hey doul do you know were i can get k750i software or firmware for free and doesent do anything bad to the phone or void the waranty?

ok the w800 & k750 are the same fone. the only difference is w800 can choose walkman only or fone , & w800 comes with 512 msdp, thats it.but you can get a k750i and have it reflashed with the w800 firmware.i have a k750 and got it reflashed to w800 and i love it. just got a 2g card for christmas.and its the sheez. as far as the d500&600 they are great mobiles and the d600 can do alot more exept no auto/focus which sux.but with edge, av cables, and stereo blueteeth, it kinda makes up for it.

who said that k750i captures video with lower resolution than 7610, u r wrong it is the same resolution (but the bitrate is lower only in RL005 firmware) but greater in other firmware which reflects in a good looking videos

i heard that you can change the camera shutter sound in k750 thats strange because i don't have such option is it the firmware and if it is what can someone do about it i mean how can upgrade.

hi mr @doul what is bad about this phone.pls can give me detail in what factor this phone better than samsung d600 and wat are by which d600 better than this and about w800i.first i decide to go with nokia 6230i but after your previous anser realy make me sick.

They don't put links to useful sites in the manual, we aren't born with the knowledge of the sites which we'll need, all we do is searching, and searching is a task that anyone can do. You can search for it by yourself instead of asking, it's not that hard to search after all, is it ??

Would i be able to play Real music/video in my K750i? I received a WAV file via BlueTooth but the phone couldn't play it. Would anyone be able to tell me what the problem is? Appreciate it.

Yes, you can use W800i standard headset with K750i for both devices have the same port.

When we say it's better than iPod we mean it's better in both headset and loud speaker. The standard headset makes no differences at all, the quality is superb and I'm totally deep into it myself. For other drawbacks than the low video capturing resolution I find only 2 minor things, 1st, the message alarm is too short and not repetitive, 2nd, only stores the date & time of the last call from the contact -if that contact called you more than once-.

That's cool but be ware that it only supports .WAV files with sample rate lower than or equal to 16 KHz.
Just a random restart, it could happen sometimes, especially in 1st using days. If it happens regularly then it's time to upgrade the firmware, but if it just keeps doing that with a certain video then delete that video and copy it again.
The video is a CRAB and that's the truth which we have to live with. It's a shame that a mobile such as Nokia 7610 with only 1 m.pixel camera captures videos with resolution higher than K750i. I said it before, it's the only major drawback of the BEST camera, mp3 player, phone device which is SE K750i. Nothing is perfect that's all.

Your question has been answered several times already. It's very clear and smooth just with a low resolution. I rated it 4 before -that rate is for video capturing quality only not for the whole camera feature, the still camera is the best you can ever find in a recent mobile, other than Xcute DV sereies of course-, still I rate the complete K750i set with a complete 10 and even gone searching for more points.

Yes it has a very strong light that helps the camera to take very clear close-up pictures in pitch black conditions.
Daym, that post was saved into the DB prior to be checked by a moderator. I checked it several times and tried to figure out which is the bad word that the auto blocking engine keeps blocking the post because of it. I checked it several times to find that word, everytime I find a word that may be it I change it and try to post again but it just keeps blocking it, till I finally found it, the word pitch was written with a b ... Silly me :)

hey anyone thats unsure about buying it it is the best phone out. if you here any rumours about video being crap its a lie just change the video option to high quality it even is as good as samsungs d600.the camera is good as a digital camera and the mp3 is so loud i use it instead of my stereo.
i have the stats here:
camera: 2 megapixle.
display: tft 256k 176*220.
ringtones: poly real mp3.
memory: 32mb plus a free 64mb card.
data:bluetooth infrared usb.
compatible format: mp3 mp4 aac wav amr.
entertainment: media player fm radio games video dj.
battery. about 2 days of heavy useage , on standby about 4 and a half days.
i got the phone 4 xmas and love it.
if you want a k750i with 3g and best camera out get the walkman w900i.
but i think this one is better it is smaller and looks better.

Lu, i'm not really sure what do you mean when you ask will it affect the mp3 quality? i can only say that the earphones are great and the sound is perfect... as for the keypad, it is not difficult to work with at all... i must say that i'm impressed with the keypad and it is very easy to write SMS...

I read the previous posts and saw comments on the sound of mp3 is changed slightly with its original earphone. Is it noticeable? or will it affect the sound quality?
And are there any major drawbacks with the functionality for this phone? such as keypad being hard to press? (i'm totally fine with the low res video. lol)

i'm not sure, but i think that the video quality between k750i and d500 is pretty much the same (176x144 resolution in both models)... as for the other comparison, we said so many times, that there are absolutely NO DIFFERENCES between k750i and w800 regarding the software, and that includes photo and video quality...
