I have a K750 and i have W800 soft on it and it's like a W800 :))

Hi,
I need help to decide which phone to buy between the SE K750i and Nokia6270.Both have same features by looking at the specs.Cost is almost same for both.
1)which among the 2 has better Sound Quality?
2)which among the 2 has better Camera?
Can any user of both the phone advice me your openion..

It's always better to use the latest driver for your vga\sound card, so as the situation with your mobile.
However I suggest that you live with your K750 for 2 or 3 days first, and who knows !?, maybe you just like it as it is and forget about the firmware updating all together.

You just made my day here.. I will definitely get the K750i now.. I will just buy myself a 1GB card, and just forget the offline mode..
By the way.. When I get the phone. Do you recommend me to update the firmware update 1st before using it?

@DoUL :-) ok!! thankz.. I guess Im meant for the W800i since I really want the Offline options, And I guess I just have to live up with the teen age design of the W800i.
You are really big help here..
Just knowing that these 2 phones have the same sound quality.. So the Walkman logo doesn't really make sense uh?

It was true in the past, now you can't do so.
The new updating software will identify your phone as a K750 device and will automatically call for K750 firmware.

I can't tell you for sure how big is R1AA008 firmware, it's directly loaded into the phone and not stored into the PC as the previous updating software used to do.
I'm on a dial-up so measuring the download time will have a high error\fault rate, but I think it's something between 10-15 MB's.
Only smart phones firmware will reach 65 MB, for it's a complete OS and when they add\correct something they have to replace the whole OS with the new corrected one as patches are not that suffiecient in mobiles software -I guess-.
Anyway, no, the available 38 MB of the shared memory won't change\decrease.

I wanted to update my k750, on sony ericsson site they have mentioned that the software updates for the phones are 10-65 MB depending on model. so I wanted to know that the ver:R1AA008 is of how much mb in size & the most important thing is, DOES IT AFECT MOBILE'S internal MEMORY,I MEAN IF THE UPDATE IS OF 10 MB, THEN THE FREE INTERNAL MEMORY DERICTLY REDUSES FROM 34MB TO 24 MB?

Well just wanna tell you.. Im planning to buy either K750i or W800i.. and YES Ive been reading the previous posting you have.
So is this rumor true.. Can you really replace the firmware of the K750 and update it to a W800i?
Because these are my problems.. I like the design of the K750 but I like the features of the W800i especially the offline mode.
So if you can help me out here.. I would really appreciate it..

Seems that you forget so fast.
I've already talked about the headset comparison, I said W800 one is better because it has a 3.5mm jack through which you can plug another headset to use with W00, where K750 one is better in higher volume levels. Both can be used with K750.
Read my posting down this page addressed to "behind" to know if you still can flash into W800 firmware or not.
As I said before -again-, both have the same media player version and use the same loud speaker, they are equal in music play back quality, only differs in the used headset.

He wanted to tell you to use your phone untill it automatically switch off due to 0 power left in the battery before charging it, and make sure to keep it switched off during the charging. Remove it from the charger after 2 hours, even if it didn't show "Fully charged" yet, and use it till the last bit of power, keep doing that and oneday you'll have the display showing "Fully charged" even before the 2 recommended charging hours.

wait till the phones battary is totally flat then put it on charge for 2 hours and 30 mins and it should be ok.
i dont know y youre phone is doing this but several people have complaned about this the person i bought it from/carphonewarehouse never said charge it for 8 hour when i turned on the phone it already had a bit of battary in it then when it went flat i put it on charge till it said fully charged.also the charger is usally warm when charging so after 2.5 hours if it has gone cold it should be finished.
@doul which is better k750i headphones or w800i headphones.?

Hi all user for k750i ^^ i am facing a problem hope all expert can help me to solve it. i just brought this phone for 2 week ,overall of this phone is cool but 1 thing make me very worry is the charging problem.when i just brought it then the person tell me must charge 8hrs so i follow but after 8hrs the phone still charging,then the follow day n day i charge 4hrs also like that still charging won charging complete.so may i know is that my phone got problem or ? hope get answer from u all ASAP.Thanks ^^
