i was just wondering why u guys have to complained re k700i not having its memory card when in fact the moment u purchased the unit u are well informed by your dealer that it doesn't have one,right?unless otherwise?????u just don't have to buy it then,right?

          Also "FormerK700IUser" u sed da k700i can only send pics nd ringtones thru blutooth, bruv do not cum on dis web site spreading lies, i have sent many pictures, ringtones, mp3's, videos and other files and you have da nerve to lie?
          Nd u cannot only send it to a pc u can send and recieve from ova fones with blutooth.

          Nd bout da limited 41mb space...that may be a little small, but thats why they created file size compression, i managed to fit a total of 20 mp3's on my K700i becasuse of the file size converter nd i still had space 4 pics, videos etc...

          Nd u sed da battery lyf rnz out fast wen playing games, datz anuva lie, all of dis happened 2 ur k700i, not k700is overall so stop lying.

          Nd lastly da unsmartest thing u sed, "wen playing games on da QD, da battery lsts longa dan on da K700i, well DUH! Da QD was made 4 playing games, datz da onlee gd ting bout it, so how is it betta dan da K700i?

          N e wayz u sed da it is cheapa dan da K700i, its cheapa b'cos its less quality nd not as high standerdized as da K700i, so nxt tym u wanna diss SE plz get sum facts!

            Firstly FormerSEUser, the Nokia N-Gage QD, is by far much more worse than the K700i so stop spreading lies, secondly the features on the K700i are not how you described them.
            Sure it makes a cheap shutter sound when you take a picture but how is that embarrising in public places? Many people have the phone, and also that sound can be turned off by setting it to the specific profile also.

            Next about the Nokia N-Gage QD, it dosen't have a camera so you cannot record or take pictures of those memorable moments, it dosen't have mp3 player (i don't know why Stupid Nokia gave N-Ggae Mp3 player nd took it away from the N-Gage QD), so you cannot listen to your favourite tunes on the go (unless you have a walkman, mp3 player, minidisc player etc) and another thing it only has 3.4 internal memmory, now it might be able to use memory sticks but lets just say you didn't have the money at the time? You would have to deal with such a small amount of memory...

            The k700i sold more than the N-gage QD, because of all the features thrown off the QD from the original N-Gage therefore its quiet clear to see Nokia do not know what they are doing.

              I am using this unit for 4mos already n so far not a single problem encountered.so i guess,u have a fone at it's best.

                Louzy fone.. Guess that Sony E need to learn from Nokia how to make fones. Design and hardware quality of the fone is done well.. But when it comes to using the fone features, it is all unusuable or irritating.. I owned this fone for 2 months and happily traded it for the N-Gage QD,
                a great symbian os powered fone.. At first i was impressed of this fone (K700i).. Got radio, mp3, bluetooth, stereo sound, cool design and 4x digital zoom.. Wow!! The best fone eva!! Well NOT!!!

                Pain part of this fone: To use the 4x digital zoom for taking photos and recording videos, you need to lower the pixels and why is that? In the end, you would be having low quality videos and photos done by a zoom function (well its better not to use it at all then).. Worst of
                all, you are limited to 41mb of memory and there is no expansion slot for photos, games, videos and mp3. You can only transfer pics and photos by the fone bluetooth function and transfer it to
                the pc via a bluetooth dongle.. This all drains battery and wastes TIME!!! The battery life drains quickly when playing java games and playing mp3 or radio via the speakerfone. My N-gage plays mp3 and games for hours n i have no complains about low battery. Worst of all, when taking photos or shooting videos with this fone, there is NO WAY you can mute the shutter sound.. And
                why is that?? This makes users of K700i to feel shame when they are doing so. Nokia fones have NEVER had this kind of pathetic feature in all their cam fones.. SE always wants their product to look classy and showing so-called quality business like feature.. BUT, they provide all the inconvenience to all users as much as possible when the features are used..

                For ppl going to buy this poor fone: DO AVOID!! The best alternatibe is the N-Gage QD. It is cheaper than this unusuable fone and have features that are non-inconvenient, unlike this one. The QD is also the cheapest smartfone at the moment. Symbian OS programs are always available and
                upgraded by programmers so you will have the thrill to use the quality programs.. The battery life of the QD is also long. You can also get symbian program Ultramp3 to install for playing mp3.. How great?? Can this fone (K700i) do that?? Haha.. No!!

