Oh man, you're so lucky that I'm still around here to answer your tough complicated technical question -lol, I'm only kiddin :P, no hard feelings I swear, I was just reading some funny stuff and it's still capturing me-.
Yes, you can change the default message alert and set any MIDI or MP3 you like, however, only the first 10 seconds of it will be played -non-repetitive too- unfortunately.

I just saw by accident -before writting my last answers- the new announced K790 & K800, I don't know when those were annonced and published in GSMArena, I just went to check the K610 that "ZZZzzzz" referred to when they popped-up in front of my eyes.
They look fantastically cute -in my opinion based on my personal taste-, with the only difference between them that one of them supports 3G with HSCSD without EDGE, and the other supports HSCSD and EDGE with no 3G support.
Both have a 3.2 Sony cyber shot brand lens -most or almost all sony cyber shot cameras use "Carl Zeiss" optics lenses-, some may have a negative impression about if from the N90, but they do have lots of lens types based on each matrix, and we can't tell which one is used in the up-comming models now, but I'm very impressed with cyber shots, each model of that series always got my interest and got me saying WOW.
But why, why oh why they still have QCIF (176*144) video resolution !!!!!!!!
Such thing can really affect these two wonderfull models :( :( :(

Both "rak007" and "Shibatian" are correct, in some cases setting the phone into silent mode will mute the shutter sound, while in other cases it won't, but it's not as random as it may sound.
It all depends on the country in which you live, you know when you get the phone from one of SE local stores in your country, you get the phone modified for that country laws, even when you go to SE web site to update the firmware you have to choose your region, country and language before anything.
The shutter sound is present to inform/alert the surrounding people that a picture is being taken now -because of person's privacy law-, what really matters is the country government itself, whether it's strict in "carrying out" such laws or not.
You give it a try, set the phone into silent mode before opening the lens cover and take a shot, if the sound was muted, then you live in a spy-free country -:P kidding-, but if it wasn't, then you either have to live with/get used to it, or update the firmware into another country firmware -it will be the same version of your current firmware with the exact same settings and features (and also in some cases the same bugs), firmwares are basically service providers dependant, not countries dependant, since you're still with your current service provider, then nothing will change but those tiny settings such as shutter sound muting capability-.

              Amar
No, the general performance of the phone won't be affected by the amount of the data stored into the MS, whether you have a 512 MB or 1 GB MS full of data, not even with a full of data 2 GB MS.
BTW. you have a very cute name, in english it means (Moon), a sign of the beautiness and calmness -at least I think of it that way-, are you arabian ??

              ZZZzzzz
WTG man, that last info. in the pros. -the pop-up one- is new & genuine for me, really very much so totally deeply appreciate it :D
I'm embarrassed & ashamed to have my phone for 7 months and still not aware of this feature :$
Suddenly what I'm doing here become not useless :)

              agg
There has to be any around the net, just google it.

              Rowinho & nima
No, you can't do so with the built-in remote control feature, just google for any add-on software/application that allow your K750 to control other devices.

              Unidentified
Keep using the phone till it automatically switch itself off, then charge it for 2 hours -while it's still switched off- and after the 2 hours or even less "Fully charged" should be on your K750 screen, if it wasn't, don't leave it in the charger just remove it and switch it on then use it normally, and repeat the steps again and make it your normal/usual charging method, after a couple of times of that charging procedure you'll start to see the "fully charged" message.
Charging while the phone is switched on from both the AC adapter and the USB cable will result in an "Optimized charging" thing, I don't know what it means or what it does, yes it charge the phone but not as complete as it does when the phone is switched off.
Anyway, forget about USB cable charging, it will take zillion of hours.

              raven (again)
Yes, it has video capturing capability and video editing feature.

Anyone face the same problem as me. It never gets 100% charged when I am using the AC adaptor. Worse, if I use USB cable to charge, the max it can reach is like 85%. And the batt gets drain like in a day!

No, rak007. It works for me. When the phone is in silent mode, I do not hear the camera clicking sound. You try again. If it doesn't, I think is a bug

Hi, I have a joy stick problem with my K750. There are times when my the DOWN action of the joy stick just does not work while all aother work fine. After a few minutes or hours the DOWN will start to work again. Thsi happens on and off and is quite a problem for scrolling through functions like the directory. The SONY Service guys tell me that this is because of large amount of data in the phone, but I just have 256MB card which is half empty. Please HELP what should I do?

Straight to the point. The phone is all around great with great options, user interface. Camera awesome for mobile phone. Im a great fan of sms from Nokia phones but this does great too. Here's pros, cons:

                                  Pros:
camera (great), a flash that works best that i've seen so far, flash can be used as lamp "flashlight" (comes in handy), sound, themes, all necessary items in organizer (great), screen (above avg.), cool thing is can use pictures not only as picture ID for calls but incoming sms. I've never seen that in other phones. For that feature go to "settings" then "New Events" and select "Pop-Up" and waaLAAAH u have nice pictures for calls and sms.

                                  Cons:
Joystick was great at first, now problems, some days works fine, others terrible. Sometimes certain directions dont work at all and must be pushed extremely hard. Definitely a fault in this model. Keep this in mind before purchasing cause its quite often. Girlfriend has same problem with same phone.

Other than that, awesome all round phone, If your patient enough wait till k610i comes out.
