You can't set SMS polyphonic ringtones for them but I thinky ou can with MP3's! You can only record in 3GP format which isn't as good as MP4 (Mpeg4) as it is better quality and easier to sue and more widly used! To play 3GP you will either have to download a plugin for your player if they offer it or convert it into MP4 format! The phone can paly MP4 formats, just not record in them which is silly really!
Also jake if you're right that is stupid I want a phone with all the features I want! I think in the future there will be customisable phones where you can decide what to put in ya phone on what the company offers!

I have found a comprehensive review of this phone at http://www.mobile-review.com/review/sonyericsson-k750-en.shtml
I have had a play with it in the o2 shop. Loks superb, but can anyone tell me if there is a way of recording video in mp4 format. It has mp4 plaback capabilty, but acording to that review I read it only records video in 3gp. The playback on the phone doesnt make a difference, but when you transfer it to PC an mp4 is about twice the size of a 3gp. Am I missing something here?

just received yesterday. so many bells and whistles. overall happy except a few things. Reception inferior to other systems like nokias and samsungs. Phone has been freezing up already thus preventing alarm from waking me up this morning, (done this twice now) and phone wont allow me to access t-mobile home page. Apparently there is some lock on the phone. I give it a 7 considering its price.

Keep one thing in mind...no manufacturer is gonna make "the perfect fone". There'll always be something you wished there was in the fone.

Just got the phone in hand today. This phone is a must have, the camera superb and is no comparsion to other camera phones available. The MP3 player and Radio are good. Excellent Sound Quality. The Media palyer button on the phone is useful to pause and start songs at ease. All in all an excellent phone.

RDS stands for "Radio Dimensione Suono". You could go to "www.rds.it". Its basically enhanced Radio, the sound quality etc.

I think I have the right slot, it says:
ms/ms pro is that right or should it say 'duo'?
Thanks

One advice...Its always a good idea when buying a high-end handset, to wait a while, cos the 1st generation models will definitely have flaws in them, which will be ironed out in the subsequent models that are released in the market. The good thing about waiting is, the same models that are released a little later will have little or no flaws in them & of course will be cheaper. The point is to see how the fone fares in the market.
