lol. yes, how silly. i forgot of this option in Windows Media player (i use a iMac :P)
o well. not to worry.
the program i have provided you with will come in handy alot. not just for conversion of MP3s, but MP4s, 3gp's and so on.. :P.

Nicole , just make sure that the setting on your windows media player are set to convert audio to MP3 format and not WMA(which is the default win media player format) before ripping the cd, MP3 will work in your K750 and not WMA. You are having problems because the format you put in the MP3 folder is WMA.

check your USB ports. mayby if you plug it into one at the rear it might work? try re installing your software? after re install always restart you PC for the install to finish properly.. if none of these work. contact the SE website

the k750i is the greatest phones avalible, it contains everything u need. but 1 problem.....i cant get it to connect to my computer....i have the software but it still doesnt work....

K750 and K750i are the same thing. gd fone i must say. i got mine 4 xmas. i bought a 2GB memory stick pro duo for it. i can hold upto 512 songs but i got 166 on it so far. its so cool. buy it. its a gd fone and gd camera on it

Hi I’m obviously very thick because I can’t seem to do this. What is rip? Does it mean copy? If so I copied a track from Windows media player and I put it into the MP3 folder on the removable E drive. I disconnected the e drive (after getting permission of course) and when I went into the phone it didn’t work. Although it did let me delete it so it obviously isn’t protected anymore. It just won’t let me play anything.
What am I doing wrong?

And I was able to see 3 pages for sony ericsson k750I. and there are a lot of games there but I couldn’t be able to see the pin protector software :( I checked the pages 1,2, and 3. but I had a bad luck as always and couldn’t find the program :( please tell me the name of the software exactly if u don’t mind plz man, and if u can give me the direct link for that software and I will be so grateful to u man. Sorry for this but I really need this software. Please reply to me asap and I really appreciate ur help. Bye and thanks in advance :(

ok.. this sounds hard to explain... LOL but i will give it a go.
OK, lets start with a Test track.
1.open windows media player and insert a CD
2.now only rip ONE song.
3.after you have riped that song. go to..
C:\Documents and Settings\**your account name**\My Documents\My Music
4. open the file the MP3 is in and yes as you said...
5. Drag or copy/past in the MP3 file in you phone..
NOW go to the bottom of you screen near your clock and press the left arrow
6.look for the "safley remove hardware" icone and eject the Phone.
go to your media player in your phone and IT SHOULD play.
if not.. you may have some preblems. like you have placed protections on your windows media player.
Tools>Options>rip music and de select copy protection,
this SHOULD fix the problem as the k750 adds NO protection to files automaticly.. see how you go.. any preblems. email me and il try explain more.. step by step with you.

Hi. i've now got the phone connected but still can't sort the mp3's. think i'm being thick!!! do i put music cd into computer disk drive and then copy/paste onto mp3 bit? i've tried this and phone won't let me listen to tracks and won't let me delete tracks because file is protected. when i copied i undid the read only feature on the computer. need help!!!!

no. not on your PC (unless u have java runtime client and editor) only on you phone. it will ask where to save (games or programs) click where u want it to be saved and then click *start now*

my first k750 was sent back to SE 4 times in a matter of 5 months. each time it was gone for 3 weeks at a time. at the 5th time i asked for a replacement, and they gave it to me. simply because i have had the same continuous problem with that model.

k750 and k750i are just names used for differnt country markets. like the k750 is in the US, and the k750i is in Australia. (correct me if i am wrong) there is no difference.

in the file called "other" in the phone directory.

it will.. just keep it on charge. unless you have a charging problem (like.. it only goes to 68% or somthing) then you have a problem with you battery. if your saying it only goes to 99%, i would say not to worry

have you installed your PC suite software? if you havent you need to install this to work properly.
if you have, and it still is having this problem. try again and then restart the PC before using the software.
to transfer MP3s you need the PC link to work first. then to send them to the phone, open it in my computer, click on your phone drive and open the file called MP3. then click and drag all the songs you want to the phone. simple. but as i said, you need to PC link to be working properly.

Hi can anybody help me? Once i've connected the phone to the usb cable the computer keeps saying "mobile not connected" (although the phone reacts to the usb being plugged into it). any ideas as to what I can do? Also can anybody tell me how I can download MP3 songs onto my mobile. Thanks

@Djblakel, U R VERY Lucky in whichever part of the world U live in as for sunny South Africa, our phones don't just get replaced, they send it away and 2-3weeks later U get back ur old phone, that's hopefully repaired. Oh well, just hope it's rite when I get it back, i'm using my W800i now, but prefer my K750i.

Had this phone for a few months. Was very happy with it, although the joystick tended to play up from time to time. Biggest complaint would be it not sticking to the roof of my car as I drove off one day.
