SE K800i is a 3G phone with a secondary video camera while the K790i is an EDGE handset without any secondary video camera. Now is that clear?

yes the k800 has a front vga camera for 3g support while the k790 does not have a front vga camera with 3g support

im loving this phoen so far.. i jsut puleld it out the box.
i was just wondering if anyone knew how to adjust the volume without going intot he settings.
it says that the zoom buttons for the camera on the right side of it also function as volume control but when i hit them it just gives me the phone status which i dont care about.
anyone know how to fix this?

The difference between k790 & K800 is
K800 is a Europe/Asia tri-band (lack of 850 mhz) and it is a G3... but its useless in America because we use 3.5G in Canada... HSDPA it is.
and K790 is America tri-band (much MUCH better reception in Toronto)
Nokia N73 over all is nice because of the extra features, but personally i love SE's user interface... (esp. the snooze on alarm clock) and just the nice look of the k790. I'm using k750 right now.. and the reception sucks @$$... decided its definitely time to give up this phone. So moving on to k790 it is :)

i had that phone. its super. but it had a problem that it sometimes hanged or simply went off. that happens sometimes after 5 days sometimes after 15 days. did anyone experiance that too.

For Mark: No its not like Nokia, Dust don't get inside the screen.
For Crap bag/Linx: No dear we cannot increase its sound more then its default.
For Adriana: Go to ur fone book, then go to options - advanced - backup to M.S
After that again reach the same menu till advanced then in there select send all contacts-via bluetooth/ir/e-mail, transfer it to ur PC. A 10kb file editable in MS Outlook will be created. Use this whole fone book with any Sonyericsson as well as Nokia fone.(No need to transfer all numbers 1 by 1)
Yes we can make playlist in this fone as well, just go to music player-playlists-new playlists-add

woow the se k790 is the booom the camera is perfect i've also learnt about a secret code on the sonyeicsson phones.any one that wants the code hollla me with ma addi.theres no point having a 5 and 8 mega pixel camera becoz the k790 3.2 mega pixel camera would just blow them away the pictures are well clean and crispts clean,i have a problem with the volume when listenin t music on the music player is lower than xpected,the usb is very fast for people who like to get things done quick.but if u have a fast comouter transfers would be even faster.the stabilizr only would in two modes. they r the twiligth landscape, and landscape mode,vise versa with the flash.ive had it for 5 weeks and im angry becoz it has a scratch on it.the internet is fast,bluetooth transfer are exceptionaly well also.any one knows how to get the volume of the music player xtremely high?????

camera is good(only still picts)..not the video one...but over all phone is expensive..not worth the price...should have been atleast 2000 rs cheaper...bad thing about it is "sim switches off when connected with computer in file transfer mode."

Im having problems with copying contacts form the SIM card. I cant even see any phone numbers or SMSs which are on my SIM card! and trying to save anything into the SIM gives out error saying that the memory on SIM is full...I deleted lots of contacts and SMS from the SIM using another phone set but still the same problem. I used the copy contact from SIM wizard but faild. PLEASE HELP. This is a great phone n I want to be happy with it.
