jon: What doesn't have an imbedded display? The phone and what part as it doesn't always mean the screen so please tell me more.

Yeah you can use any make of memory card makes! Aslong as they are either memory stick duo which has to be only 128MB or memory stick pro duo cards whichcan go upto 2GB or 1GB still finding out with this phone, you can use scan disk or any other makes that are memory stick dup or pro duo cards!

Hi All. first of all the faultyness of the k750i have been scoping around and i see that the problems have been fixed ( as i do sell these phones ) but thats besides the point i have had this just under 2 weeks and the fone is amazing i have not had any problems with it and it is proven to be alolt better than the d600 ( i was playing about with it yesterday ) so then...... my cable from my fone to the pc is a little bit dodgy but other than that its a 10/10 fone ...

Would we have to use the official / genuine Memory Stick Duo and MS Duo Pro released by Sony? Or can they be substituted by SanDisk, etc?

By the way the Nokia 6280 phone needs more internal memory, a stereo speaker with 3D effects, Symbian Series 60, as it is only series 40 so you cannot download many apps for it, WI-FI and Carlz Zeizes optics lenses which don't always need if they made the [hpne's quality as gooda s this K750!! Those little improvements would make this phone so much better! Phone I think has a CMOS sensor which if deos could be a CCd as it redices a lot of nosie in lwo light conditions but uses a lot more battery life but hopefully the K750 will change to a CCD in Novemeber to Decmeber!
To people wanting to know, this K750 handset supports Memory
Stick Duo up to 128MB and Memory Stick Pro Duo up to 1GB so it supports both cards! I got that information from SE and as you can see they said memory stick pro duo upto 1GB and on the FAQ it says upto 2GB so I am still waiting for their reply!

MMOHSINM: Sorry you cannot ask for things like that here as it is illegle and is best to try and find something like that yourself!

jB: The phone is the best camera phone around but that is a camera phone!! Not a real camera! Also you can get a flash atachment with a real flash and anti red eye!
Anand: Get the drivers CD and isntall it on your pc! Once you have restart your pc if nesecery, good idea too, then plug in the USB cable! Go to "My Computer", then clcik on the flast drive liek Sony Ericcson K750 flash or whatever or the memory card and drag your files into the video folder or whatever! You can also get a bluetooth dongle which is faster and wireless and is around £20! The phone supports 3GP and Mpeg4 (MP4 video) and Mpeg4 is the most common and best video format but 3GP uses less file size so you could compress the Mpeg4 to make it smaller but looses quality and can do this with the program winzip or convert the Mpeg4 format into 3GP using any of these slected websites which are listed on this website: http://www.mymusictools.com/download/3gp-converter/

I live in Greece,I like thiw phone very much but I couldn't wait for it,so I bought V800,which is also very good(and 3G).
I would like to tell you about the camera:megapixel is not a quality measure,it just shows how big the photo is.So, a VGA photo taken from a real digital camera is out of questio better than a 2MP photo taken from K750 or any other mobile phone.And something more:
The phone with the best camera is.....Siemens S55(I'm talking about the camera only)which is a VGA camera.Have you ever seen photos taken from S55?Enen in darkness are exellant because it haw a flash(a real flash,not just a light).

all o2 phones are fixed and working new batches have been sent out. the new phones work fine as mine has been swopped and i dont have any problems now

Can someone tell me how to store an mpeg or a video file from the PC to the phone.
in other words is it possible to keep song videos in the phone. and what video format would work the best.
The phone is excellent. just got it 2 days back.

The phone is a great phone, the joystick is fine, loudspeaker not so good though but MP3 player and camera are great!
Apart frokm the cine version most people have the i and have the firmware updates to fix thje faults!
The Nokia 3230 is the worst smart phone, but Nokia N90 or 6280 is okay but the weight on the N90 is bad and can only take Nokia's own memory cards!
The phone records in 3GP but cna play Mpeg4 (MP4 video) but you can convert files at these websites on this link: http://www.mymusictools.com/download/3gp-converter/

Hi im thinking about getting one of these phones. Are they good phones?? Can they record video in MPEG format?? If they have any fults with the S/W in them can i fix them myself with the USB cable that comes with them?? And how easy it it to do?? Also how big are these? are they around the same siza as the SE K500i?? of the Nokia 7610?? Thanks

I won't get it.
my next phone should be a decent and reliable "calling" unit and not a freezer; and I am looking for good quality pictures taken with the built-in camera.
my option is 3230 or higher :) (I like the 6681, but I heard it has a lousy stand-by time).
music lovers and teenagers will get this (I am 20 yrs old, btw, but I preffer a smartphone with a nice camera :) )

You can already buy few (very few) retails stocks of K750i from the retailers as of last weekend, but the main stocks will be available either this or next weekend.
Also, as echoed by everyone here. I do find the voice level while talking to be fairly low..... with the headphone, the sound is perfect.... but who wants to carry a headset around all the time....

Can you explain to me what is so amazing about this phone when I can hardly hear anyone unless I put the ear phones?
Also, what is so amazing about this phone when I can hardly navigate the menu due to the kid's joystick!
When will Sony grow up and improve few very important things:
1- The menue set up ( maybe in Japan they find the menue of Sony phones is easy, but definitely not in USA!) P.S. Take any Nokia phone ( the menue is perfect)
2- The size of the phone ( again: I know in Japan people have small hands but not in USA!) And as always large size Nokia phones definitely look like phones, not toys.
3- Get rid of traditional stupid joystick!
(this is not a game! this is a phone!)
4- Sound quality will be louder and clearer when the size of the phone grow up!
( s700 is a perfect example!)
Finally in my opinion the best camera phone on todays market is the Nokia 6680!
( even though it is 1.3 megapixel)
I have no idea why GSM arena compares Sony k750 or Sony s700 with Nokia 6630 ( Nokia 6630 has no Flash!) instead of Nokia 6680!
People want to see photos that are taken by Nokis 6680. My friend got 6680 and the photos are not any worser than the ones taken by k750. ( the only thing is: Nokia works better as a phone) I will try to upload photos taken by Nokia 6680 to my homepage very soon to show them to GSM arena and to its visitors.

So it uses its 2 mpixels only for 1632x1224, and otherwise it's 640x480 VGA??
