D500 over k750, why? K750 is newer with better camera and mp3player, and it's cheaper than the d500.

      @jo
then u wouldnt mind carrying an ipod, digicam together with a phone that can only text/call?after all according to you that is what a mobile phone should be all about
D500 has so many problems, like how it cant vibrate n ring at the same time, plus everyone's memory needs r diff,u cant juz say 90 mb is enough for everybody

K750 is the best phone these days and in the near future, this is fact. It's not comparable to n6230i, because k750i has a lot better features.
And d500 is good for nothing with it's mp3 player, you can store max 20 mp3 files in you phone, and the camera is...Please stop talking about samsung and nokia here.

TRUTH is my friends! That maybe d500 is "enough"! BUT why spend more money on something that is enough, when you can spend even less money and get the whole package!

Still d500 is much more expensive than k750, and k750 hasn't even been released. Can you see where this is going?

It's all about being smart and economic :D PLUUUUS get better functions :D

i'm currently a nokia user (6230) but i hav to agree that Samsung D500 is a more pratical choice than this one..yeah, it doesnt hav memory card but the internal memory is sufficient enough for "normal" users..it has better display & astounding design..sony ericsson's phones are for "camera-freak" people bcoz they put more emphasis on d camera capabilities than the basic call & text functions..see S700i, it has excellent camera but SE gave up d design..it is HUGE..and by d way, Samsung is d second largest (next to Nokia) telecom.. sony is what?4th?or 5th? and D500 is the best mobile handset for 2005 if u'r not aware..
i used to have K700i, the battery is worst & SE's "arrow back" key is terrible..as long as that key is stil on SE's phones, it will never be a user-frienldy phone..

Yeah, go for the D500 where you have to stick up with poor user interface, bad graphics, no expandable memory, want a "Samsung" which has a shorter product life.

                    lol@chandler
yeah, sharp phones r also good in displays..but we'r not talking abt sharp, r we?i'm comparing d display of this thing to D500..D500's display is much better than this one..
also, i ddnt say D500 has better camera than K750..K750 has 2.0 MP so it should be better..
d bottom line is, if u want a phone that has good design & has enough functions, then go for D500..if u'r after the camera capabilities of a phone (w/c is stupid bcoz a phone is for calls/text), then K750 os not a bad choice..but if i wer u, buy a digicam, way better than any mobile phone..

here something else i have had a read of from some1 who tests the phones,on another forum,if u remember there was a blur when the pics where taken they seem to be resolved this is what they wrote,.. ( I did not like the quality in march. They presented it as your
digital camera in a phone and when I say the quality it was terrible. The
quality I saw yesterday was really great. The blur relation to the auto focus
issue Rog showed was gone. We printed a photo on A4 paper and for a 2.0
Mpixel camera great/superb quality. Now you have the position to really make
photos of things and show it in a good quality. It is not a digital camera which
you buy now in shops, but really a phone with the best camera in the market) so like most of us thought about the blur looks like that has been sorted.

the video lengh should be like the k700 and the s700 u can select limited which is about 2min or change it to unlimited and how that wrks is it will run untill u memory on the card is full so how big memory is the longer recording time which is very good, when knew film where comes out for a phone where can u get it from on the internet by usb cable or is it aloy more complicated?

Hey, I was just wandering if anyone knew the video recording capabilities of the phone?

Like, what resolution can video's be taken on, what frame rate, and how long can you record for?

The Nokia 6230i and Samsung D500 both have video record up to one hour. The K750 would be something similar, right?

Its the same with all phones,i have had so many in the past yr 6230,s700i,7610,d500.they r all different set ups and wrk different sonys phone took abit to learn it with the cancel button and bk buttons but after that was fine the 7610 i really didnt like the menu settings on that if u went in to something say settings and went to phone settings if u didnt go bk on your self and just pressed cancel the nxt time u went itto settings it went to that point u were in hard phone to use i thought.but with the SE s700i it had a grt menu grt options and the cam was grt so i am going to wait 4 this phone as it is the same as the s700i but smaller phone which will be easier and a better cam 2mp so my advice wait till the phone comes out and compare them or go to a local store see if theres a dummy phone but like i said takes time to get used 2 a new phone

i had the same thing with the txting on the s700i but all new phones if by a different company take time to get used to,the joystick also is something u will get used to but in the long run this phone will be better then the 6230 i had this phone when it first was released nice phone but now there is the upgrade which is the 6230i which has a 1.3mp cam.im waiting to get a contract phone again and im having to wait cause i want the k750 like i said at first takes time to get used to cause its a new phone but in the long run i would still go 4 this phone.
