Thanks for giving the link out Tommy!

lostmaker: Are you sure m8? You should be able to stop it charging and transfer files from phone to pc! Try again or get help!

This phone does not play .rm or .ram files (i.e. real player files)

Leon: Lines are caulld noise and will happen in low lit conditioned areas as it is down to the sensor on the camera! It is a CMOS sensor that hardly uses any power but has lots of noise in a photo with low light conditions! Where as they are thinking by the end of Novemeber, it will feature a CCD sensor which will be a lot betetr in low light conditions and will hugly reduce the amount of noise in a lit area on the photo but takes up a lot more battery power but they almost certain to put one in this phone!

The camera on the k750 performs very well in well lit conditions. But dark areas on photos get lines on it. This happens after the picture is taken and only seen when the picture is saved. My settings are on the largest size and in fine quality.

I've been wanting a phone that used a USB cable for data transfer and charging for ages as I've gotten dependent on it when travelling. However, I've just realised that you can't use the cable to transfer data from a laptop whilst on battery as there is no way to turn off the charging and it will drain the laptop battery rapidly.

Just a minor flaw but one worth noting.

          David,

Have you checked that both the phone and pc have the same daylight saving setting? That can often lead to an hour difference between devices.

You can set up multiple contact folders in outlook. I have one called phone contacts that I synchronise my phone with and manually transfer to my main outlook contacts.

I've now downloaded the USB Cable update but whenever i try i download the software to update my phone, i click on "I Agree" to the license agreement and then i just get a blank screen. I've left it for 20mins and it still stays as a blank screen. I've tried different browsers, i've re-installed the java client, i've cleaned the cache and i've made sure cookies are allowed but it's still giving me the blank page.

That is the link to Sony Ericssons support center where there are instructions on how to download the new firmware. The page is also available in different languages too.

the picture quality is also highly dependant on the lens and software and processing chip afterwards.you could make 12 megapixel camera phones and have a rubbish picture if the above are poor quality.cmos sensors have come along way now as firms invested in the cmos due to what the last post said about power consumption which is stiil critical to all mobile or portable products.it would take a while to explain the different charateristics between complimentry metal oxide semiconductot sensor and a charged couple device.it also has to do with complex algorithmic maths so the best option is to try in the shop and remember it wont look best on a comp screen its what its like printed out.i think you should personnely be allowed to try a print out to see if its what you want but most i know never even get to that stage, its just left in digital format??

Don't buy into the hype that CMOS sensors are always inferior in quality to CCD sensors, because it is not true. While it is generally the case in low end camera sensors, such as those in the first wave of megapixel cameraphoness, it is very possible to make a high quality CMOS sensor. In fact, the two digital SLR cameras that I use for shooting photos for this site are both equipped with CMOS sensors (one 6mp, the other 8.2mp). The CMOS sensor design has advantages over CCD units; they are smaller and they use less power, which is why we've typically seen them in cameraphones. But as the K750 will show us, they can also be made to take fine quality photos, approaching those created with dedicated point and shoot cameras.

The only time that the quality lacks is when the light levels are low. In such cases, the photos look much noisier than you would hope for, and look much more like those shot with a lower quality CMOS sensor. The K750's night mode and assist light help a bit, but not enough to really make low-light photos usable. But for most other situations, the K750's camera is fantastic considering it is in a typically sized handset.

Is it possible to play MP3 songs in this that are less that 192 kbps? I want to play MP3's that are 40-90 kbps so that I can store more songs in my memory? Thank you!
