@ Yoman:
So, about the Memory stick duo, so far which is the preferable MB? 512M? 1G or 2G?
A: it depends on you. if you were to ask me of course I prefer having 2gb ;)

Hi, just got the K750i. A few questions:
1. Is it possible to store a picture for each contact? yes. just go to the person's name on your contacts, click more, then edit contact.. explore it then you'll find the "picture" options.
2. How do I see which firmware version I am running?

Can I use Headfones from w800i?

1. Is it possible to store a picture for each contact?
2. How do I see which firmware version I am running?
3. What does the new firmware from sonyericsson.com (2.2.11b) offer? Is it worth the trouble?
Thanks--

That's because of a "MS Duo file transfer issues from the PC to the phone over the supplied USB cable" bug, it has been fixed in the latest R1AA008 firmware, read my previous post addressed to "Praveen" to know how to update your firmware, or just take the phone to your nearest SE customer care center and let them flash it into that latest firmware for you.
If you choosed to flash it yourself, just make sure that your USB cable is plugged in the phone during the installation of that package to have the USB driver updated as well. When you have it installed restart your PC, during the PC restart perform a full format to your MS -go to phone menu, open the File manager folder, click More then press Format ext.mem.-, it's better to format the MS before first/heavy using, just make sure that you back-up any important data you have in it.
Also, there is something wrong happens when copying songs into MP3 folder which you find once you open the Removable Disk (your MS), as when you unplug the cable some/all of the songs won't be found on your phone for unknown reason, instead, copy into this location:Removable Disk\MSSEMC\Media files\audio\MP3.
Your phone only supports 3GP and MPEG4 (MP4) video formats, you have to convert your video files into one of these two formats -MP4 is better than 3GP- using any converter -there are two major converters MpegAble X4 Live! and ImToo if you just don't know any converter-.
When you convert make sure that you convert the videos into 176*144 or 176*122 resolution to fit your phone screen.
After conversion the files just copy them into the video folder instead of audio folder -which I told you about in MP3 question answer-.

There should be a CD bundled in the phone package, you need to install the PC Suite software from it -if you don't have that CD, you can download that Suite from SE web site from support page-, when you install it you should download & install the USB Cable Driver Update -also from SE web site in support page-.
Now you should be able to access both your phone memories and transfer data into/from them.
OK guys that proves it, PC Suite is needed even to only access the MS.

hmm... currently i am having 1 GB in my memory, and i almost use all of them mainly for mp3 ^_^... still not that enough though.. if you really wanna use it as mp3 then 1GB will be good enough.. i just feel like i want to get the 4GB.... will be great, oh and what a pity for the mp3's user interface.. i love the W800's more.

@Dark_Slayer and Yoman.
512 meg would be plenty for the K750 IMO. 1gig if u are serious and if u ask me 2 gig is silly for a mobile phone. but it all depends on usage. (IE if its all MP3's, Pictures, movies etc. but i think id be happy with a 512 or 1g if i push it :P
oh and for the record. i am keeping my SE sure its my seccond and its been sent away 5yimes in the last 6 months. but im givin this another go.. i just cant find a phone i enjoy using more then the k750i.

Q: What bugs do u mean?
Then the ringtone for sms is only 10s?
Or repeating 10s tone until u press the keypad?
A: I experience some software bugs on my phone that's why I have to go to SE Service Center from time to time to have my software reinstalled. Sadly, I seem to be the only one experiencing those bugs. About the ringtone, it's 10 secs only. non-repeating. after 10 secs, it'll stop.

Q: Why the message for MP3 so short?
can extend?
A: no. who would need to have the whole mp3 song played when they have a message? right?

What is the MS type of sony PSP ?? K750 only supports memory sticks of MS Duo -largest available is 128 MB- and MS Duo Pro -largest available is 2 GB- types, if that 1 GB memory stick that you're gonna buy for your PSP is of MS Duo Pro type, then it'll work with K750, but if it was of other types, then no, it won't fit in K750 memory card slot.
Praveen
Maybe you're SIM card got burned, or you have a certain service provider locked phone and trying to put other service provider SIM card in it, try that SIM card on other mobile, if it worked then it's a software problem -you can get your firmware updated form SE web site, go there and choose your location and language, go to support page then download & install Sony Ericsson Update Service, follow the procedures shown on your PC screen-, if that SIM didn't work on another mobile, then it's just burned and needs to be replaced -it happens sometimes-.

I do actually find that the headset volume is high enough for my ears, even outdoors!.
Both loud & headset speakers volume has been increased in latest firmware R1AA008 by a decent margin, you may check that out if you don't like their current volume level, also you may adjust the equalizer -the first bar from the left is the bass bar, the first bar from the right is the treble bar and the three bars in the middle are mid-range (vocals & instruments) bars-.

Maybe your eyes tells you that it's that good, but for me, the videos that are being captured using K750 are way worse than the ones captured using other models -i.e. samsung E720-.
Listen, still camera specs. are totally different than video camera ones, when you say that a camera has a 2 m.pixels lens then that means that this camera can capture (still) pictures in 1632*1224 resolution, when you say that this video cam can capture videos in QVGA resolution, that means that this camera can record clips in 320*240 resolution. 2 m.pixels lens will certainly capture still pics. in 1632*1224 resolution, but it's way impossible that the same camera will capture videos in the same (1632*1224) resolution, you'll need a much larger lens to capture videos in this resolution.
W900 is indeed a QVGA video capturer, it captures in 320*240 which is the QVGA perfect resolution -I don't know the name of D600 video capturing resolution (352*288)-. You may see the same scenario in both samsung D600 and nokia N90, written in their specs. they they have a 2 m.pixels camera but they only capture still pics in 1600*1200 resolution at max, while K750 has a true 2 m.pixels camera as it capture still pics. in 1632*1224 resolution at max.
I don't know about a SE K800, they didn't announce such model till now, even if they did announce one -say next month-, it'll take about another 6 months till they actually hard-launch it.
