First of all I can't see any note for MAC OS supporting in the PC Suite minimal requiremnets. Anyway I'll assume that you're having it installed and running in your MAC. Let's try to perform a complete format to your MS to see how things will go. Copy any important data in your MS into your PC then unplug the phone from the USB cable then press the joystick to go to phone menu then go to File manager, click More then click Format ext. mem. Now try to copy any song into the shared memory -in the SonyEricsson File Manager in your Desktop,select the phone then open the phone memory then copy the song into the Sounds folder- then play it, if it was corrupted -and you already have the USB Cable Update Driver installed- then maybe your firmware have some audio engine bugs so try to upgrade it, if it was played correctly then move it internally to the MS -with the USB cable unplugged select the song from Sounds folder in the File manager then click More then Manage files then Move to ext.mem-, if you found it corrupted then your MS is a faulty unit and have it replaced from SE local dealer, if it was played correctly then 1st step is passed with success. Now plug your USB cable again and open your Removable Disk -the MS- just don't copy into the MP3 folder for the phone won't identify it, instead go to MSSEMC folder, Media Files folder, Audio folder then finally MP3 folder, copy your songs here and unplug your device from the cable, now, moment of truth, try to play the songs, if played without any corruption then congrats, if not then I guess your problem is much higher than my limited intelligence. Hope this post could help you & solve your problem.

Had major problems downloading music files from Mac to phone - duplicates all files and seems to mess up memory card - can't delete downloaded files. Can anybody help because Sony Ericsson can't!!

i brought the se 750i limited edition(free external flash) let me tell it is the best fone available in market. Excellent mp3 quality and loudness, very good camera with auto focus wasthe reason i bought it and i must say i made a the right decision

I remember answering this specific question before. No, K750i can't do that, you can assign a special melody/tone for calles and another melody/tone for messages -all kinds of messages will have the same tone- but you can't assign vibrating to a certain one, it will vibrate only if the phone were in silent mode, other than that you can't assign vibration as an alarm either for calls or messages.

Yaa yaa, I recommend you not to use Windows Vista for you won't understand it nor you'll be able to deal with it. It's simply not for guys like you.

Get out of screensaver/clock mode, in stand-by mode move the joystick to right direction -ignore the opened application- then press * then move the joystick to left direction twice then press * then move the joystick to left direction again then finally press *, click Service info then Software info, the 1st line is your current firmware and you'll find other versions of Camera and LCD in the same page as well.

- It's country dependant not firmware dependant, if you still have the shutter sound even in silent mode then try to use a different country firmware which use the same language.
- No, even if yes, do you know how to open your phone and replace it yourself ?? Don't worry it will stay intact for quite enough time.
- They do it in .MPEG4 format not .3GP format. Try to use Windows Movie Maker which comes by default with your Windows OS to split the movie into pieces then join those pieces into as many as you want of small/short clips then covert each of them alone. It will take a long time by it will do what you seek.

It supports .WAV files only if they ware equal to or less then 16 KHz of sample rate. If your second problem happens with each and every game then you have something wrong in your JAVA engine so I recommend you upgrading the firmware to have a correct engine with the new firmware, but if this application error happens with a certain game then delete it and copy it again into your phone for I think this game is corrrupted.

I had this problem too, not only with the USB cable but with the headset as well, I had to keep pressing them till the phone recognize it but I don't have this issue now, honestly I'm not sure what happened, the only differences till now from then is the USB Cable Update -is now installed for the USB cable issue- and I'm using the R1N035 firmware now instead of the old R1J. Honestly I don't know if they what caused the difference or not, maybe it just goes with time !.

I used to have a K700i before this one, not very sure if it had the same version of media player though, what I'm sure about is that the K750i standard headset is much better than those of K700i so the quality/loudness is much higher.

Set the phone to silent and it will mute the focus along with the shutter sound. If it didn't mute it just read my post to Aparadectos again.

No, there is no auto flashing system/feature in the K750i. For the video capturing length just go to Shoot Mode then select High Quality video to have your recordings goes limited only by your free memory space.

Hey guys, I want to help with some information for those who asking about the flash for K750i, for night shouting you may have to use external flash that the conpany provide it with the product, and regarding the light in the Hp actully it's just light it's not flash I hope this info is helpful.

High guys I just bought this K750i it's really nice HP but it's not that perfect sense I used to have P800i and I was looking forward to buy P910i but I heard that there's perfect HP coming soon is P990i this HP got all the feature such 2mg cam,palm mp3 can most of the audio file such wave ect... wirless internet 3D games ect..., anyway I bought k750i temporary while I'm waiting for P990i to come to the market and wait for few month until the price go down a bit. for those who asking how to record video longer than 15 second in K750 I recomend you to buy memory stik pro so you can record as much as memory space I hope this info is helpfull.

does this phone have an auto-flash function for picture-taking? seems like it only has this bright light that u can either keep it on or off manually.

also, when i take videos, it always gets cut off after 10 seconds. any idea how to increase the time for video-taking?

