The black & silver K750i is NOT a limied addition.
The black colour is is much nicer looking so most people take the black one & phone store only order a few black & silver.

i have a few questions to ask,
to my knowledge, there's two type of color available for k750, one is black and the other is black and silver... is the black and silver - limited edition coz i can't seem to find much in my country (two or three max)
and the other is, if the k750 is flashed with the w800 firmware, what additional fuctions will it have? longer battery life? flight mode? better sound?

SENSO. It's rated best phone on the market as of now. Look at the few review and make a decision. Remember Asian market is first to see upcomming phones since all cells first come out in Japan. By the way I am waiting for upgraded version with CCD chip and when it's released in US so i can take advantege of lower prices. CAN ANYONE ANSWER MY QUESTION. If there is way to store names in phonebook by numberical order. exp. Ziggy as first on the list

its very trustworthy!
ive had no problems
doesnt freeze
sound is fine
gotta take mine back tho now cos i dropped it and the camera doesnt work haha!
cant take as much as my old nokia lol i dropped that every night!

Four in ten people say that it has many problems, while the other six say its terrific!!!
I dont know what to believe!!! And its kind of weird that such a great phone has a low price in the market!!! Well anyway im buying it next week and hope that i will not make a mistake!!!

Is there an option in k750i to save contacts in numerical order meaning I would want Ziggy to be in first position on my phone. Kind of like motorolla has.

Razyel, the latest firmware version is R1L002. You can and should get it from the Sony Ericsson website

The current version helps the k750i to freeze less often. You'll find only 10% of it freeze after the update compared to the 60% before.
If you want to test the beta firmware updated versions, you'll need to go visit http://www.davinciteam.com/ which automatically voids your warranty. It' risky too.
Honestly, I would stick to what I have and wait for a future update by the actual website. Remember, you can scratch your gold if you polish it too much.
Mojako, I only emailed them but there is no guarantee they'll ever read or listen to me bro. Let's just pray they do read that email and at least consider one suggestion for the next update.
To the guy giving excuses not to buy this cell phone, saying stuff like the bluetooth is expensive, blah blah... I think Sony Ericsson made it pretty clear that these quality cell phones are not for people who are broke?
k750i is probably one of the cheapest 2 megapixel camera cell phones, and it's a shame you could go on nagging about it's overall price. Every good thing has a high value doesn't it?

By far the best phone I've owned and trust me I've owned some phones (here's my current collection (add the k600i and 8800 to the list since they'll arrive 8.1.05): http://neraselect.com/myphones3.jpg The features are amazing, great camera and amazing screen. People are always amazed when I show them a music video on my phone or a sitcom episode! To top it off, my phone has the W800 firmware, I highly recommend this flash. I couldn't say enough about the phone, that's why I own 2 of them =)

If u r really excited in the MP3Player of this phone, why don't you go ande get iPod?!! It seems you have done a great mistake to get this phone only for the sound quality!!!

this is an expensive version of k700.. the problem with sony ericsson is that they are not using the standard MMS or SD Card. They are using prorietary Sony memory stick. Which is 2x more expensive. I have friends who always run out of memory on their Sony Ericsson phones like P900 and S700, but can't buy additional memory coz its too expensive.
Whats the use of having an expandable memory when its too expensive? Sony Ericsson accesories are ridiculously expensive. They are not using standard headphone jack. Their USB cables costs more than a bluetooth dongle. What's with that cable? Maybe it contains gold in it.. hehe

i always adore any SE models... and this one proves 2b the best of all (that i ever own)... i dont care about other features... i just need the phone call is good and i didnt have any troubles of writing SMS... oh yeah and the cool camera. Too bad that it didnt have much recognition here. Gonna wrap it as a present for my boyfriend's birthday this october!

I got this phone yesterday!!! I LOVE IT dont think abouti it too much this is a great phone. speaker is very loud who ever said tha it was low should get their ears checked!! loud ring tones too!!
HB850 motorola wont work i read about it before so im selling it im going to buy a SE akono. but if some body can help me about it please e-mail me before i do....

Sounds like your friend went to the website. How come these people, who have updated their firmware, don't have that problem?
How come I don't complain? It's not like Sony Ericsson is paying me to say all this.
Anyway, sorry to hear what happened to your good friend. I hope he gets over it soon and realizes it was his own fault.

attention... those who got no problems with ur SE k750i pls don update it... one of my fren got his hand itchy n upgrade the firmware... now his phone freeze almost everyday lol... before that he got no problems at all... ciaoz
