any probs with this phone? like.does the phone hangs often n if it restarts itself often. and if the cover becomes loose after a certain amount of time..thank u for ur info

I have recently purchased SE K750i 2 months back. The cell phone is loaded with all possible latest features. But what is the sms capacity? I have 512MB memory card with 450MB free memory. Still it keeps giving me 95% message capacity full.
I want to store unlimited msgs on the same as its provided by most phone today. This was 1 of the main reason for me to buy a new cell phone.
The limit of msg capacity is no where specified on the site.
Can some1 help me with the same?

Golmaal...
1) You can only view either your SIM contacts or your phone contacts. However, just copy your SIM contacts into the phone contacts to view both contacts at the same time, copying won't replace the existing contacts so don't worry. Go to menu -just press the joystick once-, go to Contacts, click Options then Advanced, finally click Copy from SIM.
2) This is because the screen can't stretch itself to show all the letters !.

Listen, K750i standard headset is better in quality and loudness than W800i standard headset, but W800i standard headset has an RCA connector through which you can connect your preferable headset. I think more than enough info's have been already written, read some pages to get them all for I don't like to repeat myself in short periods of time. All in all let him get it to you and your love to him will surely increase ;).

Other than the color, keybad layout, camera layout, memory stick size and standard headset you can access the Media Player in the W800i while the phone is switched off via a special key that replaces the shortcut key in the K750i, this feature isn't in the K750i and that's all.

Forget iPod, it can't make/receive calls, has no camera and its MP3 quality isn't better than K750i quality AT ALL.
Yes, you can transfer video clips/movies between your PC and K750i.

Don't you like that !!?? I find it a very usefull feature, your phone gets charged everytime it's connected to your PC instead of waiting till you finish your work then put it in the charger. It's a feature which is built in the USB cable itself.

GGGGGRRRRRR, it supports up to 4 G's, the max available size now is the 2 G's. Both are different stories.

Your device has to be switched off to install the USB cable Update Driver. Switch off the phone, press and hold C key -firm it-, connect your usb cable with the phone -make sure the phone stays off, if it turned on unplug it, switch it off again then re-plug it- hence the find new hardware wizard should start. If it didn't start let me know and we'll try to do it manually.

Man you already wrote couple of days earlier that you finally managed to transfer songs into your phone, it's the same process just use the Video folder instead of the Audio one. Windows media player doesn't support .3GP by default, I didn't try it to see if it'll automatically download the proper codec for it but you are free to try it, because I'm having mpegable x4 live! installed on my PC I have all my .3GP files identified automatically by its player. Real player also can play it after downloading a very small patch automatically.

You can use ImTOOGP (a third party software)to convert 3Gp files to avI, MPEG etc... Also you can use the USB cable/Bluetooth to tranfer file from or to your PC.. hope this helps
Btw if you don't wanna convert your 3GP file QuickTime can Play 3GP movies..

1. Is there any options to view both sim and phone memory contacts at the same time while searching?
2. Phone book displays only the fist 17 charcter of the contact name... How can I view full name? only by edit contact!!!

just switched form nokia 7610 to this baby k750i. i must say woohoo. isnt it something. the best phone one can get. worth keeping for many months to come. highly reccomended.

i still can't transfer files from my hp to pc. my hp will be automatically charged once i connect it to the pc and also, the SE web says the Detect New hardware wizard will auto launch, but it didnt.

i've followed the installation steps and it said that the Windows Found New Hardware wizard will auto run. but it didnt. moreover, whenever i connect my phone to the pc via the cable, my phone will auto charge.

to dj, yes u can transfer files from your phone to the pc via the data cable provided. the mp3 quality is loud and clear. and the phone supports up to 2gb memory.

No need to buy W800 and the price is big difference now! Both the two phone is 99% identical and they are both excellent phone.

No, .3GP is the worst format I believe so it should produse the smallest size. Try to crop out the outer edges of the video -if were black- and reduse the audio sample rate and video resolution. Anyway you shouldn't squeeze yourself that hard with the contents size for you have plenty of space.

1st you have to install the PC Suite which is bundled with the phone, then download the USB Cable Update from SE web site and learn how to install it -from the same page- then install it, after that when you connect your phone you should find a Safely Remove Hardware icon beside the clock in your Taskbar, go to your My Computer and there will be a Removable Disk which is the MS of the phone browse it and you'll find a special folder for every type of data -pic,audio,video,theme-. For transferring into the internal memory -not recommended due to it's slow speed, I'de rather copy into the MS then move it from into the phone to the internal memory-, once you install the PC Suite a File Manager will be on your Desktop, connect the phone then open that File Manager, then click your phone then open Phone memory and there will be the same folders found in the MS but this time they contain the data which is on the shared memory. For synchronizing your phone with the web I don't know how to do that actually, the options are to synchronize your Contacts -with Outlook Express-, Calender, Tasks and Notes of your phone with your PC.

No, if you were encountering these restarts before dropping your phone then try to upgrade the firmware, if they started after dropping your phone then send it to your nearest SE customer care center, if a certain pic doesn't show every time, delete it and copy/transfer it again.

i bought this phone for 150 dollars + my gamecube with some extras. so it was a steal. on the phone. this has to be one of, if not, the BEST non smartphone out in the market today.
