@zendrix

W800 is just a bit better than K750 (only walkman function and better media player). I don't think there is a website where you can download the software and flash it by your own (i wouldn't recommend this, it's too dangerous and you can end up by killing your phone). It's good to let it in an expert's hands, it takes only 15-20 minutes to flash it, though you can have bugs after this stuff... And you cannot upgrade it when there's a new software on the market, so you stick with the actual one (better make an upgrade for it before the convertion).

Perhaps i'm 5-10% wrong. Good luck

i have read that it would be better to flash k750's firmware with w800's firmware. how do i do this and were can i find a firmware download site (free download site hehehe). please help me regarding the flashing part. is it like flashing my asus motherboard---using a user friendli UI? and more more thing, will it not damage/currupt my phone by using a firmware not ment for it? THANX!!!

Only Sony Ericsson Is Best Bcoz I Have A K750i With Me & The Digi Cam Is Best Than The Other Nokia Phones..

          I prefer Sony Ericsson.

              Hello...

How to convert .3gp to .avi, .wav? or some other file format? Any software?

Does anyone know any website for this HP to enhance its software?

If the phone stays off everytime you switch it off and don't come back to life again -switch on- untill you remove the memory card, then I think you need to update the firmware and format your MS -since you've already ordered a new one I can suggest that you perform a full format to it before you first use it-, but if that accident happened only once, then it's OK to have such unpredicted random crazy things from time to time -sometimes you encounter random freezes from your PC without a reason right!, it's the same case in here-.

Yes, you can put your DVD's into your K750, just use/follow the settings which "DJblakel" posted couple of pages ago to be able to run and view your DVD's on your K750 screen.
As for your unplayable converted DVD, I don't know, it has to be something wrong in converting settings, K750 certainly support MPEG4 (MP4) format, but with certain/special settings, check your converting settings and I'm sure that you'll find something that differs from the settings which were posted by "DJblakel".

Oh, now I got it, I understand now that whenever you try to voice dial a contact, the phone dial it normally if your order -the contact's name- is loud and clear and matched in success with the pre-recorded voice which you previously stored into the phone for each contact, but when your order isn't clear enough for the phone to recognize and match with the recorded voice which is stored in it's data base, it restarts.
It's a simple problem that requires a simple solution, all you need to do is to update your firmware, to save you the trouple of the updating process, I suggest taking your phone to your nearest SE customer care center and they will flash/update the firmware for you -should be for free I believe-.

They don't call it a "shared" memory for no reason, they call it "shared" memory cause everything has a limited share inside of it.
I used to call it "internal" memory but I found that "shared" memory calling is more specific, cause "internal" memory can be filled with one certain type of data just as any regular memory, while "shared" memory indicates that it can hold several types of mixed data with a limited share for each of them, to allow the memory to hold a fair amount of each type of data.
Anyway, back to your question, the original games that comes with the phone is protected, can't be moved -though can be deleted-, but any new installed game can be moved, just go to Games folder in Entertainment from the phone Menu, select any new installed game, click More, and then select Move to ext.memory.
Now you can move all your new installed games to the memory card, which isn't a shared memory and can hold as many games as you like.

For your second question, in video camera mode click Settings, move the joystick to the second tab, the "Shoot mode" one, and select High quality video, now your clips will go unlimited -till you have your memory completely filled-.

                    jack
"DJblakel" can answer your DVD questions for I haven't ripped a DVD before.

The latest firmware doesn't improve the video quality over R1N035 firmware, the video bit rate has been increased from 9 in R1J and previous firmwares to 15 in R1N firmware, so anyone has R1N firmware installed/working in his device shouldn't expect that R1AA firmware will further improve his video capturing quality, only users with R1J, R1L or previous firmwares will have that quality increase when they update to R1AA.

I can tell that it doesn't use more power, my working & talking times are the same with almost the same using times -same camera shots, MP3 play back time, etc...-.

                    The changes are in here:

1st, the PC Suite should be installed with the phone NOT plugged into the PC.
2nd, The phone should be switched OFF and C key is firmly pressed when plugging the USB cable into the phone for the 1st time after the PC Suite has been installed.
3rd, there is a USB Cable Driver Update in SE web site located somewhere in Support page that should be downloaded.
Now, after installing the PC Suite and plugging the phone into the USB cable, "Found new hardware wizard" should start -if it didn't start and the phone switched itself on, then C key wasn't pressed tight enough-, to install the first found hardware, point to the place of the downloaded USB Cable Driver Update, for the rest of found hardwares point to the bundled CD.
Now your laptop should easily communicate with your K750.

Hay man, I'm so sorry but I think you already noticed that I've been away from this forum and just got back couple of days ago, I noticed your posts when I made that quick review of previous missed pages but I though that you found another one or found the one I gave to you, also I said that I have no clue that anyone is still following this forum.
Anyway, the software is located in the very first page:
                    http://www.themobilegamer.co.uk/free-games-x213-4.htm
It's the forth one with the name of "Pocket protector".
There is NO key locking software for K750 -at least my advanced search couldn't bring me any reasult-, this Pocket protector gives you the ability to store your improtant info. and lock it with a key lock.
Sorry for maybe disappointing you, but it's a method of protection after all, and that's the best I could found :(.

The best thing about the K750i is its camera capabilities. Many Reviewers agree that its camera quality is a lot bettter than other camera phones. (this is true even compared to the Nokia N90).

If you are into top quality camera phones, want stylish design, long battery, smooth keypad, a high quality lcd, and don't mind to spend an extra $100, then the Sony Ericsson K750i is your definite choice.

I think the screen is too small n one should really put one's phone close in order to see something... But, it is quite a nice phone!!!

i would like to know wot upgrading the firmware to latest one does?

                                      does it improve video ?

i know it makes volume louder but does it use more battery ?

does it have any side affects?

                                      wot are the changes?
