Den, 05W18 looks right about the week made in? Yes, I've installed their latest USB script driver before installing the firmware. Kinda pain in the butt. Their external java script kept on failing so had to try multiple times.

Does anyone knows which is the theme that can change the backlight to blue??? Where can i get the theme?

The K750 is the best phone! I just got mine from saturday :-) Everything works perfect not any problem. When I connect my phone through usb to my laptop it recognises my memory card so I can just drag and drop my files to my phone:-) The pics are just great! I would also like to know how to prevent certain contacts for getting synchronized. I'm thinking to write my own synch program in java :-)

Just got my K750. Lovely, but flawed. I'm living in Singapore, and when synchronising my Outlook with my phone, it moves all the appointments forward one hour when viewed on the phone. I assume it is a time zone issue, but Outlook knows I'm in a GMT+8 area, and that's how the k750 is set up too. Any suggestions?
Oh, and if anyone knows how I can maintain different contact lists (one for laptop, one for phone) and flag which ones I don't want synched (Outlook distribution lists, for example) that would also be great. Thanks in advance.....

Kris ,,very weird that, as most people have got the update and there phone is working so much better speaker ect..maybe take your's back and ask about it or phone sony E up..what wk is the phone made??take the battey out and look on the phone top right hand side you will find the week the phone was make... ASK,,, a few have had the same problem with this but i havent used it as of yet..did u install the usb update drive's on the site also under scrip's i think??it will say on it there they are needed for update's to the phone hope this help's???C L lens for the n90 has not done alot in term's of a better picture it's seem's like it's a marketing selling point..just a glass len's..but between both phone's not seen much difference in the picture quality...

I'm having problems downloading the new firmware. It says to "remove the phone from the USB cable, turn phone off for 20secs and re-connect to USB cable holding down the 'c' key and the update will start automatically in 15secs." When i re-connect it to the USB cable holding down the 'c' key, the phone just turns on then nothing else happens. Anybody know what i'm doing wrong?

JJBIGS: My signal is better on this phone than that of the Nokia 6230.
I never got any signal in ANY pubs in my town i get nearly full now.

after going through the specs of this phone. i came to realize that this is one of the best phones that sony ericsson ever created aside from p910i. this phone has class and egde in terms of the design and functionality. i can't wait to have my own k750i. i have been dreaming to have this phone eversince i saw it from the net. it's quite expensive though but still i really am craving for this phone. sony ericsson, keep it up!!!

liam: Remeber the carl zeisse lens is only on the Nokia N90 and not this Sony Ericsson K750!
Gogo: lol P910?? lol this phone is a lot better than that!

I just had my first crash on my new K750. As Den recommended, I downloaded latest service fireware from SE globlal support site. The speaker phone got WORSE!! Now has a horrible hissing sound and still low :( Menus are slightly faster though.

paso - my cuzin knows a guy that can get me any phone in the word as long as it works in america. since the k750 works for cingular. he can get it for me. and i can get it from him for 250 with activation. i live in US by the way.

I will write the iprovments for the Nokia N90 and Sony Ericsson K750 when i ahve time!
But I must say, I got hold of a Nokia 3210 that I have been using recently temporaly while my old SE T610 is fixed! Now the Nokia 3210 is very old, even before the Nokia 3310! But this is much heavier than the Nokia 3310! I felt it was really heavy so I looked at the specs to see that it weighed a 151 grams and looked at the Nokia N90 to remind myself how much it weighed and the Nokia N90 weighs a 173 grams!!! The Nokia 3210 was really heavy but the N90 must be something else! it is like a brick but with great technolagy lol!

This phone has an "almost as good as a real digital camera" camera, which is actually the worst kind of camera to have in a phone. Picture this: You go on vacation, and experience wonderful scenarios that you want to take pictures of, but you only brought your k750. When you come home you realize that all the pictures look deasent, but not as crisp as they would look, had you brought your digital camera. So you are stuck with ok pictures of wonderful things. Not nice. (I have the Sharp V902, I know what I'm talking about.) Bring your camera!!

n90 is a very big phone plus it seems to be very slow when going through the menu's...as for the camera i couldnt see much difference betwwen the to phone's...if u need 3g and edge they are the main difference's with the two phone's..n90 is also very big..BT on mine picks up phone's ok and reception is good..they have just put on the SE web site a firmware update and people have said this has helped in that also..i havent done the update yet..but has made the phone faster also have heard and speaker louder...

Also there is no prrof that the N90 is better than the K750 but could win by a tinsy bit but hardly anything in it! But then the phone is 3G, has EDGE and so on!

This phone does have the best camera though but not resolution but brilliant even though it is only 2MP as you can get 3MP or 5MP but there not as good as this 2MP one! Will be changing to CCD instead of CMOS as that has more noise but CCD just take up ore power but is basickly better! The Nokia N90 is maybe a little bit betetr with the Carl Zeises sensors in the camera but about the same and is still a CMOS sensor and has no plans to change to CCD!
The K750 if true and I am very sure it is, should have a CCD sensor on it by after Novemeber or just before Decmeber this year!

i ahve a list of improvemnts it could have but just try reading like the 21st page of posts and take your time reading some posts with all the bad things about the phone! It is really annoying when people just get others to do all the hard work! Just try looking yourself!
