hey guyz i have some questions.
1.Where can i get this firmware???
2.How long does the batt stay alive??
3.I heard that when you choose a smaller pixel for your camera you can zoom more.Is that true??

Am I the only person that is still having problems recieving TXT messages on o2, have had 5 of these phones so far and they work fine for the first 2 months, then there comes a noticable delay when recieving txts, on one occasions waited 3 days to recieve a txt. Have told o2 this on many occasions and they said the problem had been sorted out. Is this a problem that other SE phones have or is it just the K700, cos if it is, won't be getting another SE phone.

well as i suggest a mobile for u...go for SE K 700i or K 750i...these both sets are far better then Nokia's set.
one reason for this the main one ..that SE results are much much better then Nokia's set..

---- ok then here is the thing but it is a bit time consuming and may be anoying but still works..1=make a call to any 1 9reccomended.. to service provider or any free number).2=go to menu .3=switch on camera from the menu. 4=take any picture and there will be no sound. really satisfied of this phone, it has almost all the necessary stuff that nowadays a cell phone should have. the balance between price and quality is stable and this makes the k700i to be a good choice

Louzy fone.. guess that Sony E need to learn from Nokia how to make fones. Design and hardware quality of the fone is done well.. But when it comes to using the fone features, it is all unusuable or irritating.. I owned this fone for 2 months and happily traded it for the N-Gage QD, a great symbian os powered fone.. At first i was impressed of this fone (K700i).. Got radio, mp3, bluetooth, stereo sound, cool design and 4x digital zoom.. Wow!! The best fone eva!! Well NOT!!!
Here comes the pain part of this fone: To use the 4x digital zoom for taking photos and recording videos, you need to lower the pixels and why is that? In the end, you would be having low quality videos and photos done by a zoom function (well its better not to use it at all then).. Worst of all, you are limited to 41mb of memory and there is no expansion slot for photos, games, videos and mp3. You can only transfer pics and photos by the fone bluetooth function and transfer it to the pc via a bluetooth dongle.. This all drains battery and wastes TIME!!! The battery life drains quickly when playing java games and playing mp3 or radio via the speakerfone. My N-gage plays mp3 and games for hours n i have no complains about low battery. Worst of all, when taking photos or shooting videos with this fone, there is NO WAY you can mute the shutter sound.. And why is that?? This makes users of K700i to feel shame when they are doing so. Nokia fones have NEVER had this kind of pathetic feature in all their cam fones.. SE always wants their product to look classy and showing so-called quality business like feature.. And they provide all the inconvenience to all users as much as they can when the features are used..
For buyers of this fone: the N-Gage QD is cheaper than this unusuable fone and have features that are non-inconvenient, unlike this one. Symbian OS programs are always available and upgraded by programmers so you will have the thrill to use the quality programs.. The battery life of the QD is also long. You can also get symbian program Ultramp3 to install for playing mp3.. How great?? Can this fone (K700i) do that?? Haha.. No!!
A previous forum posts states that the K700i reception is also horrible. Another inconvenience?? Well i am not surprised to know that.. It's a Sony :)!! Avoid this fone at all costs. Never trust a SE product.. Shame on them.. Thank you for listening..

Huzzy... are you nuts? K700 why you compare K700 with N91? that is just too far.. look at the date of the phone being released... this phone is last year's phone... helloo??

Serb, you cannot insult nokia like that!!! nokia is the best phone company everyone knows that!!! It has released most number of phones than any other company!!!! and there is a lot of difference in the phones they release!!!!! take nokia 6680 or n91 for example!! does any company have a phone with 4gb inbuilt memory?? n does any phone company have a phone with 2 cams???no!!! the sony ericcson company is not a bad company they are improving!!! but no one can beat nokia!!! n nobody can live without a memory card!! and only 41mb inbuilt memory is nothing!!! so think before u buy n talk!!!!

I own a k700i,and I'm absolutely delighted with it's features.I've always loved SE phones bcos of their designs and their features.But I'm a little bit dissappointed with my k700i cos barely a month after I started using it,it developed reception problems.Now it only has network service when it's close to a base station.Is there any firmware or any solution at all to this problem?Cos in Nigeria there's no SE service center so I can't return it

Hi! i board sony ericsson k700i and im very happy with it...its got a lot of functions its small mob but its got everything u need..good mp3 player,good video recording,pictured,a lot of memory...just everything...4 me its better then some of this new nokia-s ...coz all this new nokia's got fuked up cam and nearly all of them is same quality and everything they just change look of the mob...so buy ericsson k700i and u be happy...bai

heyy i know this is an awesome phone!!!....but i'm trying to pick one, between this and the motorola v3?? can someone help me. I know the v3 it's just the awesome desgin, and the k700 not exactly an awesome design but excellent functions... aight... i wait for answers thx :D

hi all! u can switch off the snap sound when you take photos with k700i by switching the phone to silent mode. easy? this phone is still gr8!

y dun think about s700??? more zoom (8x zoom!!!)only 2mp if compare wif k750 but the screen is more bigger,8 x zoom n all is same!!!

problem with 6600 6230 k700 nokia 6600 and you cannot install what u want it can't read the MP3 and the WMA format and no radio the k700 have not a memory card and 6230 camera quality is very bad than 6600 and k700 so u must buy k750i with the memory card and the radio and the mp3 player and the flash with zoom 4*

you now i have a nokia 6600 and it's incomplite.you can record with the video just 10 seconds.and no mp3 and no radio fm .oh my god i will buy k750i from SE and you shouldn't buy 6600 its very bad and it's very old you should buy k750 or k700 it's coomplite with radio and mp3 player and no limit in video.ok
