Hello, pls help me answer this question:
can midi files be rewind and forward for k750??? i know that video, mp3 can be RW and FF but i am not sure about midi files. pls help thks in advance

I don't know, this is something new.
If it was returning to the normal stand-by mode, I'de say that you're holding the power button for too long, but back into screen saver mode directly is really weird, it's as if it didn't even restart.
Contact SE about it.

It would have been even better if its video was CIF (352*288) or QVGA (320*240) -not saying VGA (640*480)-, but we can't do anything about it anyway, "Cybershot" is a still camera brand, not video camera one.

@doul k800i has qcif video but it shud still be gud as it has 3.2 so shud be ok well better than k750i.

try blowing out sum dust and wiggling around the joystick loads then leave it overnight and it shud be ok.

My phone is often difficult to switch off. I hold down the off button for a brief time but often the screen goes black then lights up again & the phone is straight back to the screen saver. Can anyone help me please?

"jack" used to have some lag in his joystick, he just blew the dust out of it and it's no more lagging, try to blow some air on/inside of it -the joystick not the phone-, and see if cleaning it will help.
If it didn't and the down direction still not working, you gonna have to take it to any SE customer care center near your place to have it solved.

You do keep repeating your question a lot in here with the same syntax, which makes me believe that you go to your first posting and copy & paste it without reading other posts -which some of them has your answer-, instead of doing that, just go to your first posting and read all postings that came after your posting, you'll find your answer.
Read reviews about each of these models to get to your choice, though my advice is to remove W550 from the list.

jack,@Doul...please i need help...
i'm a se k300 user and my joystick seems breaking when i am pressing it down. but still, it is not malfunctioning all i'm not a hard presser and i am using it with care but still my problem come. do i need to worry about it? the reason why i beg for your help here in k750 site is that nothing in this site can reply or solve my worries about the joystick. an could you give me some advices regarding in maintaining it's function still good. k750 is also joystick so i am hoping that anyone of you can help me.
any help or advice will be gratly appreciated...thnx in advance

More details please.
If it's scaled correctly with screen resolution and you can see the video but it's blurry, then either the clip itself isn't a high quality one, or you used low settings in converting.
Try to convert the same clip with higher settings and convert it into MPEG-4 instead of 3GP.

- Regarding the battery issue, when I said that it will enhance/improve with time, I didn't mean that its working time will suddenly/magically jump from 3 days to 10 days, I just meant that it's working time will stabilize at the 3-4 working days with normal usage.
Playing a lot with the phone in early purchasing days do drain the battery way too fast -plus that the battery isn't in its best/full working status in early/first working days-.
Use the phone till all the battery energy is drained out -till the phone switch itself off-, keep it switched off, put it in the charger and don't switch it on untill it's fully charged -it will take 1.5-2 hours of charging-, this is the ideal condition/treating of your mobile battery that will give you the best of it -one day or 5 days, depends on the ambers it can hold + how old is it-.

First, it's highly suggested to format the MS before its first using, go to phone "Menu", go to "File Manager", click on "More" and then click on "Format ext. mem."
Now, install the "PC Suite" which is in the bundled PC -make sure that the phone IS NOT plugged in the USB cable when you start the suite installing-, now, go to www.sonyericsson.com, choose your region, country and language, go to "Support" page, choose the model "K750i/K750c" -depends on your region-, you should find something like "USB Cable Driver Update", download it.
Now restart your PC, switch off the phone, press and hold "C" key -make sure to press it very tight- and plug the USB cable into the phone, the phone shouldn't switch itself on -if it did, then "C" key wasn't pressed tight enough- and "Found New Hardware Wizard" should start, in the first found hardware point to the "USB Cable Driver Update" which you just downloaded, for the rest of the found hardware, just point to the bundled CD.
Now, your PC should communicate with your MS -through "Removable Disk" from "My Computer"- and your phone shared memory -through an icon called "Sony Ericsson File Manager" on your windows desktop-.

Yes, it's fully supported on K750, but the videos have to be of 176*144 resolution to scale correctly with K750 screen resolution, other than that and you'll have audio only and no video on screen.

You may try ImToo or MpegAble X4 Live.
I recommend converting DVD's into MPEG-4 instead of 3GP for the sake of a higher quality, just make sure to down-scale your converted DVD's into 176*144 resolution.

dont use the usb cable as it is very unrelible with transfering files, u need to buy a bluetooth dongle around £20 very fast and easy to use.

HI i see that there is not much helpful comments here, but is there a feature where i can play say 300mb movies on my phone- ie a programme that converts mpeg to 3gp. i would apperciate is greatly please ive been trying to find it for 5 months now, no real luck

hi. i just got my k750 recently. very satisfied with it, but i got prob. with file transfering. can please someone tell me how to make the phone/ memory stick been recognized as removable storage in my pc when connecting through USB cable. i dun know how to do it, except by removing the memory stick and insert it to the card slot in my laptop. :(
