personally i prefer W800 (because of the lens cover, its cool and more stable than K750, in K750 you might accidentally open the lens cover when you put it in your pocket or when you are on the phone.

to tinusxxx.. its up to you. W800 and K750 is the same phone, but W800 is more into music, perhaps they added some more function relates to music and have a longer battery life. U got 512 MB memory when you buy W800 and 64MB memory when you buy K750, but if you compare the price btw W800 and K750+512MB, W800 is still more expensive.
After all, it just a matter of design.. if you prefer the W800 design more than K750, then go and get it, otherwise go for K750.

          This is a great phone.

          K750i (Silver) is VF locked
K750i (Black) is open to any network

I haven't found any faults in this phone. The battery life is good, MP3 quality is good. Pics quality is great. Video capture is ok (seen better) if you set it on high quality you can record for longer & the quality does improve (but takes up more memory)

I work for VF & got a great deal on this phone @ FOC with a good tariff. Best network to go for.

              hey ppl,
One question when I connect my phone to PC it detects only the phone memory and not the memory stick. Is it the limitation of the phone or I have to upgrade the installation. Please suggest.
Currently I have installed the PC suite which came with the phone.

Its a cool looking phone, but it has some limitations. I'll stick with my microsoft smartphone (C550). Record unlimited videos, watch Divx/Xvid movies, play Nintendo emulators, Chat on MSN Messenger & get to where I'm going using TomTom (with bluetooth GPS) - YES A PHONE CAN DO ALL THIS AND MORE.

Yes, it is a cool looking phone!

                :D

Erm . i seem to have a problem with the video recording .. Its just last at most 15 secs.. Is it the phone itself,I'm low on memory space or is there a way to change the settings so that it can be recorded longer?? Thanks in advance.

I was interested in buying this phone too, so I researched all the details. Only the Vodafone Live K750 is locked. The others can be unlocked if you pay their unlocking fees. You can also buy the K750 outright, but they get up to AUS$140 more expensive.

                      to: Happy seller
hmm... i do not know about that though, i thought K750 in australia is not locked to any specific provider, except the vodafone live one. I asked the shopkeeper in the vodafone shop and she said that if you buy the vodafone live version for K750, then it is locked, otherwise you can use it for other provider too. Where about in australia do you live? (i mean which city or state)

                      to babygal:
i think you need software and cut it down from PC then you set it for ringtones
                      http://www.008soft.com/products/mp3-splitter.htm
you can try that one to split.. (i try to download, but i don't quite understand how to use it, otherwise just go to google and search MP3 cutter)

                        hey ppl

just wondering if there was a way to edit mp3/4 ringtones so i can use the chorus of a song instead of the beginning-to-end of the songs as my ringtone

                        cheers

just a quick question for any1 that wants to answer. are all of the k750i's locked into their respective carriers internet sites or is it just in australia that this happens??? for example, here in oz if you purchase a K750i with optus you can only use "optus zoo" internet services with it. the same with vodafone (vodafone live)and telstra (i mode) although i'm not to sure about telstra. any feedback would be great, thanks in advance. :)

                            Thanks nemesis
Actually the reason was I choosed North America as the location, coz the phone is not distributed officially in NA. Anyway thank for your response :)

                              hi everybody.
i have been using siemens mobile (s25,s35,s45,s55,s65) for the last 12 years, but now with the appearance of the K750 i was obliged to change for the SE team because you can not do anything except to respect this phone.

it is the first phone in the market that deal with all aspects of you daily life, whatever your carrier was.

some phones and because of some defect in manufacturing may have some problems. and this is normal in all complex machine.

so stop discussing the issue whether this phone is good or bad and go and buy it before it is too late.

I finally moved over to SE from Nokia... after about 6 years. Must say i'm totally impressed.

Just have one question, is it normal for the lens slider to wobble a bit when you press on the top and bottom part of it? Especially when its open.

This is a great phone. I have had it for a few months and it is really easy to use and great great sound. Only problem is does anyone know how to get more out of their memory as at the moment it can only store about 160 txt messages in the inbox, and 20 in the outbox. can anyone help?
