paso: No offence but I am suppriseds you ahd only just found that out as is a bit obvious in th name: "Flight Mode" Basickly the phone is off and as you can only listen o the Mp3 player and for longer plus the camera and the gallery i think,it has just disableds the signals for when using it as a phone! So the W800 is quite cool but not everyone likes the look!

bluetooth recognition is not strong enough. nokia cathes the sorounding bluetooths but mine empty.

The K750 seems to have an average antenna, the phone barely gets signals whereas my friend with an old Nokia gets 2 bars when my K750 is searching for the network, thinking of returning the phone.

reading the Si Dude post i discover that w800 can be used also on the aeroplane (u can use mp3 and camera functions)...but does the k750 be used on the plae without interfeer??? (of course i'm talking about the mp3 and the camera function)

Jack : no you cant. MS Stick Pro is a large size card. It won't fit in at all.

the new firmware is on the SE site under global then surpport but people have said when on the phone the speaker is alot louder,people who had crash's have had known so far with the new firmware..camera is now 4.4 no idea what is different ..menu is faster again...i have yet to get the new firmware..

The phone is only availble in black on all networks and the whole phone and Vodafone has the Live bit but go to the Vodafone shop and or other places are getting new firmwares! The bugs are mainly on 02 which they are re doing! You could get the phone sim free or on Orange or get it on orange as it has no bugs, unlock it and out t-mobile sim in intead of having the D750!
Tommy can you tell us how to get the new firmware?
Rob, yes it would be nice if people bothered reading some posts and I answer loads of posts each day, about 5 pages worth each day and are mostly the same and I have to keep repeating my self!
I do not know about the bass and quality as I do not have the phone! That is my only disadvantage! I know a lot about the phone but havn't got one, so some questions I can't answer! Sorry!
People don't get the W800 mainly because of the look of it but W800 will comes with 512MB memory card and better sound quality BLUETOOTH headphones which will comes with the phone as K750 you only get 64Mb memory card and standard non wireless headphones, also it has no flight mode that the W800 has that you can listen to the Mp3 player for 30hrs when the phone is off instead of 15hrs when the phone is on, take pictures when the phone is off and do all this in the aeroplane so it won't interfeer! But the K750 is the main original phone that we talk about but W800 is better but it depends on what people like the look of the phone!

can anyone tell me whether this phone is available in black color for Vodafone at this moment? and i heard tat there are a lot of bugs in this phone, have all these bugs been fixed now? and will it be safe for me to purchase this phone at this moment or should i wait for a moment till it gets stable 1st?

For people to know what the difference is on the duo pro and just pro memory cards, Bryann had said it on a post so here it is: Sony brought out their own memory card called the memory stick for their own devices.when the p800 was launched they decided to fit an external storage but could not get the unit in so they brought out the memory stick duo which smaller although both could only hold a maximum of 128 mb.next they upped the storage up to 1gb and called it pro.niether my p900 or the s700 can take the pro but later models do .My question is in what mobile they say the video has increased framerate but after searching most sites i know cannot find out what it is ,,ihope its higher than 15 frames per second to make it more smoother + is the screen crisp bright and colourfull as what ive seen on that chequ sit (mobil-review)and other shots it looks pale.
AVI is not supported on this phone only 3GP and Mpeg4 are the only video formats that can be supported.
The phone should change I think and hope to a CCD from a Cmos sensor late his year coming up to Decmeber! Better phones will be out by then lol!

The difference between the d750 and the k750 is that the d750 is a t-mobile only branded phone. a bit samgsung e810

Has anyone tried the new firmware version yet? Does it get rid of all of the Vodafone Uk stuff(e.g Vodafone Live)??

I just got one in Switzerland from Swisscom for ca. CHF 99.- with a new contract.
It works great sofar.
It doesn't support Avi's.
