Hi All
Just want to share i converted my k750i to w800 Bought a service cruiser cable and a did it with total mutiserver It took one hour for the whole procedure.After Conversion Mp3 player is cool U can arrange playlist not available in k750i and there is a slight improvement in camrea quality also

Thanx viperkid. if im not mistaken we have the mac OS on the 750i.
I was goin thru a few sites n saw that most of the virus attacks are aimed at the Symbiam OS and then the Windows Os.
Mac Os dont seem to figure out anywhere. I guess tht is a good thing , Is'nt it?
If a VIRUS is launches against th se750i hope we are prepared.

you can't install any anti-virus program on this phone coz its OS is not symbian, in case you found one, for sure it won't work on this K750i

I bought this phone a weeek ago and i am very happy with it. my friends who went in for the nokia 6230i and 6680 are so jealous.
I wanted to know from you guys if i can install a VIRUS SCAN for it. If so which one is good. how do i install one?

to all who suffer from a the battery life.
go to:
settings --> connectivity --> data comm. --> preferred service --> pick GSM only.
and ur battery life will increase by the triple.
this phone has no disadvantages if u know it well.

@ jerry on the camera options turn on high quality video and it will increase the video size. It starts of on 10 seconds for mms. Also it depends on how much memory yoy have left, so if you have a lot of memory and turn on high quality video you will be able to make longer videos.

My K750i went "mindless" after 15 days, apperently due to software problems. My service provider is unable to repair and will not replace as it is more than 7 days old. Avoid this model until they get the bugs sorted out.

I just got a new SE K750i- and you know what? It's the most amazing and coolest phone i've ever had and seen!
No coments! Just great,camera,mp3,colors and a nice battery stand-by for so many functions.

I was about to answer that query about batt life.. we got the same opinion since when i bought this phone, i made it to the point that i understand its function, quality, disadvantages, battery life, and its software.

Just wanna share with some of my experince regarding the battery life for K750i.
Don't depend on the information published on the website, in this case 400 hours. The battery life not only depend on the usage but how you use it and also the very important factor, the search frequency of the network station when the phone is in standby mode. In our country which using GSM mode, most of the network station is providing a weak but frequent signal to our phone. The weaker the network station can provide the signal to the phone, the more battery power will use for the phone to try to stay connected with the station in standby mode. In short, if you are live in a strong and stable signal, your phone mostly will have longer battery power.
Therefore, the 400 hours estimation is actually based on the most ideally GSM network searching frequent.
When I was in Japan and using their mobile phone, which isn't using GSM mode, believe or not, with normal usage and playing game for short time everyday and also let it on during the night, the battery life can stand up AT LEAST 5 days!

Does anybody know if it possible to change the volume for the message allert? It's awfully loud for my phone at the moment. Does it have to do with the ringtone volume?

My battery lasts approx. 8 days. I don't use the phone too much, only a couple of calls a day. But I doubt that even in stanby the phone will reach 400 hrs. Usualy they specify much more than the real standby.

Was the phone in "standby" during that period? I mean didn't you do anything like talking, playing games or musice, browsing in the phone, etc. Personally, I didnt test batt. life in complete standby situation since I bought it & I was busy with doing such actions & I usually had to charge it every 2 days and the same issue is bothering me as well!
