hey guys i was just wondering if it makes that much difference to update ur firmware, i mean they are more or less the same?

and how to get and install remote control feature on the phone so that i can control my TV/etc. from Cell

i have one problem with this fone, sometimes when i try to view a picture or watch a video the screen goes white for a few seconds and i have to press the 'back' button a couple of times to go to the main screen again where i have to enter the menu and retry to view the picture/video. then it works. do i have to go to my manufacturer and find out what's going on? or u know the cause and how to solve it? thanks,

This is a great phone, had it for a couple of months and no problems, except for one. I don't know if it has been brought up here (I cant be bothered to read over 200 pages to find out) when I try to connect to my Akon HBH 600 bluetooth headset, it connects fine but disconnects after a short time. After some research I found it is an incompatibility issue with the different versions of bluetooth. Has anyone else experianced this, or has anyone found a fix or something for this?

By far the best combo phone out there. The more I use it the more I realize how easy it is to navigate through the functions.. Sound quality on the radio/mp3 is on par with ipods.. Photo quality I have yet to find out since I have not printed any so far.. would be nice if this phone came in a slider format..

Listen, I do believe that people who say "boring" when they see/hear something funny that they are the real boring thing, so as the people who descripe the best mobile to date in its class with "crappest phone ever", they are the real crap in fact. Either they are mindless or simply jealous, I suggest them to grow up and get a life!.

WOW, you gotta be working at Samsung to get a mobile that isn't at stores yet. For GOD sake come on man, "just got" a mobile that isn't available yet and still coming soon !!! Since it's still coming soon and not available yet we can't tell anything about its quality or features, so your post is useless to us.

Hey i have been using the sony ericsson k750 for about 6 months now and i just got the new samsung t809 or d820 on this site and they are both awesome. SE has a better camera and a better battery life but i think the samsung is a nicer phone. Its a very nice design and and the screen is bigger and sharper than the k750 if you guys are thinkin of buyin this phone definately check out the d820 or t809 with t mobile before you buy this phone. O and i have better reception with the t809 but thats maybe bc where i live i dont know

video record time is unlimited in K750. it is not time based but memory based recording. if u buy a bigger memory for k750 u can even record more than 2 hours.

Does anyone know the maximum amount of video time on this phone? Am trying to decide between it and the nokia 3230 that has an up to an hour video time. Thanks

There is no difference between K750 and w800 except for colour and flight mode. Other than that they both are same. Even the Chipset is same for both the devices. BTW K750 is the best camera mp3 mobile available in the market. W800 and k750 cannot be campared as they are 99% same

it works with every phone because my friend has it aswell so dont ever buy it and the mp3 player is faulty and always plays fuzy, and the headphones came snapped,and the camera is very bad quality compared to the w800i, the w800i is a way better choice i dont know why it is just the k750i,

i dont think this is a phone worth getting the moment you turn it on it freezes or turns off. it is defenately a waste of money. they always seem to have a virus with it. the one i personally like is the w800 it is way better and no viruses

I use the phone till the battery completely die -till the phone automatically switch itself off- then charge it -while it's still switched off- till it displays fully charged, then I switch it on again and so on, just as your steps, only differs in that I let it till it completely dies, that works very well with me, if you don't like it that why just return to your old steps.
As I said before, this is the best we can get from recent battery researches.

2 days battary life(standby 4 days)
loads memory u get free 64mb stick
good quality.
it is good phone best out apart fom w900i but w900i is big and fat and not as well made in my opinion.
get this phone well worth it

how do u yourself charge the battary
cos i charge myn when the phone dies/battary goes flat.
i switch it off then charge it until it says charging complete.
but ive been doing that since xmas and the battary seems not as good why?

I'll guide you to transfer into the MS for it's faster and bigger than the internal/shared memory -save the internal memory for pictures and other files-.
Install the PC Suite and go to SE web site and download the USB cable driver update, switch off your phone and plug the USB cable while pressing C key, found new hardware wizard should start, point to where you saved the driver update package then install that update. Remove the USB cable then switch on your phone, again plug the USB cable, you'll notice a small Safely Remove Hardware icon next to your clock, if not found that icon then something isn't correct, repeat the steps again, when you find that icon once you plug the USB cable just go to your My Computer, you'll find an additioan Removable Disk next to your CD/DVD drive, open it, you'll find MP3 folder just ignore it, instead open MSSEMC folder, Media files folder, then Audio folder, copy your songs into MP3 folder which in front of you now. Have fun!.

Simply just get out of screen saver/clock mode by pressing back button, move the joystick to right -ignore the opened application- and press * then move the joystick to left twice then press * then move the joystick to left again then finally press *. click Service info then Software info, the 1st line will be your firmware.

1) The original (games, wallpapers, themes,...) are protected, they can't be deleted, I thnk you're talking about some other data which you installed/copied into your phone, there is no way you can restore them, there is Recover4All for mobiles yet, all you can do it search for that data and copy it again into your phone.
2) No, there is no way to expand them, 30 characters are quite enough I guess.
3) The sound recorder is in Entertainment folder, go there and you'll find Record sound.

I don't know about printing quality, K750i pictures looks crystal clear on my PC screen and I don't have but to be sure that they will look the same when printed.
The sound is very sharp, soft, loud and rich at all frequencies.
The only mobile that its camera outperforms K750i camera is Xcute DX series, they have a 3 m.pixels camera that captures video at VGA resolution (640*480) -whether in AVI or MPEG4 format, not sure about it- also I'm not sure about the native resolution of the still shots, you can read reviews about them in mobile-review and other sites. Other than those, K750i is the best comparing to its main competitors -Nokia N90 and Samsung D600-.
