i am not referring to emergency calls, i am referring to whether the multimedia functions of the phone can still be used if there is no sim card, as some phones forces u to put the sim card in order for the phone to work at all

NO, I don't think that there will be any chance to get that option back, you know, if they were agreeing with/allowing it, they wouldn't have removed it from the first place, right ?!

The "PC Suite" which is in my bundled PC doesn't support MAc OS X, but I have mine for over 8 months now, I think there is a new version available now that could support OS X.

You can almost get Mpegable from anywhere, you can find different versions and builds for it all over the net, it's a shareware, you'll only need a serial to switch it to a full version, just google for any cracks/keygen. site, but it's illegal you know ;)

Are you trying to charge? When you turn your phone off to charge it will do this but is optimised charging.

You can fast forward and/or fast rewind MP3's in the media player.
MIDI's can't be played back in the media player, so they can't be fast forwarded and/or fast rewinded.

N90 is indeed better/higher in video capturing quality than SE K750, it records video clips in CIF resolution (352*288) in MPEG-4 format, so it's way better than QCIF resolution (176*144) 3GP format of the K750.
But even that, the price difference is still way too big/high, knowing that K750 doesn't less than N90 in anything and it has a much more compact size (weight & dimensions) comparing to the bulky N90, and it's also way better than N90 in still shots and MP3 quality, N90 is superior in supported applications.
So you're not that right in your claiming that you'll get what you pay for if you bought N90 -about 2*times the price for additional PDF and DOC reader in a much bigger size ?? I don't think so, I'de rather get k750 with a mid-range professional video camera for almost the same price, or get another model in SE P series or any other professional model with much higher capabilites for my businesses with the same price range-.

K750 doesn't support these files, google for a DOC & PDF readers for K750 from time to time.

It supports 3GP and MPEG-4 video formats.
You can get MpegAble X4 Live or ImToo DVD to 3GP -don't know if ImToo can convert into MPEG-4 also or not- converters to convert your movies into K750 supported 3GP or MPEG-4 formats -I recommend MPEG-4 cause it's much higher in quality than 3GP-, or you may google for any other converter.
You can check this page once you get your converter to know the basic conversion steps -it's for MpegAble-:

it's not fair to compare SEk750i with N90 in terms of video quality, or whatsoever. N90, here in the Philippines, is times two the price of SEk750i. If N90 has the better camera quality, that's supposedly what Nokia promises to the customers who spend a lot of money just to acquire a better handset...
