This phone only accepts MEMORY STICK DUO PRO! It doesn't always say the Pro bit but it should but if it saids memory stick duo get it and it will work! The D750 is asackly the same as the K750, but with W800s design and is only on t-mobile! This has no flight mod elike the W800! Just go for what design you thinks best but 02 don't trade mar their phones where as t-moible you will have t-mobile shortcuts which you can't change and t-mobile logo at bottom of phone or top but probably bottom!

"Quick quezzie for people out there - every review Ive seen, (I believe its)the focus on the K750 which is functioned by holding down the joystick button at a certain depth, then pressing harder to take the pic. Sounds incredibly iffy, anyone know if thats still in the final version?"
There is a shutter button on the side of the phone which you press half way down to focus and then all the way to take the photo. I dont think anyone knows if you can take photos with the phone vertically.
Anyone know how much it will cost in Hong Kong

firmware is like a program and is the software on the phone! Its liek a CD RW on a pc! If you wanted to update the firmware you could visit the site and uodate it to a better one to make it run better or something like that! On phones its the same! The W800 has flight mode and thats because that is different firmware so we are seeing if people could put the W800 into the K750 so the K750 could have flight mode! When you upgrade firmware it is called flashing! You flash firmware to make something better basickly like an upgraded piece of software really!

whoops one more:
5) Can people explain the whole 'firmware' thing to me? eg what exactly is it? how do you know what version your mobile has? how would you update it? should you update it? why update it? etc

Wow so many things I want to Comment on! ok...
1) D500 still is an awesome phone. If you take the K750i off the market (hell it aint even on it yet!), then theres your second best 'mainstream' mobile right there. My only dig with it is a) Samsungs reputation for producing phone screens that don't last long b) Lack of expandable memory. If you can put up with a slider, then its fine for your typical user (if still not a bit pricey!).
2) Think D500 was rated best phone of 2005
3) S700 is a BEAST of mobile! Its absolutely huge. For me if people dont care about size, then they may as well go for 'smart phones' with Windows n stuff on em.
4) Quick quezzie for people out there - every review Ive seen, (I believe its)the focus on the K750 which is functioned by holding down the joystick button at a certain depth, then pressing harder to take the pic. Sounds incredibly iffy, anyone know if thats still in the final version?

the n90 i think its a big phone but seems to be looking very good at the mo it has a high pixel screen also which should make the pictures look grt on the phone screen when viewing them plus looks like thats going to be out in july.but if u have seen the sharp 902 this n90 is bigger then that.the choice 4 phones has got harder cause all companys r releasing phones at the same time.

i had the s700i grt phone i thought just the size and to get to the key pad was a pain sometimes would of been easy if a flip phone, but in the long run i thought i was a fantasic phone excellent screen grt pictures and the menu systems was grt, looks like the k750i has make a few improvements so im now waiting 4 the release of the k750 as i think it will be a grt phone,i did read something today which makes me wonder how clear the screen will be when looking at the pics u have taken on the phone after something i read on a site but i can say the pictures on the s700 look grt when u look at them on the phone.but heres the thing i read... (The screen is a novelty in the brand’s range. Shared by “the new three” (K750, W800 and K600), this one has a very high contrast, all the 262.000 colors you need, and a physical size a bit larger than the K700 but much smaller than the V/Z800. Perhaps 176x220 pixels feel a bit short…; even with a phisically small screen the resolution (pixels per inch) won’t even come close to the one of the S700 —still the best screen by Sony Ericsson ever)... but they r saying the phone and the auto focusing is very gd from the fimware....(The refresh rate in the viewfinder is also really fast, as it is the automatic exposure compensation (heaps faster than the S700). In fact, everything is fast in this phone. Considering it is a prototype runing a tweaked V800 firmware (just like the W800 and K600 current prototypes), it is a proof that SE has finally achieved a decent level of action and menu speed)..... i hope its helped alittle.but i no i will be waiting 4 the phone to come out and test it b4 choising.
