To dave:
The data on the Memory Stick Duo™ can be accessed via Microsoft Explorer. It's also listed under My Computer as an external (data storage) device. Here you can copy files to or from the device using drag and drop. If you want to move the song into the Phone Memory instead of saving it on the Memory Stick Duo™, you must have File Manager installed on your PC.
Make sure you've installed the USB cable correctly and that the phone is attached.
Open My Computer and your phone will be visible as a removable disk. Double-click the removable disk.
Three folders are visible: DCIM, MSSEMC and MP3.
You can store the MP3 track either in the MP3 folder or in MSSEMC > Media files > Audio.
(Taken directly from the se site)

To: Rob
if you want to know which one of these phone can last long until the next 5 years: N80, N70, K750; the answer will be the absolute K750.
Reason: design factor. Compare to the other two phones, the design factor of this phone is very classic, suitable for ppl from different ages, yet the keypad design is simple, easy to use and comfortable.
Probably if you are talking about technology, this phone won't last until 10 years, because maybe this phone is not 3G, which is more likely to be used in the future. However, until this moment, 2G is the main technology that is used even in the non-wealth country. Believe it or not, like it or not, this phone is the DIVA up to date even though it still using the old-2G technology. PS: I don't care whether nokia is the best phone seller or making the most advance phone technology or watever, all that i know is that now K750 rules the phone market in australia (if you are here and you are at the station, or in the train, or in the city, you can see many ppl use this phone).
I have put a post here few days ago about popular phones in australia and i have stated there, NOKIA is a history now (in australia most nokia ppl use the old nokia phones), although they might come back soon and we will see what happen in the future. N70 isn't that great isn't it? I have looked at it and the main drawback from my point of view is the material and the design. The technology used is pretty much the same as 6600, with some improvement here and there: more memory and better mp3--->which field is nowhere better than K750. (apparently N70 cannot take MMC more than 256MB otherwise malfunctioned at 300sthing MB or someone shout pls and prove that this statement is wrong and of course worse mp3 quality than K750)

if i was to reformat the MS, will it recreate the folders that were originally there?
Is anyone else having the problem when after deleting mp3s on the MS, mysteriously some files reappear back?

All you nokia fans out there its time to give up. Youve been beaten by a company with superior technology, cutting edge design and overall impresive performance. Im talking bout the Sony ericsson k750i,Bulls*** nokia 6230i and how its better. Believe me, ive had 40 phones in three years including the 6230i last week which i returned as its a clone of its previous models. I purshashed my K750i today and i have to say, straight up , the best phone thats coming out this year. The crisp, vivid screen made the nokias screen of the same colours(262k) look like a early model colour mobile with scratchy graphics, poor, unresponsive camera and overall crap features. Nokia is the sorriest excuse for a mobile company i've ever seen. They try to fool buyers by putting flashy, cheap looking covers on previous models and giving them overated specs so they can almost reach the league in which Sony lies. THe k750i has a superb camera, oputstounding features and vibrant menu all packed into a case smaller and lighter than the nokia 6230i. All you kids out there, forget NOKIa, get a real phone. peace out

Do it with the headset rathar than the phone internal mic just as I did.
Eric
I never use T9 either, very confusing. For the solution I agree it's not better by any means than the regular pressing/clicking standard way but for your problem as I understanded it there is no 2nd or 3rd letter as the phone just keeps repeating the 1st letter so that solution is a work around it. Maybe it's the software as you mentioned.
vino
Well, you're the 3rd one to tell the same problem in the last mmmmmm about 10 days or so. What are you guys do with your phones ??!!!! Honestly I don't know how is that happened to you, or to the other 2 guys, have no solution either. Contact SE customer care if the dusy is very visible & bothers you.

I have this problem with recording voices for the voice dialling. Whenever I try to record a new voice it keeps telling me to record in a quieter environment. I tried doing it in perfect quiet environment and it still tells me that.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Eric
Or maybe you're not fast enough in clicking the key. Instead you can press and hold + volume key then click 3 to quick insert the E letter, or press and hold - volume key then press 3 to quick insert the F letter. Works the same with other letters/keys as well, but you'll have to manually enter the letters Z and S for the volume keys are only two so they can go to the 3rd letter only.

It's very simple man, click the joystick once or press Menu to go to phone menu, go to Settings, go to last tab Connectivity, Click Bluetooth then click Turn on, just read the manual man, you can also assign a shortcut to the bluetooth to turn it on or off faster -also read the manual to learn how to create shortcuts-. Don't leave the bluetooth always on all the time though for it will drain your battary faster.
You should find your music when you click All music in your Media Player if those music files were in the correct folder, read my previous post to Glon to know which is the correct folder to put your MP3's into.
Eric
I don't know, maybe because of the T9, turn it off then try.

You can install and use mini opera in your K750i, but check the version for some versions will work and some others won't work with the K750i:

Keep checking this page, when a new firmware is out there you'll find it listed:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=92737&start=0
You'll also find a way to check the firmware that you're already downloading down that page.
Raz
I didn't need to convert MP3's into .AMR before, iTunes which I use in converting doesn't have a AMR decoder/encoder by default, so you just google for a proper converting tool.
sek750se
Yes, very solid.
Fans won't believe anything about the quality of their loved brand main rivals -I adore nVIDIA so I don't believe in ATI software/hardware quality as an example- I have to touch and deal with one of them to believe and feel the quality. Yes K750i is very solid, but will be believe that just as you read it ?? Get to your nearest cell. seller and toy with one of K750's which in the store, and say for yourself if it's solid or not ;).
