Its a brilliant handset, but since its a sonyericsson product, its music should have been better. The ringing sound should have been louder.

Yes, i use one 2gb m2 with this phone and works great, don't worry about it.

Guys, if ur budget is within rs.15,000 go 4 this phone with ur eyes shut. There seems to be no problem with the joystick n its far more better than n73's

Hi everyone
I would like to purchase the sony k790 (I saw it at a local sony store and I am not sure exactly if it is OK to use it out of the US since I also ran across the internet like this site and sony site and others that there is such K790i and K790a. (I asked the sony people and they seemed puzzling about it. And so far I could not see the K790a and K790i at any local stores I stopped by. I really prefer to buy it locally for ease of questions and local support and so on even though I know it is a bit higher in price than on the internet.
If someone could please let me know for sure wether I can use the K790 for both US and outside with T-mobile. Thank you very much.

I like the K790 and i really enjoy sony's product on these high quality picture phones and there are also many good features i just have one problem with this phone and its with durability i know phones are delicate to begin with and your bound to get scratches but if you are planning on buying this phone i recommend purchasing a case as well all the corners on my phone have chipped off the silver around the outside just falls right off the phone. Other than that the phone is amazing! and i cant wait to get the new K850

790i is not a phone,it is an amazing digital camera with a facility of a phone!but youngsters beware of a joystick which is very delicate.

i have a K790i and I love it. It is a excelent phone with many utilities. Simply, It is the best phone that I have had all my life. For me, Sony is the best brand in the World, 10.000 times better than Nokia. However, I have a doubt about the video resolution: I would like to know how much is its resolution and how many fps (15.. 30?).

You just put the phone in silent mode and there is no shutter sound.

you can turn the shutter sound, while taking shots... Switch the phone to silent mode by long press on the Key #. Then start taking snaps... I think that is the only way... Thanks

Personally i have been using this phone to record converstations with clients. This makes me to save my paper and ink.... The clarity of voice recorded is awesome....
Music no comments. They are simply superb.. But converting music to 3gp pr AAC format's tends to loose down the clarity. But that's not the Mobile's mistake....
I have dropped this phone atleast from 2 -3 feet nearly 10 - 15 times accidently. The phone still continues to prove it stability...
The video format is not that good... Any way you can't have all the good apples in a basket...
My vote for this mobile is 10 on 10....
