I don't know, both protected files -those with the key icon beside them- and other protected files -those with no key icon beside them yet can't be deleted- can be set as ringtones in my device by the regular way, clicking on "More", opening "Use as" and then clicking on "Ringtone".

Try other SIM, maybe something is wrong in your SIM card.
It should auto search for your SIM mobile network, go to your phone menu, click on "Settings", go to the 5th "Connectivity" tab, click on "Mobile Networks" and then click on "Search mode", "Automatic" should be selected.
Click on "New search" from the same "Mobile networks" menu page, it should find it, if it didn't, then either you're in a not covered area or something is wrong in your device internal antenna, or as I mentioned above, your SIM isn't working.

I don't know about Nokia 6270, but what I'm sure about is that the camera of K750 is the best in it's class -2 m.pixels models including Nokia N90 which supposed to be better than 6270-, and the audio quality is better than iPod mini/shuffle and equal to -some says even better- than iPod nano, have you heard about a comparison between a Nokia model with an iPod ??

- Sound quality is already answered -read my answer addressed to "Deepak" above-.
- As for the joystick, I can't speak in general -as actually SOME had faulty units with a joystick that stoped responding after 2 months, but I can't tell for sure how did they deal with it, maybe they were just pushing it hard while it's a soft touch one-, but for me, my joystick didn't act up once in 8 months.

You can , however, turn off the clock/screen saver modes -along with any other thing such as the bluetooth-, create a long playlist, relax in your chair, and the screen will be just blanck as if the phone is switched off, only will consume a small amount of energy for the receiver/antenna signals/pulses, and guess what, you won't have to miss any urgent calls -this way, the play back time difference between this condition/setting and the flight mode won't exceed 30 minutes, and I dare anyone to prove me wrong-.

I'm afraid this model isn't targeted to your working class.
However, it depends on your needed applications itself, you may google to see if there are applications that suit your needs available for K750 or not.

There are 2Gig Sony Memory Sticks being sold for US$98 in the Hong Kong. I tried one and it seems to work fine. Not sure if it is genuine but it does store almost maximum 2Gig as advertized. Songs, movies, pics, files, u name it. Anyone had negative experience with memory sticks? Is there a way to check whether this is genuine? Packaging seems to qualify but not too sure about it.

Can anyone share with me their Imtoo DVD to 3GP Converter Product Key? I tried using the Demo Version but the quality is very poor. I am afraid if I buy the key at $29 it will be the same quality. Sorry, kinda carefull about this as I got burned before when I bought software thru the Net. Turned out its not wat it was advertized to be.

Please somebody help. I just bought the k750 and put in my sim card. All it says i no netw. coverage. It copied the info from my sim card(my phone number) but it has no coverage. What's the deal here!!!???
