Well after reading all the good comments about the K750i I hate to put a dampner on it but here goes. You see I have had the phone for 6weeks and have been paying for it for 4 months,my first packed it in (forze and didnt start up). I waited with numerous calls to sony and telstra. Got a new one???given and had it for 4hrs and had to send it back as No3 key would not work. Supposed to get No3 phone next week,the way things work with these companies, it will be in two weeks.So if I had known how the service went before I brought the phone I would not have purchased it in the first place.Think before you buy...

i had k750i, w800, and 6270, so i think i can answer your worry.
here in the philippines, their prices vary significantly with each other: k750i the cheapest of the three (P16,00), w800 (P18,00), and 6270 (P20,000). I want to remind you that w800's features is almost the same as k750i. The only difference, aside from the physical appearance of course, is that w800 has a specialized music player(since it's a walkman fone), not like k750i which doenst have, though the sound quality is excellent as and 100% identical to the w800's. (Of course u may replace k750i's headset with w800's since i found out that w800's headset is better.) I admit that w800's orange color makes it cool, and of course the user, but if ur not really into looks, then choose k750i. Anyway lot of people out there find it very stylish and elegant. Regarding N6270, well it's an excellent mobile fone, maybe because of it's speaker boost and 3d effect, as well as the very wide and clear screen; but i find a lot of problems with n6270: the picture quality taken by its camera is not so good, though its clear, the colors are very bright which is a lot different from the actual scene/object being shot. Not like k750i and w800's very precise capture. What i assure u regarding n6270 is its sound quality. When u play a song and close your eyes, it seems as if your in a theatre surrounded by huge treble and bass spakers... simply magnificent.
Of course, let's be frank folks, k750i can never do that. Maybe the only solution to make the sound quality and volume of k750i compete with 6270 is to send each level of the equalizer in their peaks...

Wow that was an incredible answer for that dude, good Job, i really like the phone and i was going to buy the Siemens SL75 but after hearing it freezes and the bluetooth does not work properly i decided to buy the K750i, if somebody out there tell me what more can you do with this baby please tell me b'cause i read also that you can hack this phone, what applications can you run on this phone?, i want to know more because i'll buy it this next paycheck, thanks.

- Seems to me that you're mixing PDA's, Laptops & the recent UMPC devices with mobiles.
- What is a mobile phone ?? It's a phone that is mobile, you can carry it in your pocket and take it anywhere with you, it allows you to send & receive calls, and send and receive messages, this is basically what a mobile phone is all about, and K750 -just as any other mobile phone- do these two simple tasks pretty well.
- You're saying that it's expensive, I invite you to ask for Nokia N90 & Samsung D600 -K750 main competitors- prices to know what expensive means -keeping in mind the pros. and cons. of each model of those-.
- Regarding your "K750 is boring and not interesting" issue, do you actually know that K750 is a mobile phone and not a Sony PSP ?? I assume that you mean browsing the menus is the not interesting thing -oh yeh, I buy a mobile to see if its menu is interesting and gonna amuse me or not ! Safe for being a user-freindly menu or hard to manage one- cause if you toyed with the camera or played the media player for a bit, you wouldn't say such a "useless" comment.
- As for "not making you look smart" thing, I don't know, it's a matter of one's taste, personally, I like K750 style & design and finds it very stylish and elegant, and since there's no common approval that K750 design is AWFUL, then it's just your taste.
- Last thing, if you mean look smart like business men and stuff like that, then sorry to inform you, but you're in the wrong forum, get a Laptop.

why should i get this phone? i mean.. its a good phone i think because it is expensive. but other than being expensive, what other features are good? i was toying with my friend's k750 and its not that interesting, it is a little boring, and it dont make you look smart like other phones. you have to admit that those things are the reasons why you would buy an expensive phone - to look good with it and to be entertained. where will my P19,000 go if i buy this phone?

@doul ive decided to stick with r1b002 firmware and just wait untill new one comes out.
im very dissapointed with r1b002 as all it has done is make the video worse and make battery life a bit shorter i cant wait till new firmware arrives.

Dont know how much it cost but theres the SE MMV-200 Bluetooh media center which will let you view photos on your tv. Theres also the MMV-100 Media viewer but but your probably cant plug that in your tele.

and how much does the bluetooth cost cuz i searched amazon.com and e-bay.com but i didn`t find any bluetooths for pcs at all :(

dude you have not told us where you live. we cant give an estimate price on the phones for you. (paind outright? on a plan???)
to compare pphones, use the compare button in the menue and click on the phones.
to work out a price, Google it.

Since you've already checked your current phone firmware and found it to be "R1BC002", and no errors happened during the updating steps, then you've done nothing wrong, and whatever your phone is behaving/like now, is because of your current firmware properties, any good or bad difference is becuase of firmware change, not the updating steps.

I'm from Cairo, Egypt too.
You can get SE K750 from one of SE Egypt local distributor 2 stores/branches -one in 39 Mu7ammad Tawfe2 Diab st. from Makram 3ebaid, Nasr City, and the other in 98 Mo7i El-din Abu El-3ezz, Mohandesin-, or from any Radioshack store, from any mall-located mobile store, and of course, from 3abd Al-3aziz st.
I recommend to get it from the local distributor because of the valid & trusted warranty and also the price difference is not that high -you can get it cheaper from 3abd Al-3aziz st. but you never know if it's really a brand new one, a used one, or even a stolen one, even if it was new, you can't trust the warranty-.
As for the accessories store, there is one in the 2nd floor in Wonder Land mall in Nasr City, maybe you can find others, but that's the one I know.

Nothing, just get a Samsung D600 piece for K750 can't connect remotely/wirelessly to your TV.

You cant do this. Even when you get permision to connect your phones via bluetooth it wont let you. Your friend can send you things he wants to. If you really just want things with his permission then just look at his phone.