                A previous forum posts states that the K700i reception is also horrible. Another inconvenience?? Well i am not surprised to know that.. It's a Sony :)!! Avoid this fone at all costs. Never trust a SE product.. Shame on them.. Thank you for listening..

                  Pls, can any one tell me why I cant copy all my contact 4rm by laptop 2 K700?when i synchronise, only 10-13 contacts are copied to the phn & it says synchronization completed.

                        i think that is for a reason. and all i can say is that it goes down well for that Mathews guy who tells someone else to "do his reaserach" and "know his facts".
                        well to be honest i could not find a single fact he had gotten right. just an immature SE fan boy raving on about something he hardly understands with his rather thick skull... just try and decode wht he says with his dreadful writing and you'll know what i mean.

                          yeah i'm from jamaica i just both the phone a week ago & so far it's performing well i have no problems the phone is beautiful i'll advise everybody to get one if u can afford it. and the nokia 6230 is practically the worst camera phone ever although when the phone rings its loud and clear but sony ericsson riles whose with me.

                              Really Nice phone, had it for about 4 months, many useful functions...Bluetooth, Infrared (though not much used), Mp3 Player, Video Recorder, It would have been a perfect phone if it had a card slot and at least a mega pixel camera...But one thing is for sure, I LOVE SE.

                                huzzi, dint u c how i set "Noka4eva str8", Nokia "were" the biggest leading fone brand in the world, howeva, wen SE, introduced da 1st eva camera nd color screen camera fone bakk in 2000 (do ur research), 3 yrz l8r (2003) SE became da biggest leading Brand name in da wrld, so its a tru fact dat SE r Currently, nd always will b betta dan Nokia!

                                Nd u say no ova fone brand has 2 cameras, m8 ur on a fone web syt nd ur tryna tel me u havent seen da Motorola E1000, now dat may not b an SE fone but u sed dat Nokia r da onlee brnd wit 2 cameras, well m8 i proved u rong dere...

                                Also u sed dat Nokia hav released da most fones, wot doze dat prove? dey may have released pure fones (wich is a waiste of money) but trus me wen i say dis, most of dem sold badly, b'cos of Nokias problem, dey make 2 similar fones, nd da olda 1 has more features dan da newer 1 y? 4 example: da Nokia 3100 was released afta da 3200 (i had both) so wen i got da 3100 (stupidly without doin reserch, i lyked da look) it dint hav a camera, no infared, no radio etc nd da 3200 had all yet its an olda brand...wotz da point of Nokia doin dat?

                                so "Huzzy" nd "Nokia 4eva" u've met ur match a tru SE fan, dnt go round tryna make ppl h8 SE, wen "WE" all kno SE is beta dan Nokia!
                                Ppl i am not saying Nokia is crap, i am saying compared 2 Sony Ericsson, Nokia is cRAP lol :), so plz do get da SE K700i, memba it is refundable as lng as u dnt damage it, i dnt expect evry1 2 lyk it, but 2 cuss it wen im around...ur not very smrt!

                                  No offence but u r completly rong, just b'cos u hav probz wit SE dn't make it crap, i have bin usin my SE K700i 4 a yr now nd im bout 2 upgrade 2 anuva SE (proudly) aka da k750i.

                                  U say ur N-Gage QD plays games longa dan K770i, well its b'cos dat fones was design 4 games, do ur research, nd dat da battery runz out quick wen u play games nd music, m8 ur rong, bin dere, dun dat nd i dint xperience wot u did.

                                  Also ur complanin bout space, u cn't get enuff music wit 41mb, das y dey invented file size compression.
                                  Nd trus me i guarentee u Nokia is far more dwngraded dan SE, so get ur facts str8, da K700i, is much betta fone dan da N-Gage QD, the N-Gage may hav similar features, but da K700i has more, its smaller, ligther nd is still cheap.

                                  So plz nxt tym Nokia4eva!!! wntz 2 chat speak wit evidence, facts, ur opinins (dat make sense) but dnt boi out Sony Ericsson, b'cos we all kno dey r beta, smarta nd a fasta growin bizzness dan Nokia.

                                    camera quality is not so good in night, but still so cool...

                                        Hmm....About this phone..jus got it three days ago..it works fine for me..even though the memory is abit small..but i can still put more than 10 compressed songs inside!the pics taken look clear better than nokia and panasonic.the ringtone is loud too...enough for u when u are walking in a crowded street...yea..and the quality of the screen look so fine..better than nokia 6230..good work SE!Work hard on ur future coming phones!
