Give me hard evidence that CCD sensors are better than CMOS now and how you know the information otherwise I don't believe you! Also give me hard evidence that they are putting a CCD sensor in this phone! I think it is a bit stupid that they make a phone and then change it after like a month it has been out! So give me proof on those 2 things!

Tommy, not sure who your source is but I work for O2. I spoke to Sony Ericsson and spoke to several advisors in Data Support and they have no information about any planned upgrades for the K750i. No CCD Upgrade etc. Where did you get that information from?

The video/sound recording will go on till there's enough memory. It'll continue to record till the memory's finally over. And as far as mp3 files having a digital copyright, i dont think that's a problem, just transfer your mp3 files to your fone from your PC or from someone else's fone via bluetooth or any other means & it'll play.

Why charge it for so long. Just give it what it needs. I know people who charge there phone overnight say every 2nd night and now they charge it overnight every night cos they killed the battery by charging it for too long. Anyways I got my k750 yesterday and so far no problems to report.

Charged my new K750i for 16 hours and then a red light came on in the infrared port. Now it won't power on at all. Seems like the perfect phone apart from the fact that it doesn't work!!
Now I've got to wait for another day to get a replacement and then another 16 hours to charge that one!

I was wondering what Hani's sources are. It is hard to beleive that just 1 month after the release of the phone that the CCD sensor is going to change. I hope its true, improvement is always welcome.

It is not exactly hard. open the lens and then the camera will come on. then semi hold the camera button so it autofocus's. then fully press it and hey presto the photo is taken.

Yes people it is official, K750 will have a new CCD sensor by July. Here are some of the new features:
Better auto focus under poor light conditions
Higher detailing of items within 5 meters distance compared with the CMOS-module
Another image processing algorithm, saturated colors
Better implementation of image processing from macro mode
Slightly longer time to save images
Power consumption up by some 5-10%
Other lenses for the new matrix
Hope this helps people.

123 at least make the effort to use grammar, and post a question that makes sense if you want people to reply to it quickly.

I've searched the replys, and couldn't find whether this question had been asked or answered.
Does the K750i mp3 player have any embedded digital rights management, for either the player or mp3 ringtone?
I understand that the V800 does require MP3-based files to be digitally protected with DRM, is this a similar case with the K750i?

CCD sensors are definitely better for high quality images as compared to CMOS sensors, as already said they do use more power, nearly 100 times more that CMOS sensors. And SE batteries drain pretty fast. Not sure what the K750i has. If they are using CCD sensors, they must do something about improving their battery life.

Saw many in H.K. yesterday and the last few days. Many have the same problem. All have the same bug in them. I would not buy one now. fax like sound when one answers the phone with another phone near by. Unclear static sound weather on speaker or ear. major bug that needs to be fixed with this phone which is why they delayed shipment on this phone..
