I got this phone and it turns itself off automatically, software problem. it is in general a common problem with SEs. I like SEs but I dont know why they changed the address book. you dont see the details of the particular address entry on one screen, you can only scroll vertically to get from mobile to home or to work number of a particular entry, this Sucks! big time. It used to be that you press on the contact and you see all the details, this was much better, Only for this alone I am going to sell this phone and get somethin else, I guess I can switch to Nokia,. why did they have to do that? I can only wonder.

Wookie Dude, obivously its the first day you got your phone, play around it a bit more. Transfering to the phone memory by using the MS, it takes like erm... 7 seconds for so for 1 mp3? And if your problems still persists after you learnt how to use the phone by changing its setting to its optimal, its time to visit the service center. I must admit SE have real bad quality control and the phone you received might be faulty. Why? Coz I need to sent my phone for servicing as well and now it works so well. Explore the phone a bit more and understand it before you condamn it!
Si Dude : Ok, the phone reads 3gp and mpeg4 format for video, now that we know that, can anyone recommand a prog or link to a prog that can change its format to 3gp and mpeg4? And is the a way to shrink a video to fit the screen of the phone, or reduce its quality so that it takes up less space on the phone?

OMG. Complete waste of money. Besides the features which make it look handsome and all, it is full of flaws. First off is the PC suite it self. It can never detect the phone memory. Despite the need for a firmware upgrade as everyone said, i did. The program keeps lagging up and freezes on you. So think carefully when getting this phone. all that mp3 camera and all makes it all sound good. BUt really isnt. Camera, @mp my but same as a top notch VGA built in, i tink my brothers V600 looks better. MP3, occasionally and rarely your computer does detect the stupid piece of crap and u input some music. when u do get to play the music on ur phone, its all messed up during transfer. this phone sux.

thanks for all the advise marat levee......my bro broubht the k750i for me and i didnt see it yet...but i have a 3 mp camera and my bro told me that this phone's cam is even better than the 3 mp one...so i am looking foward to his arrival in trinidad and tobago to recieve my new phone ...my baby the sexiest phone on the plannet

Malenolt: It can hold upto a 1GB memory card! Maybe 2GB is Novmeber to Decmeber!
Anathaema: "Mp is much ebtetr than VGA! This is massive and is the best camera phone out with the Nokia N90! It may not be the biggest resolotuon as you can get 3MP or 5MP but this 2MP cam is excellent quality and better than the Samsing £MP or 5MP and 2MP camera is brillaint so yeah this camera rocks and is not near a VGA!

this last review posts that after the 2mp resolution comes the VGA. is that true?
if it's true, then I won't buy this -sigh- beautiful phone.
I'd get back to my first option, N3230.

Sopor: That's cool! On my SE T610, that just brings up the screensaver! So it turns off all sounds, does it just turn on silent mode? And if someone who has the phone can put it on to siletn and see if it makes a shutter nosie or not please tell me!

Riannoosssss: This beats that Nokia 6800 compellty! Have a look at the specs, this has card slot, best camera ever along with Nokia N90, excellent Mp3 player, lighter and more! That Nokia doesn't have all of that!
if you want a music phone though wait for the Sony Ericcson W800 to come out as same camera, flight mode which you can view the gallery on the phone, listen to the Mp3 player for 30 hrs instead of 15hrs when the phone is on and take pictures and video when the phone is off! Also comes with a 512MB memory stick pro duo card instead of a 64MB one witht his phone and bluetooth wireless headphones instead of standard non bluetooth wirless headphones thta come with this K750!
Either way this K750 and the W800 beat that Nokia 6800 out of the sky!

You can turn off all sounds by pressing and holding the #-key. You now have a very quiet phone.

Sopor: Yes you can and even if that FAQ thing you said it was 2GB it still is 1GB but I will check it out!
marco: Tou turn off the shutter nosie, go to slielnt or meeting mode! Let me know if turning it on siletn works! They have the shutter though because it is their policy and that is to stop people taking secret photo's really like perv's or any other secret rude illegle material!

Sopor: I would like to have a link that FAQ and at the moment the phone can only hold upto 1GB and maybe upto 2GB in Novemeber to December!

Bored: Thanks for that info about the meory card, that helped thanks! But now to your question: As I have said about a billion and 1 times this phone can only support the formats: Mpeg4 and 3GP! Not avi or any other formats! The phone records in 3GP format! It can record for over 2 hrs with no memory used up and with memroy card and no used memory, you will have loads more recording time! Remember the phone will only record until the memory runs out so it could be 9 seconds as you ahve hardly any memory left!

this phone is amazing,it is the best sony ericcson that i had ever seen.The pictures quality is perfect.All the options of this phone are very cool like music video dj, the radios, the games

Just got my 1gb MS Dual Pro today~ Its gReaT!!! Well, I have to warn you though.. It'll take around 5 seconds longer to start up the phone and around 3 seconds longer for the first try to view the pictures and stuff from the card but overall performance is spledid. Anyway, can I check what video format does the phone support? I just uploaded a .avi into my phone and apparently it can't read it. And what is the best format for the phone? Is is the mpeg4 or something? Can we shrink the size of the movie or video files to fit the k750i's screen to save memory?

Specification on www.sonyericsson.com says both Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO duo

does the k750i accept just memory stick duo or does it also accept memory stick duo PRO? cos they go upto 1gb cheers
