a memory stick is a memory card but it is just the name of the card like there are many types of memory card like transflash,and micro sd.
when u buy memory card for sek750i or sew800i makes sure it is either a memory stick pro duo or memory stick duo pro.
the items u get in the box are:
the phone(obviusly).
headphones.
charger.
manual.
fun and downloads booklet.
warranty booklet.
u will love the phone the video quality is good for small resolution and the camera quality is amazing it is like a digital camera. the sound quality is loudest ive ever heard 4 a phone.
as 4 the problems with memory card i dont know why it is doing it i bought mine from carphone warehouse no problems at all.
make sure u installed the cd pc suite that came in the w800i box to the computer u try it on.

thanks, but what i meant was i need to know the basic difference between a memory stick & a memory card.. in layman's terms pls ;)
& if somebody will please be kind enough to tell me what are the items included in the COMPLETE SET (i.e. headset is included? memory card?) i'm buying the phone from a not-so-credible cheap store to save some money & i wanna make sure i won't be cheated or "robbed" of my money's worth if u know what i mean..
lastly my cousin bought the W800 a month ago & she's currently having problems with ehr memory card, she said it's corrupted & the people she bought it from won't replace it though she has a warranty.. i don't want to have the same problem. is there any way i can check right off if the memory card will work fine without using up the phone's internal memory? coz from how i understand it she's being told that the parts are warrantied only for 2 weeks i think & of course she did not find out her memory card is corrupted until after she used up her phone memory which was like after a month. we tried it on different PCs & it was obviously a problem with the card. she's currently discussing it w/ the store's supplier.
i just don't want to have the same problem as i said so if there's a way to check the memory card right off please advise. i'd really appreciate it. im buying the pk750i in 3 days time max.

Hmmm.. video size is only 176x144 - and it's 3GP ... my girlfriend has Samsung E530 and the video size is 253x288 in MP4 format ... he videos are muchhhhh better ...
Is there a way to change the video recording resolution? (a Update, Software) ?

with 1GB memory stick i can store:
170 mp3 (i mp3 with 50 MB size and 1 with 20 MB size)
201 picture (180 of them are taken by K750 with full resolution/2 MP)
2 3GP videos (only for 5 minutes each)
33 themes
10 games
have 4 applications.
only 15MB left though ^_^

Can anybody help me, there is a problem wit the camera.when i start the camera, it does show the camera's view and setting for like 2 seconds,but then it will back to the menu again. One of my buddies told me that something wrong with connector. It loose or sumthin, i need further information about this. plz somebody help..

top tip:
use the buttons at the side of the joystick to select stuff so the joystick lasts longer

is it true that if u wanna install d firmware on d fone u wud need not a data cable but but a twister like an adapter? ma fone doesnt come on it just blinks only a blank white screen. I sure need help dudes!!!

the differences between k750i and w800i are:
u can switch the w800i off and still listen to music and watch video ,but the k750i can do this if u change it to w800i firmware.
different colors and different camera locations.buttons are similar but the w800i are more for music control.
w800i comes with a free 512mb card.
k750i comes with a free 64mb card.
the headphones that come with the w800i are for music.(stereo headphones).
the headphones that come with the k750i are for handsfree but u can use them the same as w800i headphones.
i have k750i and very pleased with it

check the battary is in properly then check the charger is ok and it fits firmly in the socket.
then use all the battary in your phone till it turns itself off then put the charger in the plug socket and turn on , then put it in the phone after about 2 and half hours it should display fully charged.

Can anyone tell me how many KB can it store:
a)one hundred pictures
b)one hour of video recording
c)five minutes of voice recording

K750i has a very good MP3 player and a super radio onboard.

will charging the battary when it is half full or still has power left in it harm it?
also when i listen to music through the loudspeaker i put it on charge so it doesent use any battary will this harm it?

hey people, shouldn't the phone display "fully charged" when it has finished charging? well i kept my phone charging for 12 hours on the normal charger not the usb cable and still says charging when i plug i tin again. can anyoone tell me wat to do?

The defualt key/code IS 0000 out of the box, you should contact your service provider and the store from which you bought your device to see if any of them had changed it. To save you the time, a master reset will bring it back to factory settings, in which 0000 is the defualt key/code. Just don't forget to back up your data on your pc.
