About integrating ringtones with contacts:
1. Go to "Contacts"
2. Select the contact you want to assign a ringtone to.
3. Select "More".
4. Select "Edit Contact".
5. Go 2 pages to right with your joystick, then you'll see the 3 items:
" Picture" to assign a picture to a contact.
"Ringtone" & "Voice Commands".

As a result I agree with magma2000 & I think if there is a disadvantage, it belongs to us who don't know what we are buying and how it fits our expectations.
Ofcourse, this does not mean that I think this phone is PERFECT or so.

1. Being triband is not a disadvantage at all. Perhaps some people like you living in US & use AT&T or Cingular which are using 850, but a vast majority of people in the world or even people in US using T-Mobile do not care about that issue.
2. K750 is released in 2 versions "i" for international & "c" for China and maybe it would have an "a" edition for north america which would work under 850 band fq.
3. If being triband seems a disadvantage to you, why did you bought that? Didn't you know that before??!
4. Saying SE or K750 is faulty because it does not carry a specification which is useful for ME as a minority of users in the world seems to me a little selfishly.
So if you are into SE, choose other models which are quadband & if you are into K750 change your operator 7 if your are not going to do any of these 2, sell your phone and join other forums!

There is no problem with the volume itself, but it is about the unusual position of loudspeaker at the top edge of phone which needs a some accurate positioning of phone next to ear & would be resolved by getting familiarized with the phone.

To be honest, I agree with you on this issue, but i take another aspect in my mind and that is the power consumption of the speaker is lowered by company to increase the battery life of the phone & it seems to me quiet reasonable for a walkman phone which is supposed to work with earphones.

Do you reset your phone now & then? Resetting helps the phone to manage its memory and run faster and smoother.
Do not forget that you got a phone with magnificent camera & music function in a highly reasonble PRICE & half the SIZE of the other phones with the same capability.

Its been two weeks since I have SE K750i. It works well except that it hangs some times. Can any one tell me what I should do to avoid this?? Also the quality of viedo is not too good.. Is there any way I could make it any better or upgrade it ??.. Please suggest.

Guys I`m sharing my experience with that. I already installed two of them-the first one under the battery and the second one after I opened the phone and placed it under the screen. And in both cases it didn`t improve a signal, nothing that I would notice. So don`t bother with that. You can`t make it work like
Nokia phone.

I have a problem here. On my previous Sanyo 8200 phone that I used at Sprint, I was able to assign a certain melody to the calls with no caller ID-and everytime the phone rung I knew it was anonymous. In K750i I don`t see such option-I even tried to save a contact number that doesn`t have a phone number or its name was WITHHELD as it says with anonymous call but still it plays a general ringtone. Any ideas guys to share? I appreciate that.

This phone doesn`t have disadvantages? Are you kidding me? In that case it simply means that either you don`t use the phone or didn`t look a few pages back as many of us were sharing troubles having this phone. Just to remind you:
this phone is tri-band, not quad-band and i`m personally suffering without 850 Mhz-here in the States it`s the best frequency. Second-the volume during calls is too low-at nosy environement you can`t hear a damn thing, third-the external speaker sounds rattling-not a very realistic sound like Nokia`s, there is much room for improvement, also even when the phone detects signal and has like one or two bars available-you can hear but they can`t hear you-you are breaking up BAD, and Nokia (I tried 7260 ) with the same signal strength worked flawlessly. Another thing-the phone is a bit sluggish, not as fast as Nokia, now it started irritating me. The buttons to press are not as comfortable to press as Nokia`s...Of course I can make a long list of advantages of this phone-a lot of reasons why I own it, but I already can see myself switching from this phone in the future for the reasons I mentioned.

as this phone is featurin the best features of the mobiles and it is just 99 grams....................... so i will rate it more than 6680 and 6630 6600 6681 even d600
but d600 is same that of it but sound quality a huge diff ..............................

Does anyone know if the music player in the W800 is better than K750, or is it only the ear phones making the difference?
I mean, if I connect a pair of W800 earphones to my K750, I will have the same sound?

TO Mobilo: To take a picture without shutter sound, press the key below 9 for long and bring your phone in the silent mode. Thats all.

iam ambassador i had k750i but when i saw w800i i bought it too.i think w800i is much more better than k750i.

Hi, everybody! I think Sony Ericsson K750i is a very good phone.It looks nice&charming and has very good features.
-Display quality is very good.176*220 piksel with 262K, display size 29*36 mm, so piksel per cm2 is 3709.It is very good but not perfect because S700i is much better (240*320 piksel, 262K, display size 35*46 mm, piksel per cm2 is 4771)
-Photo quality is better than S700i, Nokia N90,6630 and 6230i.Nokia has problem with colours.Not as real as it seems!
-Very good sound quality.Better than Samsung D500 and all Nokia phones.
-Can ıncrease the memory with "Memory Stick Pro Duo" (up to 2GB+64 MB)
-Has an external Flashlight MXE-60
-Camera has "AutoFocus" function.
-Phone size&weight are good (100*46*20.5 mm-99 gr)
-In Turkey...you have to pay for 570$ for K750i&MXE-60.But this phone is worth for! It is cheaper than N90(985$) and 6630 (618$)
...I will buy it in next few monts...:)

I dunno wot is wrong wid some of u guys. U seem to go on and on wid trivial aspects of this phone. READ THE MANUAL!!!!! or go get urselves some brains.Also plz stop this samsung - SE battle. if anyone prefers it let them go in for that sad phone. Why fight stupid ppl.
Why not discuss something more serious like the Security of your handset(viruses,exploits etc). Do u know how easy it is to get hold of someones phonebook? Trojans that can send ur personal info(credit card,ur pics,ur movs, ur private moments) to everyone on the planet. You know how often this happens?
Sorry if im being a bit agressive but its time all of us got smart about this issue.
Why not pool in our resources to fight off such intrusions. Lets find out wot is required to keep our K750i safe and give us all a better chance against the bad guys.
If you have any ideas or suggestions please write in to me.
Lets do this guys. what say you?

Thnx for your response, but that doesn't work on my k750. I tried holding down the # key to put the phone in silent mode and also I tried to set my profile in a silent mode, but in both cases the camera sound keeps making a sound.

if you put the phone on silent before starting the camera there will be no sound when taking the picture... maybe there is a simpler way, but this also works.
