Si Dude.
You're wrong again. CCD is better than CMOS on a like for like basis, but they use more power. And the K750i WILL have a CCD sensor before the end of the year, although it may have a new name.

Yeah I used to do it on there but got too much and decided to do this but now I am finding this quite hard to keep answering all these questions! People have a look on my website at: http://www.freewebs.com/sjtproductions/Sony%20Ericsson%20K750%20questions%20answered.htm or the previou posts on here and you will probably find the answer to your question! If not put your question down on here! But I am getting a bit fed up of keep having to repeat myself!

CMOS are now better than CCD sensors!!! And where did you get that info fom that they will release the same one with a CCD sensor! CMOS are now proven better with it being updated and more widly used and better for smaller things to put cameras in liek mobile phones/cell phones!

but do u really think that there will be a big difference?look at the ccd len's in the 902 aint that good.the other thing is if people have been waiting for this phone for so long now they have to wait another 3-4months just to have the new len's.the k750 with the cmos lens has shown that it is very good in picture taken.by the time the next one come's out there maybe other phone's in the pipe line...

Dont recomend to buy it at the moment. The main reason is that all models which are in stock till the end of summer have CMOS sensors. Later on they going to exchange CMOS for a new CCD module and the price will be the same.

I got this phone yesterday after a big confusion between 6680 and this one. But since i have 6630 i decided to go with this one.. Because i was attracted towards the 2 mega pixel camera.
The phone was less heavier than i thought. and it was cute and smaller. The keypad i would say is not all that comfortable compared to the NOKIAS. I have noticed that in SE S710 also the keypad was not good. Other than that the display is very clear and bright. Colorful! The camera is superb! The menu functions are easy and simple to use. i wud update with the battery performance and other issues once i play with it for a week or so.
I got a good deal for 480$ in CTI

RDS, or the Radio Data System, is a system by which useful information can be transmitted to a tuner or receiver. Any radio that has the RDS "figure of eight" logo and wording will be able to receive and decode RDS information. Information available will often include:

                  the station name,
an indication as to whether the station broadcasts travel bulletins,
an outline of the programme currently being broadcast,
                  the current time,
RDS works on the FM waveband only since the RDS information is encoded within the FM signal. RDS is not available on medium wave, long wave or the AM waveband.

                        To Jake:

The correct explaination of RDS is: Radio Data System.
The one you found was in Italian :)

I bought it 2 days ago K750i,i love it regards to media, loud ringtone, photos and video taking. But the bluetooth connection semms bad, it drops from time to time during connect to my PC or bluetooth handfree, I do not mind as I know this also happen with SE 700 model.

Yes you can write a text and have the Mp3 Player running in the background as it is what is known as running in the background! The signal strength I have heard is meant to be quite good normally so yeah it should be!

Haven't read though all this information, but notice that with a 2MB camera the pics are around 225KB. I'm guessing you can convert these to thumb nail size as sending them via PXT or email is a) Not going to work due to size, or b) with GPRS email cost you a lot.
                                  Just a thought.

To have a look at the picture quality have a look at the reviews on here comparing the digital cameras with this phone!

And yes you can put a polyphonic tone as your SMS message so they say but not an MP3 tone!
