What they do is upgrade your firmware, just like you upgrade your XP from SP1 to SP2. Bear in mind to backup all your data before sending in for they may need to master reset your phone before upgrade to prevent any crashes. Normally, it will only need one day for them to do so.

The k700 is obvioulsy better than the k500 due to many reasons. The 3 obvious ones being the k700 having a bigger, hihger quality screen, triple the memory, and bluetooth. The k500 is much cheaper than the k700 so the k700 should be better.

I, i have this phone and i have an issue,when i take a foto to something white or ligther it appears a litle red in the corners,is this normal,Anyone have this problem?

i would like to noe whether i can transfer a mp3 files from my pc to my hp using a usb cable? i dun hv a BT in my pc n i'm not intend to hv one in my pc too,so any idea whether i can send mp3 through da cable?

You are right, but it does not mean a thing when you use a Nokia phone to play wma format song...coz it is mono output...sigh...so, be real!
Anyway, now K700i supports AAC (.m4a) format by upgrade it to the lastest firmware(pls check with your local SE CS dept), that means you do not have to rename every songs to ".mp4" that you compress from iTunes anymore :D
I have tried install max 80 songs in K700i by setting at 16 kps in iTunes, but the sound quality is really bad...just for you guys reference only :P
The best is to set the AAC quality to 124 kbps(mono)/48 kbps(stereo).

mp3 files are better quality than wav? what a load of bollocks, wav is an uncomprised format, there is a reason the files are bigger!

Hi! I bought a k700i recently! It is a great phone! Except that i think the battery life is too short......i keep playing my mp3 songs n downloaded games (after it has been fully charged) and it only lasts for 2 to 3 hours. the manual says that it lasts for at least 4 hours....
To other k700i users, how long does your phone battery last? how often do u charge your phone when there is heavy usage? I charge my k700i everyday and this isnt very cool...

This phone looks amzing can't wait to hopefully get. it what a phone what amazes me is the megapixel camera if though the phone is't a megapixel phone u can't go wrong getting this phone for only £99

Hey ppl...havin probs with wav format?? Convert it to mp3 format. Uve got loads of softwares to convert wav to mp3. Search on Google.
And this is better cause mp3 has better quality then wav n also is muchmuch smaller in size...