I have one question: is the music when we use earphone louder than in k700, because I've heard some mp3's using k700 and the quality of sound is good but it is too quiet?

Hi Guys
i have this nice little multimedia phone & i m really very impressed with its performance....but it has developed a prob now....whenever i connect usb cable the connection is not proper & i have to keep it pressed into the slot...for 1-2 mins its not any prob but what will i do while upgrading to newer firmware where it takes around45 mins....

plz help

whoops, one more from me, i think you are wrong if you say that Ericsson's quality went down because of its joint venture with sony. In fact, because of the joint venture, many ppl compare their phone with the current nokia phones (which i doubt whether ericsson/sony can do so by themselves). Still lots of ppl hates sony ericsson though. But i found less of new nokia phones nowadays.. if so, it will be for 6230, 6680 which is the most common new nokia phones (others are from the older models.. makes it sounds like its no longer nokia kingdom). In australia, i found more of K750, K700, LG U8180, LG 8120, Samsung E700, Samsung D500, T610, Motorola V3, SE Z800, K608. Other phones models are just in minority group.

i don't understand what are you talking about here... very great design and functionality yet the quality is poor? what do you mean poor? are you saying that the camera is poor? for the camera that awarded as the best camera phone ever up to date by gsmarena? r you kidding me? Or you are saying that the MP3 quality poor? that is just a comment that comes out from the very-great-damn-f***ing-arrogant musician who talks big as if they know everything about music and how it shld sound---> e.g. giving comment like the bass not loud enough, or the treble cleff sounds horrible, or it just sounds very fake. BTW, if you have heard the mp3 quality, you should know that it produce the sound just as good as a real mp3 player. If you are non musician, it is simply almost impossible for you to be able to tell the flawness, nor even every musician can do so. What do you expect?

let me tell you more, regardless its functionality as a multimedia device, i can guarantee that it has all of the basic phone functionality: Phone (if you found that the loudspeaker not loud enough, then get your earphone.. not only that it reduce the radiation effect, it also gives a better sound quality as well), it features SMS, EMS, MMS, email client, what else do you need? triband is a standard feature... infra red, best bluetooth because it is by sony ericsson...

please specify what do you mean by poor quality? as far as i know, every single feature that you can found in this phone is works at it best and almost no flaw unless you got the faulty one (and except those that is not offered in this phone like 3G, EDGE or symbian).

@DoUL good job man, i also have some question if u can spare some time...

-do u know if some of the new software versions of K750 remove the capabilty to make a photo without the annoying sound in the all silent profile? ;-)
-may a gsm magazine provide u, with the special membrane used under the keypad that keeps the optimum keypad contact, intact?
inevitably some time the dust will create some problems and a normal cleaning is a temporary solution,the membrane will make it a new phone,
i ve asked at SE service and they said it isnt for sale
-do u know wich program use the companies to provide memory cards with films for mobiles?
I ve used nero decoders, xilisoft,4xlive mpegable,IMtoo encoders
and although i can make the convertion of every format in 3gp(even DVD) in a decent quality,
i cant use any subtitles and the most important after about 15' the sound and the picture are no longer sync,i could avoid this if i knew a program that can edit a film,make it 15' pieces and then decode it as episodes...

Great design and functionality, but very poor quality. Glitching soft: very low sound level of ear speaker, unstable work with bluetooth handsfree. Check out how many firmware releases K750i has! Button for camera was tough, so it was almost impossible to press to take picture. And it was just one day experince, too much for one day for brand new device! for such amount of money you could expect more! Since Ericcson joined Sony in cell phones area, quality went down.

hi everyone,

I am just wondering if this phone can be personalized different alert modes on your phone. For example, setting the call & MMS alert to melody only then the SMS is on vibra mode and vice versa or whatever you pleased as long as you will have independent/different alert modes on those functions (call,SMS, MMS,broadcast message)without affecting each other.

Samsung phones can do all of these and i am considering to buy k750i and it is better if the k750i can do the same. Thanks

Other than those two things this phone is really good, the earpeice is not that bad you just have to hold it close to your ear, but I usually use the Stereo headphones to make calls or the bluetooth headset. It is well worth the money instead of buying a digital camera and phone and MP3 player, this device is your sony digital camera, IPOD, and cell phone in one, HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!
